    Lobster roll

So disappointed. This is a review for the Reds Kitchen food truck. By 6:00pm they only had 2 items left on the menu. $18.00 for a Lobster Roll and $9.00 for Mac and Cheese. Ordered the Lobster Roll apparently they were also out of buns as it came on a single slice of bread folded over and a bag of chips. No where near worth 18.00 and if they had told me they were out of buns I would have passed. Never again!

Hey guys! Just a quick followup on this fantastic restaurant. So we went back yesterday for lunch,…read moreand again,NO DISAPPOINTMENT! The way the food is cooked here immediately transports me to my childhood home, with mom cooking, yelling at us kids to stop lifting the lids off the pots. This food is phenomenal. The rice and beans, platanitos, tostones, all have such a flavor, and that special ingredient that only a mother has, love. I had the tostones, the wife had bistec empanizado and we took the croqueta sandwich home. Man o man, I dont think I've ever finished ameal without taking a to go container with me. The service is excellent, food is 10 stars! I genuinely feel as if I was in a family members home for lunch or dinner, not in a restaurant. This place should be on a tv show somewhere. I think ill nominate them for Guy's Triple D. Keep up the great work, see you next week. :)

Restrooms were very clean and I loved the art inside. Food was delicious, well seasoned, cuban cuisine. Portions were large and adequately priced. Everything was house made and according to the server, it was grandma's recipes. In fact, the entire family was working last night so please come support this small business. The only recommendations I have is to minimize the number of small plates on the main entrées. Your dishwasher will thank you. The ropa vieja was well seasoned, but it lacked the tomato sauce.

The host and servers were all so friendly, and they even took the time to play with my daughter, which made our visit even more enjoyable. They have a real happy hour with lower priced food and drink specials. I ordered the sangria, which was light, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. My quesadilla, came with rice and pinto beans. It was cheesy goodness and full of flavor. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a great dining experience. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

Found our new go-to place for Mexican cuisine in Port St. Lucie. Something different about this…read moreplace; an affordable upscale ambiance in details such as the murals, booth colors, flower-topped drinks, food presentations and even the glassware and tableware. The complimentary bi-color tortilla chips and fresh salsa were on the table just as we were seated. They were good and the salsa was refilled upon request. I ordered a Thirsty Thursday drink special ($10.99) skinny margarita in a salt rimmed glass. Tasteful and tastefully prepared. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Our attentive server answered questions and offered suggestions. My wife chose the chicken bowl with fresh herbs, Mexican rice and other vegetable toppings. They did not overload the bowl with chopped lettuce filler. The ingredients were balanced and fresh. The entree was excellent. My choice of birria tacos was standout. Three taco shells were softened by the birria au jus and presented on a board with a side of your choice of beans and rice and a consummé for dipping. Very delicious. I asked for a side of habanero sauce and that added another level of flavor and spice. The restaurant is large enough to handle groups in the open dining area and side tables, booths and a dining area near the bar and outside gave additional seating choices. Yes, Pepe's will be our first choice and with other locations in Florida (and one coming to Tradition), we won't be far from excellent Mexican cuisine.
