We had an amazing evening. The steak frites, the burger, and the soufflé! Fantastic drinks.

Celebrated our daughter's birthday and this was my first time at this restaurant. Looks like a nice atmosphere and the bartenders were pretty good. Took forever once seated to get food or any type of service. Eventually went to the bar to get a refill of drinks along with others in our crew. The menu is an absolute joke as there is a lot of fill on what they serve you but both my wife I chose the burger as it was the most likely to interpret what I'm ordering. One it came after about an 1 -1 1/2 hours the burger was ok and fry's looked like it was fried in old oil. They were cold and for the money it was not worth it. I think a Macdonald Big Mac would have tasted better at a fraction of the cost. $27 for a burger, cold fries and a small milk shake which I couldn't understand that addition. While sitting at the table I am getting dripped on by the AC duct as that portion is in front of the door opening and with humid air coming in hitting that cold duct it was condensation and dripping on the patrons. In this case me. The server was terrible in my opinion and didn't really cater to many of our needs but the restaurant feels obligated to charge 20% gratuities of 6 people or more. Now I understand that concept as foreign people don't tip like in their country or none at all but that is where the problem is. If a server is good or bad they still are get their tip and in this case there was no incentive for good service. If I am paying $27 for a burger and fries that server better attend to my needs quickly and efficiently. Not sure if I ever will return to this restaurant as it left a bad taste. I usually go by the baseball rule 1 2 3 strikes your out but what brought me over to 3 strikes is the stupid menu and pricing. I think I will make my own dinner at home and bring it to the causeway for a better view and cheaper food and much better food. read more

The ambiance is upscale casual, so get as dressed up as you want ladies. The food is very upscale and delicious! Loved everything including the Grande Marnier Souffle. We had a fantastic experience here, I'd highly recommend. We were a party of 8, including a baby, and they truly were so accommodating and efficient in getting our food and drinks to us. We decided to take advantage of the price fixed menu for $39. It only runs for summer but it was a great deal. For my personal dishes, I got the tuna poke, which had a great kick and crunch. I tried the district burger, and it was as delicious as I had heard. Then I ended with the pee butt pie and it was a perfect sweet ending. Clint was our server and was very attentive and friendly and made it a great dining experience. We even got a birthday treat, the donuts. They were delicious. They personally selected our awesome appetizers and drinks. The food was top of the line and exactly why my wife and I have celebrated our last 6 anniversaries here. Our drinks were exactly as advertised. Dustin P and the entire staff was over the top attentive. The sweet tea chicken was so tender and I cannot forget the DESSERTS. DONUTS FRESH OUT THE FRYER, AND THE PEANUT BUTTER PIE. IT WAS A WONDERFUL OCCASION. We had a remarkably fun experience here sitting in the high top bar that overlooks the kitchen. I mean, you are sitting two feet away from the action! Anyway we were hypnotized by the orchestra of people working in there. The food was really good: snapper, chicken kabobs and fried chicken. I've seen the other reviews and we had no problems with temperature and quality. The only complaint: we ordered fries and there was just too many of them. :). Do be aware portions are big. Dinner for 5. - Ambiance (4*) Modern decor and environment. Very classy. A tad loud, so conversations weren't the easiest to hear. - Service (2*) Appetizers took forever to clear. My hot water came in a little glass tea kettle, which had leftover tea residue. I kind of didn't mind the light tea flavor, so I didn't end up saying anything. - Wahoo Dip, $15 (3*) Wahoo is such a tasty fish that I felt it was kind of wasted in a dip. Couldn't really discern anything wahoo about it. Really liked the crackers. Pickled onions were great, but the pickled hot peppers were much too spicy for the dip. - Oysters, $24 (4*) Shucked cleanly. A few sauces to pick from. - Spinalis, $32 (2*) I had seen a lot of Japanese influences on the menu, so I figured I would try the hand pulled noodles with bone marrow butter and yuzu. The dish that came was a bit confusing. The noodles had a bit of Q in it, but didn't really feel hand pulled. Thick, fresh, and a tiny of Q yes. Hand pulled... mmm, really not sure. A few pieces of surprise overcooked beef on the plate. A lot of raw scallions. Would have been better cooked a bit and wilted down. And then the sauce was super sour. Not really sure what to say about this dish. Did not enjoy it. - Value (2*) The appetizers were reasonably priced. The noodle dish felt pretty egregious tbh. - Final Word It had a cool vibe, and the menu seemed like it had a lot of promise. The descriptions were a welcome departure from the traditional Florida seafood restaurant. Execution left something to be desired. 2.5 rounded down to a 2, on account of the service, value, and noodles. read more

