Tried this place again. We first went there when it opened years ago and we were not happy. But tonight, was significant improvement! I ordered delivery, and we got chicken tenders and milkshakes. All highly recommended!! We got the tenders sauced in a delicious Hot Honey sauce. To die for! The only problem was that I ordered several side sauces and they did not get the order correct. But the Hot Honey Chicken Tenders were sooooo good....i quickly forgave the oversight. And the milkshakes: one strawberry, one Oreo. Both positively scrumptious!!! The food was very good!! The spicy chicken was very spicy. But I enjoyed the plain as moist and tender. The waffle fries were definitely exemplary. The Mac and cheese but unfortunately I can't eat but my son thought it was great but he really enjoyed the broccoli!! Went last nite for a yelp event, 1st one for me that wasn't a walk in (4-years so far) who woulda thought, PDQ?! It was great, a sit down-multi course that was so perfect and well organized! Met so many terrific people! Started with beautiful, fresh salads; Mediterranean and house with a sample of dressings. Next were chicken tenderloins, fried crisp and succulent one with a honey type sauce the other plain for any sauce! Then sandwich halves, regular and hot/spicy, yum both great spicy my fav! Wait there's more, we had side samplings: crispy hot waffle fries, fresh fantastically made broccoli with Parmesan, mac&cheese! Dessert was cookies and 3 sample size milkshakes; vanilla (my jam), cookies and cream, strawberry. Everything was super tasty, fresh and nicely done! I'm giving this place three stars because the girl at the first drive-through window was super nice and helpful. I just paid nearly 9 bucks for three chicken tenders. Probably will never do that again. So I'm gonna take my first bite now and see if these tenders are so amazing that people would pay that much. The chicken is nice and tender and not dry. First time at a PDQ and it was somewhat comparable to Zaxbys but not quite as good. We did drive thru service and it took about 10 minutes but our food was hot and fresh! We ordered 5 chicken tenders, a large fry- which wasn't so large, and a spicy chicken sandwich. The tenders were large and tasty but they had quite a bit of breading. The large fry was more like a small...i can't imagine what a smaller order would have been. The spicy chicken sandwich was the best part of the meal! The spicy level was about a medium/hot. This place was a lovely experience! My first time at PDQ, really just wanted ti check it out for a quick nibble in-between shopping. The employees were gems! So sweet! And the food was surprisingly excellent! I didn't know what to expect, but I really loved it. I agree with previous reviews, it's super relaxed and you don't feel rushed. However, everything was quick! I would say PDQ nailed it on the sauces. We tried the ranch, garlic sauce, bleu buffalo, and PDQ sauce. All were unique and tasty! This location always takes the teas from the lobby early. I've been here twice around 5pm and all the teas were gone from the lobby. The green Jazmine tea is one of the reasons I come here. My guess is they want to get as much cleaned in the back so they can leave as early as possible when they close. BTW, they don't close until 9pm. Also tried the Mac and cheese and it was like a cheese soup. My tenders were hard and tasting like they had been sitting for a long time. Never had these issues at the Palm Beach location. The chicken tenders are always amazing. I actually prefer their tenders to Zaxby's. The pdq sauce is like zax sauce with horseradish added. Everything is always good. My only complaint would be that when you pull up, you have to order in person, but there's no menu in front of you. When you are ordering for a car full of kids, trying to remember everything on the spot without a menu for reference is difficult. If they could post a smaller menu at the order window, I'd say the place is perfect. If a Zaxby's location ever opens in Stuart, I'd still get the tenders from pdq and go to zax for sauce only. read more
