After being super disappointed that they took Cuban sandwiches off the menu, I decided to try one of the "new" chicken sandwiches. They should have stuck to Cuban sandwiches because this was the worst chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. It tasted like one of those frozen, puck-like patties that very young children like and was as dry as sands through an hour glass. The only redeeming thing was the garlic cilantro sauce. Just that on a bun would have tasted better. My friend ordered a Tropichop "all the way" and received a plain one. Good for what it's supposed to be. As a chain, the food is always constantly good: the rice is buttery, the chicken is tender, the beans are fatty and delicious, the bread is soft and steamed. Service is quick and the location is clean. Don't expect more from this restaurant than what they have to offer, it's good, cheap, and satisfying.