This was my first time at the District Table and I was impressed! They have a really nice entrance with a lot of vegetation and lighting. Inside is an open space. This place supposedly used to be a bank so their banquet room is the vault of the bank converted into private dining for events! Our server was Collin and he was what I'd consider a "polished server" his service and performance was outstanding! Started off with drinks. I got the "Currant event" and that was probably one of the strongest drinks I've ever had. It was good-ish but the strength and salty combo made it unenjoyable. Then placed a few apps. Their homemade bread served with a regular butter and a garlic herb butter. We also got the deviled eggs that we garnished with caviar they were also delicious. For the entree I tried their famous sweet tea fried chicken thats served with a huge biscuit and mac & cheese. For dessert we got the carrot cake and the peanut butter pie. I'm not a fan of carrot cake, but that was one of the best I've ever tried. 10/10 will be dack! read more

I have been going to the district table for years. They always bring it with a new rotating menu while keeping the staples for everyone to enjoy. We tried to mix it up as we usually would go for the top two favorites of fried chicken and the cheeseburger (2 very best items on the menu) with the Erika's pie and the new sweet potato. The pizza was delicious and we ate the whole thing - an elevated take on a classic Hawaiian pie complete with jalapeños, cilantro, and pineapple: solid 8/10, thin crust but with enough toppings to go around. However, the sweet potato had an identity crisis it seemed: bruleed top which gave it a nice texture but very strange finish. The sweet potato was left in a pool of beef broth consommé or au jus and it left a very weird dynamic between sweet and savory that just didn't blend well together: 3/10 for this item. Service was efficient and beautiful venue as always. Next time we might just stick to the classics. read more

What a pleasant surprise District was! The wife and I wanted to go out for a couple of drinks and apps. We ended up having four different apps and dessert! We really enjoyed the tuna tartare and the salmon crudo, they did a great job with balancing different flavors with each dish. The ambience was great, very modern and industrial with a visible kitchen. The service staff was very attentive, with different members assisting with taking empty plates and offering their service. Idk what to say, but I had to read some bad reviews and I was left confused and perplexed. Like what are these bad reviews and why? I cannot be part of that, because my experience was so good, i went back the day after. First, amazing ambiance, large "studio" open concept dining overlooking SE Dixie Hwy and occasional trains come ripping thru which gives it that old / modern charm. Outdoor seating as well, nice bar and selection of top alcohols. So first time there, greeted immediately by server, friendly / attentive. I ordered their "give it to guava..." great drink, I think I ordered (3)! Started off with $2 Thursday oyster special so ordered (5). Super fresh, amazingly shucked (no chips, grit, etc), spot on chilled. Came with standard condiments but their minced apple mignonette was something I never had and was truly exceptional considering I usually partake with just oyster and lemon. So good I ordered another (5). Then here comes my other app that literally blew my mind and which brought me here the next day. Wahoo Crudo...it's like sashimi on a plate with no rice. Just fresh raw wahoo over this garlic, toasted oil and chili crunch with lemon. Blew. My. Mind...I mean like wtf! Still in culinary heaven, then comes out my next dish, chicken kabob...all these flavors and twists that accent these chicken skewers were eccentric and proper, truly delicious as well. Not stopping, I had to try their deviled eggs and once again, overly impressed on their spin of deviled eggs. Ended with a cup of black pressed coffee. Went the other night, had patio table resv, it was nice, comfy with the fans even tho weather hot. John was our server and he was fantastic! I had the prix fixe, started with the watermelon salad what a nice fresh delicious starter. The feta, micro greens and slices of watermelon were sooo good! The. The burger, fries and baby shake. Very delicious and the milk bun wow. All was perfect. Ending was cinnamon donuts which were hot, terrific ending, included an orange custard dip and strawberry fruit dip. What a great Friday, this is one of my fav places. We also shared the tuna poke, which was perfect! Husb had the flounder over ramp, pea risotto. He enjoyed! Glad we could share the donuts! I've been wanting to come here for a long time, but never made it for happy hour. The menu is pretty pricey so I wanted to give it a try first at happy hour, and I was very impressed! Similar to Collab, they have a great happy hour menu. There are plenty of items for $10 and drinks are five dollars. Everything was really good, and I was so happy that three of the happy hour. Food items were either vegan or easily made vegan. I'll definitely be coming back here for dinner. I know they don't have a lot of dinner options or vegan, but I think there are some things that can be modified. Overall great place. Great atmosphere, great service, great food, and great options. I have eaten at "The District" at least 10 times in the last 12 months. I consider it one of my favorite restaurants in the Stuart area. So when my wife and I had out of town guests, it was the first place we wanted to take them. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. First, we arrived at 7:00 (and were promptly seated). However, our main courses didn't arrive unti 8:25. Shortly after that, a tray of drinks was dropped behind my wife splashing liquids and citrus slices on her sandaled feet. That's not reallt the bad part (accidents do happen). No one did anything about the mess for a significant period of time and there were no expressions of concern for, or apologies to, our group. Our table was right by the bar (a high traffic area) and customers and staff were walking through the mess for at least 5 minutes before the cleanup started. By that time, we ate about half our meals (the 1.5 hour wait and drink carnage had quelled our appetites), paid the check (still leaving a 20% tip), and left as quickly as we could. read more

