Holy smokes that was amazing! A great way to start off the new year by finding my new favorite bbq spot! When I say I have been searching for good brisket in south Florida for 5 years I truly mean it. This is the holy grail of all places for brisket. It had SO MUCH flavor, had the right amount of fat to give it that extra flavor SO JUICY and texture that brisket (should always have let's be real) the way it was smoked it didn't taste too much like smoke The smoke rings on the brisket are BEAUTIFUL I was in heaven when I opened up my box and saw what was inside the bbq they have there the sweet one! Is amazing also can't forget that The Mac and cheese was also really good, nice and cheesy and had a great flavor! The collard greens were also amazing! Personally I like a bit more vinegar on mine (but that's just personal) they had I think peppers in them it gave them that unique flavor it was so good! He had us try the potato salad and the seasoning on that was beyond me! Hands down some of the best potato salad I've ever tried I am excited to go back and see if they offer corn and other sides so I can try them out! Seriously I forgot the owners name but he went above and beyond and him and his staff had beyond exceptional customer service and were very personable. I really appreciate the hours of operation here, I am always craving bbq but most places are only open on the weekend/ I have trouble finding good brisket I'm not a huge fan of pork (but will try it!) The have a nice seating area and it's very aesthetic. All in all I will absolutely be returning to this place and telling everybody I know about it! Well done!! 10/10 read more

I found this spot on Yelp, when looking for Barbecue nearby. It was a food truck with a smoking station out back and a open air pavilion with picnic tables for seating. Plenty of parking. The pavilion is set far back enough from the road, which I appreciated! The person who took our orders was super friendly and personable and left us with good spirits. The brisket was pretty incredible - tender and deliciously seasoned, and I ordered it the way I like it - with crunchy slaw on top. I would definitely return for another! The sides were incredibly small portions, in what I usually see dipping sauces places in at other takeout places, so this was disappointing. read more

We ordered takeout tonight. We both had the brisket, candied yams and fried okra. Dinner also came with corn bread. Everything was really tasty! The corn bread was some of the best and most unique I've ever had. The crust was crispy and the inside was fluffy like cake. I brisket melted in your mouth. Went on a very rainy day - we were going to wait out the storm before heading up to order when a very sweet girl came up to our window - in the downpour - and asked if we wanted to order! It was our first time there so she ran back and grabbed a menu. We called in the order so she wouldn't have to run back out. Took our order and payment right over the phone! We have tried many BBQ places and will say this was literally the BEST brisket and ribs we've probably ever eaten! Sides are small but you can order larger - although not sure that's necessary! So much meat - brisket was flavorful and cooked to perfection and the ribs were fall off the bone tender with an amazing season - I didn't even use any sauce. Please keep in mind this is a food truck. So you order your food and off you go. There is plenty of parking so no problem there. The food and service were very good. The staff walked me through the menu and I ordered ribs sides and two sandwiches (Brisket and pulled pork). I must say all the food and sides were very tasty and the sweet sauce was just right. We ordered Brothers Q for our Labor Day party, and it was a HUGE hit! Everything was packaged perfectly for pick up, and it reheated beautifully--by the time guests arrived, it was ready to go and tasted just as fresh as if it came straight out of the smoker. Ended up ordering the brisket with Apple BBQ sauce, smoked Mac and Cheese, coleslaw and jalapeño cheese corn muffins. Totally amazing! The brisket was so amazingly tender. Let me preface this review with saying I think living in Texas for a few years might have changed my perception of what BBQ should be. Service was very friendly. We ordered a few items and he suggested ordering something as a platter to save a few bucks. I really appreciated that. He also verified what we purchased upon ordering and after we picked it up. The food was packaged well for take out, came with plastic utensils, and was warm. Now on to the food. The smoked Mac and cheese was good. Very cheesy. I didn't really pick up on it tasting smoked but I also don't know what I expected. Regardless it was solid Mac and cheese. The ribs and brisket were very tender, falling off the bone. I felt like the ribs could benefit from a little salt but that can be easily added to preference. I do feel like the ribs and brisket were also missing a bit of that smoke flavor. I really enjoyed the spicy bbq, which isn't really spicy but has a nice flavor. If you take it for what it is I think this is good southern style bbq. We catered our son's birthday party yesterday with the delicious food from Brothers Q! Everyone loved it! The food was super tasty and well cooked! The Mac n cheese and brisket were the stars! The baked beans and pulled were also a crowd pleaser. The prices are very reasonable. We had a group of 11 adults. We ordered 5 pounds of brisket and 3 pounds of pulled pork along with the Mac, collard green and baked beans! It was plenty. Everyone went home with a doggy bag! Without question, the best Brisket Sandwich I've had in the entire State of Florida. You can tell a lot about the quality of a BBQ spot based on how much sauce they put on their brisket. Brothers' puts it on the side and doesn't really push it...that screams how confident they are in their meat. Baked beans were outstanding. Potato Salad was perfect. We showed up as they were closing and asked if they could accommodate an order or not .. the two people there ended up bickering in front of us and made me feel super uncomfortable. The man agreed to fill the order and the woman yelled at him for taking more business - seemed overwhelmed and tired from the day. At that point I was committed however I just wanted to drive away. Near Perfect pork, brisket and ribs. The brisket had a hint of corned beef taste which was new for me. I know it's the same cut as corned beef but I never got a taste of it from a bbq brisket. Awesome brisket! Tender, tasty, balanced with the right amount of fat in between, and really-really good apple BBQ sauce that I even used for older pulled pork leftovers. Be aware: is like a truck stablished in a corner and more like to pick up to-go joint, not a sit-is sit-inside restaurant. It caught me by surprise because I didn't investigate before going. That being said the service was good, food quality was great and I paid $25.50 for the LB of brisket which ended up being about $33.00 with taxes and tip. Fantastic service, super kind taking my order over the phone 30 min before closing then making sure everything was packed perfectly with all the sauces. Everything was hot and delicious! First off, this place is very hard to find if you're not familiar with the Golden Gate area. I happened on them by chance. Secondly, my evaluation of their food: my mom had a ribs dinner with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. I had a brisket dinner with baked beans and slaw. For me, the brisket had WAY too much fat!! The actual meat was good, nice and tender. But for all the brisket they gave me (and it was a lot), it was like 75% FAT! With every bite I'm spitting out mounds of fat! My mom wasn't happy with the ribs; she said they needed to be cooked more. The sides were very disappointing, except for the baked beans. Mac & cheese and the coleslaw were the worst. The only good thing was their sauces, very tangy and innovative! Overall, I may give this place another try in the future, just in case they were having an off day. But I really don't see what all the fuss is about with the other reviews. Definitely NOT 5 stars.....at least not today. read more
