Burrito Supreme carne asada

First of all, we went online to see where we could grab a bite to eat in Indiantown, FL. Right away we saw the reviews for this El Rancho restaurant saying that it was not fancy inside, but we were pleased with the reviews. We too had the same opinion. Outside the front door were some specials listed on a chalkboard, and once inside, we were happy to see the booths and tables in good condition. The bar was very nice and the bartender and servers greeted us with a welcome "hello" and "feel free to sit wherever you like". They were friendly which helped a lot. We received the menu from the server, Jessica. She was polite and friendly. She took our drink order right away, and came back to answer any questions with the menu items. It is a Colombian restaurant with a great menu. We ordered the pulled pork, braised cabbage, and collard green dinner, as well as the burrito supreme with steak. We were delighted with the meals when they were served, and boy, were they ever delicious. Once again, Jessica is to be commended on her friendly and professional hospitality. My husband and I will definitely come back here again. The music was also very nice. I'm sure at night the place comes alive with a lot of people. Great restaurant. Highly recommend. Jessica works M-F.

Loaded nachos! We subbed out pulled pork.

Small town goodness!!! Mexican MEATS Southern! Homemade cooked nacho chips loaded with these amazing caramelized onions and peppers, nacho cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and fresh sliced avocados. The brisket plate came with choice if 2 sides. The braised cabbage was so delicious with the same sweet caramelized onions. I wish I had gotten a double order of this! The mac n cheese wasn't my favorite. Noodles were overcooked and it just didn't have much flavor. It looked like they only had one server and cook. The server was very friendly and pleasant. They were fairly busy and our food still came out in a short amount of time. Overall experience is a 5!! When in town I'll be back.

I was excited to try this place after reading reviews - so much so I made it, and the neighboring DuPuis wildlife management area, a stop on my Florida trip. The atmosphere was local and comfortable with a jukebox playing Latina and classic rock. I ordered the half rack of ribs dinner and my boyfriend ordered the brisket dinner. The ribs were superb - tender with a good flavor. The sauces provided took it up an extra notch. I ordered potato salad (standard) and rice and beans as sides. I was most impressed by their question of which rice (yellow or white) and which beans (pinto or black). The rice was perfectly al dente. Overall an excellent experience.

Wonderful folks and delicious food. Kelly was a good waitress work helpful suggestions. The owner found me a patron who would give me a ride to the coast. Highly recommended!

We went to check this place out because of the reviews and I must say it wasn't a disappointment. The exterior/interior doesn't look too appealing but the food was really good and for a reasonable price. Even the chicken wings were good. The only negative thing that stuck out was the horrible smelling restroom.

Great local hangout. Great food and service too! If you like BBQ, its a must stop! They have 4 pool tables and family style picinic tables.

When crossing the state I always try to stop by for some bbq. The pulled pork and brisket are awesome, and the collards are great.

Excellent brisket, collards and braised cabbage. You may never find it if you're not local, but it is worth the visit.

A 5pm reservation would make one think, quality service and a fresh hot kitchen! Well something certainly has changed in the last few months because we received neither! After explaining to our server how excited we were to be there for Mother's Day and how it was our parents first visit we placed an order of 3 appetizers (all more bland and less hot than they should be) - keep in mind the restaurant was mostly empty. As we waited for our entrees (an unusually long time) our server didn't check on drinks or water. When 3 of our 4 entrees did come out, we waited for the 4th as manners would expect. Five minutes, 10 minutes, still nothing. When I finally was able to flag down our server there was some excuse about "mixed up tickets" and that a "manager would be right over." 15 more minutes, all were done with their meals as my husband still awaited his entree. No manager, no server. Completely unacceptable. As my sweet husband cut into his filet, completely over cooked and rubbery, was supposed to be medium- he dare not send it back as everyone else was done and he felt terrible. To make matters worse, my father's fish, was loaded with blood line, ruining the flavor of the meat of the snapper. The least they could do was send a manager over. $200 later- (no alcohol) we will definitely never be back and you shouldn't waste your time or money either. There are plenty of other great restaurants around that will take far better care of you and your family.

We used to really enjoy Hooked, but unfortunately this visit was a letdown…read more From the start, the bartender (Olivia) came across very cold--no smile, no welcoming energy, just going through the motions. Service felt flat the entire time. I specifically asked for very light ice in my drink and even said I didn't care if the glass wasn't full. The drink still came out packed with ice, and I had to ask for a separate cup and spoon to fix it myself--which shouldn't happen. What really stood out was the lack of attention. We were there for about 35 minutes, and not once did she come back to check on us--no "How is everything?" and no offer for another drink. Meanwhile, she spent more time in the back talking with a coworker than actually servicing her customers. There was also confusion when we asked for the check, which just added to the overall disorganization. What's disappointing is that this place used to have a much better vibe--staff like Denise made it feel welcoming and enjoyable. That's clearly changed. The new staff just doesn't bring the same level of service or personality. The food and location still have potential, but service makes or breaks a place--and right now, it's missing. "Service isn't just part of the experience--it is the experience."

Very friendly and down to earth and really helped to elevate the overall dine-in experience, on top of that she checked in on us throughout to make sure we had everything we needed For a drink, I got a cosmopolitan and it was solid, would definitely get it again and recommend based on my experience I tried the Enforcers cheesesteak this time which came with white american cheese and onion, I opted out of the mushrooms, and it was delicious! I loved it, it was flavored really well and I enjoyed the american cheese, it went so good with the sandwich and the bread was great! Soft and fresh, I also loved the Mayo on the side as it enhances the creaminess of the cheese, I would 100% get this again I had the Onion Rings and you guessed it, also great, batter seasoned perfectly, hot & crispy, would recommend if you like onion rings I was able to try the pub fries again and they were as perfect as the first time and absolutely worth the up-charge any day! Please try if you go, you won't be disappointed I'm sure LOVE this place! Thanks again Hideaways!

Speakeasy or Sportsbar?…read more This is a sports bar with a speakeasy theme. Came here with a couple friends we sat at the long red velvet couch that gave this place a retro 70's vibe. There were portraits of wooden rum barrels on the walls in the dimly lit front room. Happy Hour was from 4p - 7p and we took advantage of the Buy 1 get 1 Deal. The big burger smothered with sautéed onions was spectacular. The gender assigned bathroom was clean with gray porcelain tile floors and a granite counter top over a deep metal sink.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival and swiftly escorted to our table, which offered a lovely view of the bar area and a musician playing genuinely cool, soulful music. The energy in the room was vibrant, welcoming, and effortlessly chic -- the kind of atmosphere that immediately lets you know you're somewhere special. Our server, Lizzie, was an absolute standout. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, with such a bright and genuine spirit. Her guidance through the menu was thoughtful and spot-on, and she truly elevated the entire dining experience. We began with the specialty oysters and the tuna poke. The tuna was clearly sushi-grade and incredibly fresh, served with house-made wonton chips that were nothing short of outstanding. The oysters were beautifully presented and came with a phenomenal variety of accompaniments that complemented them perfectly. For entrées, we chose the sweet potato-crusted grouper with truffle fries and plantains, as well as the crusted snapper served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Both dishes were expertly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully plated. I must also note that the portion size of the fresh Florida fish was incredibly generous -- easily enough to feed two people, which was a wonderful surprise and tremendous value. We also requested a customized margarita, and the bartender nailed it -- perfectly balanced and exactly what we had in mind. From the ambiance to the service, cocktails, and exceptional food, Sophia's delivered a truly memorable dining experience. We left impressed, happy, and already planning our return. This is a gem in Hobe Sound, and we will absolutely be back.