We came here for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. We made a reservation for seating inside but due to the storm, the restaurant was quite busy. They asked us if we wanted to sit at the counter where the food was being prepared and we said yes. It was a really cool experience. The drinks were good and the food for the most part was delicious. Visited District Table last night with my in-laws. The ambiance was beautiful and the smoked wahoo dip was well balanced and flavorful, though the flour tortilla crackers were messy and hard to manage--regular crackers might work better. Unfortunately, the prime teres major entrée with creamed spinach and truffle fries was very disappointing for the $48 price. The steak was tough, had a lot of gristle, and was served only lukewarm. The creamed spinach was watery and the fries were overly salted. I mentioned this to the floor manager, but aside from an apology, nothing was done to address the issue. Dessert--the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting--was delicious, but the pecan ice cream was forgotten, which added to the overall disappointment. While the ambiance and appetizer were enjoyable, the food quality and service recovery did not meet expectations. I would rate this experience 3 out of 5 stars and would not return at this time. read more

They had a little bit too much brown sugar or sweetness to them for my liking. Our cocktails were also very tasty and we loved the Ambiance. All the servers were very pleasant. Their staff is so amazing and so efficient I went for a spontaneous date night had the best server who was informative, friendly, and just truly excellent. We started with the wahoo dip, which is an absolute must with the housemaid crackers, the pickled onions And the house made hot sauce absolutely outstanding. We also got the Belle Glade Street Corn, which is served off the cob. very generous portion, easily shareable and we actually use the crackers from the wahoo dip to scoop it up. It was absolutely outstanding. We also split a bao bun-also completely made in house. We went on to get the steak and truffle fries, which was absolutely enough for two people we even had enough to bring home. We topped it off with the lemon tiramisu, which is a completely different twist on the traditional one, but still excellent. overall great experience the prices for the quality are very reasonable a total of four cocktails three appetizers, a steak, main dish that was easily enough for two people and a dessert for about $150. read more

I popped in about 20 mins before closing and I was hungry so I just ran in and sat down at their back bar hoping that someone would serve me. I saw the chicken Peri Peri and just ordered it immediately when the server walked up. I was delighted and surprised that he didn't try to rush me and was friendly. He even asked me if I wanted a beer so I had a nice Lite beer from Destihl brewery. And the chef's did not rush either. The dish was cooked perfectly. As much as I loved the spice with my beer I could only eat half of it and the other half for a later night snack. I have been meaning to write this review sooner. Thanks guys! read more

