I recently had a disappointing experience when they changed their French fries, but I'm happy to say they've brought the original fries back and me too! Thank you so much. The crispy, delicious, unbreaded fries are back, and honestly, they make a big difference. I'm not a huge fan of sliced pork (I prefer pulled pork), but theirs is definitely palatable and have some flavor and moistir. Between the Southern atmosphere, local feel, and those delicious fries, I'm glad to be able to give them 4 stars again. It's nice to see a local restaurant listen to its customers and bring back something people clearly loved!

Now it was about an hour before they close so maybe that's where we went wrong but we walked in and everyone just kinda stared at us, they sat us we ordered quickly and when the food came I had to do a double take! It was so puny, and what sliced meat? Like lunch meat? I got the small sampler plate with ribs, turkey and pork, I was shocked it came out as thin sliced meat and was dry and no flavor, had to soak it in bbq sauce to get it down :( The rib was good and the coleslaw was too, but everything else was a no for me.

We tried the brisket and burnt ends and both were well-prepared with great smoke, seasoning, and so juicy and big portions. First time here but won't be my last. My husband ordered the brisket and I had the smoked oxtails with the Georgia peach BBQ sauce on the side. We did take out however the restaurant is very clean and the girl that took our order was very pleasant. Definitely will be back!

Sauce came on the side, but the meat had plenty of flavor all on its own. The sliced pork was delicious, too. The green beans were hot and seasoned just right, and those barbecue beans? Some of the best I've had in a long time. The cornbread nailed it: just enough sweetness to complement everything without overpowering it. The fried okra could've been a little crispier, but it was still a solid side. The waitresses kept checking in and made sure I was well taken care of. Great barbecue, friendly service, and a plate that didn't stand a chance!

We tried to go here 1st but unfortunately they are closed on Sundays This is one of those, should have asked for the price first moments. But it's just a sandwich right, so we didn't. Well when they brought our to go order and we realized it the sandwich was $22.00 was certainly a bit surprised. And they just assumed we would pay with a card; which we didn't do tacked on a 3% service fee, ok. We still were hopeful that it would still be worth it but when we got home we were not impressed by the amount of pastrami at all. The FLAVOR was very good but scores low on the value category. You would pay the same price at the legendary Katz Deli in NYC, BUT the difference is Katz literally loads nearly a pound of pastrami on each sandwich. But the major complaint is the service. The wait staff are a bit impatient and always have this I haven't had a cigarette in an hour so can you hurry up expression. As well a pushy. Totally get up selling as I got a Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, but it's done in a far less polished manner. But the food flavor has always been excellent, just a bit pricey, even in this higher inflation time.

The brisket was moist and tender and the sausage was good but a bit spicy. Wife liked that a lot. The bbq sauce they also make in house which seemed to be good. I would come back again!
