When driving to Orlando from south Florida 0r to South Florida from Orlando you can save a little on tolls by getting the turnpike via exit 129 , La Granja is conveniently located between 95 and the turnpike in Fort Pierce. Ample free parking along with fast friendly service. They have a large menu with plenty of options. The chicken and beef were both good just ask for the beef sauce on the side as it was a little too salty. The portions were also generous so you may be able to order 1 plate and split it between 2 people. They have a good selection of beverages as well. If looking for a decent bite and want an upgrade from fast food but something fast I recommend this place. Dinner or lunch while traveling to and from Orlando. Ample free parking and simple ambiance decorated to fit the Grnaja theme.

Chose this restaurant because of its reviews. Ordering is convenient thru Google enabled thru DoorDash. But keep in mind that the prices are hiked up even if you choose to pick up the food. The prices at the restaurant are way lower. Peruvian food is one of my favorites and this restaurant lived up to the expectations. The fried rice was great but ensure to pick up from the selection of salsas they have. I liked the habanero sauce in particular because of the spicy flavor. Flan was a perfect addition as a dessert. Friendly staff assisted with the pick up. Dint get to experience the service. It's a local dive and the ambience was ok. Plenty of parking available and they have a drive thru counter as well. Moderately priced. Will I return? : For sure!

A great option for a stop on the road between Miami and Orlando At Ft. Pierce Edit you can find this option for a heartily and yummy meal We ordered lomo saltado (beef & chicken), portions generous and tasty, they also have a topping bar is you prefer more spiciness on your meal. Staff is friendly, even if they do not speak fluent English are willing to assist you with the food ordering process. You might be a little patient given the language barrier but overall it can be accomplished. The local is ample and visited by locals mainly, they also have Hispanic beverages and dessert available, tasty and enough portion to finish the meal.

We originally were going to go to Cracker Barrel for dinner before the long drive back home when a friend said "Have you been to La Granja? It's Peruvian and it's delicious." That was enough to dump CB for this place. The building looks like it used to be a Taco Bell. Walking in we were greeted with Peruvian music and an atmosphere of "family". We grabbed some tables for our group and stood in the growing line to order. I decided to get the Seafood Gumbo. Not much of a description but the photo looked amazing. I also got their Purple Corn drink aka Chicha Morada. I've had it before at different places and I love it. In about 10 minutes I heard my number called to pick up my food. I was excited. First, the purple corn drink was good but not as good as I've had before. Other people took a sip and didn't care for it. I dunno what's wrong with them. The Seafood Gumbo was life. It contained fish, shrimp, pieces of squid, peas, rice all swimming in a delicious creamy soup. I ate it all and needed nothing else afterwards. I'm glad we came here and now that I know they are a chain I'll be looking for more locations.

Purchased a #4 meal today and opened up the bowl of beans and noticed white slivers. At first I thought it was white rice but when I compared it to the yellow rice, even raw uncooked rice grains don't curve up to a pointy tip like this. And even I cut into one of the white slivers it was soft and squishy. They're maggots. Maggots in my beans. Not good, guys.

Stopped by here on the way back from Miami. My friend suggested it and when I went in I was a bit taken back by the state of the place. Clean it was not and I got a sudden urge after ordering to wash my hands. The bathroom too is nasty. So the food came. I am so happy to report that they serve Jarritos and Inca cola. So we had chicken fried rice, ribs, sautéed chicken, yellow rice and beans. The chicken fried rice was good, the ribs were just OK, the sautéed chicken was very tasty as was the yellow rice and beans. Washed it all down with Inca. It was explained to me this was a Peruvian quick serve. Having spent some serious time in Peru I couldn't say this place is at all Peruvian in taste but the food is good for the price.

The price being different from the menu definitely killed the mood. Should probably put the real price of the #1 on the board...

We asked which ceviche is their best and she recommended the Ceviche Mixto. It was ready just a few minutes after and we walked over to the beach to enjoy it. She packaged it nicely to make sure nothing spilled. And the crunchy corn was packaged separately so it wouldn't get soggy. Thoughtful! It was super delicious! Nice mix of different fish, it was citrusy, oniony, crunchy from the corn. Everything I wanted in a ceviche. Definitely recommend!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.