The burger was juicy, the fries are crisp and the chocolate shake was the perfect dessert to end the meal. Sweet Tea Fried Chicken - So much food! You get two pieces of chicken, a biscuit, and mac and cheese - lets break tis meal down: Chicken - it was juicy dark meat off the bone fried chicken, it had the right amount of salty and sweetness to it! We have eaten here several times and it has been great. Recently went back, and was very disappointed. The service was great but the steak lo mein was horrible, salty, overly seasoned with soy sauce and the noodles were cut into small pieces. Also the ribeye dinner had 4 cut pieces of ribeye, not an actual 12-16 oz ribeye. Not the quality of food we have expected from a farm to table fresh restaurant. Very disappointing. read more

If you are debating going to District, don't, just go! I don't know why we do not frequent this place more, everything is so amazing! We started with our usual, street corn, which is definitely a large portion and the best I have ever had! We also tried two new to us items, the marrow bone and the pork bun! Both were great, the marrow bone would be better served with a crispier bread and the pork bun was also great but maybe a tad less aïoli. I rarely branch out at any restaurant and per usual I ordered the Prime Teres Major, which is just phenomenal. The steak, the fries, the gravy and even the spinach is perfection. However, I did have a nibble of my husband's sweet tea fried chicken and I might just throw a curve ball on my next visit! The breading is light and crispy, the meat is that wonderful word, MOIST, and the sides... mmmmm. AND DO NOT FORGET THE SOUFFLÉ!! Warm, yummy lemony goodness! All around perfection. Don't believe them when they tell you they will take your main order but hold it until you are done with your appetizers. If you like to pace your meal - Do Not give your entree order at the same time as your appetizer order. The MINUTE they whisked away our appetizer board our meals were immediately dropped at our table. Also, they are dying to turn your table. We were asked if we wanted to have our bread boxed before we even got our entree. Then 2 more times while we were actively eating we were asked if we wanted boxes. Also be aware that if you eat inside and it's busy - you won't hear a word your dinner mate says - it's LOUD in there. All that being said. The food is outstanding. The waitstaff is pleasant and professional. The unique drinks are great. The handicap parking is on the north side of the restaurant. My mother had to navigate up and down an uneven stone path connecting the parking lot to a sidewalk that stretches along several prime parking spots leading to the entrance (those are city spots on the street but it would be great if the city could make some of them handicap). The other option was to side slide her walker between planters and squeeze between tables or walk out of the parking lot to the sidewalk. Meanwhile there are at least 6 or 7 spots about 10-20 steps from the front door. That was frustrating but (I'm assuming) not in the control of the owners of the restaurant. The handicap parking issue is a big deterrent when going out with my mom. The other issues I can work around. Sit outside and YOU control the pace of your meal and you Will enjoy your night. read more

Went here tonight (a Sunday) for dinner at 730pm. We did have a reservation but there would have been plenty of room for us to walk in and be seated right away. Service was fast and consistent the entire meal. We sat inside but all of the doors were open so we got the nice, cool outdoor air in from the outside! of the four people in our half of the party - two of us had shrimp and grits, and two of us had the shaved Brussels sprouts salad. We also had the street corn as an appetizer. Shrimp and Grits rating - "the bacon chunks MADE the meal. The blackened shrimp were surprisingly spicy, but it was not too much! The egg was also a nice touch." Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad - I will say the salad was *a bit* too salty for my liking. (the other person in our party who ordered this got the dressing on the side and she noted hers was not too salty, so if you order - consider getting the dressing on the side and adding it to taste) But the egg was cooked perfectly and made the dish more filling than I would have expected! Definitely different than other typical salads you would find out at a restaurant. I came to District Table excited to use a $200 gift card I had won at a charity raffle -- an event I supported by donating $200 for the ticket. When I tried to redeem the gift card at the restaurant, the staff treated us dismissively and acted like the whole thing was a scam. They didn't even make an effort to check into it or get a manager or owner involved. We weren't looking for a handout -- just to redeem what was supposed to be a legitimate prize from a good cause. Instead, we were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was embarrassing and really disappointing, especially from a local business tied to a charity event. I hope this was a misunderstanding, but based on how we were treated, it didn't feel like it. A little courtesy and effort would have gone a long way. read more
