First and foremost, five stars goes to Miss Carissa at the drive-through. Her customer service was outstanding and without a doubt the best service that I've experienced at a drive-thru. I hadn't been here since they switched from Bono's. I ordered the fried Mahi. It was solid, but next time I have to come back and try their ribs!

While recently moving to the area from Texas, I know finding good BBQ might be a challenge. This location was recommended and we give them a try this week. The service was quick and friendly. We started with some hush puppies and the sauce that came with them was great. We had a meat bowl with mashed potatoes and lean brisket with a couple sides. Both were OK. Here's the tough part and I know this might be fine for here. The brisket was dry. I am use to it being juicy and super tender. This brisket just wasn't like that. Everything else was great and I would go back try the chicken. Enjoy!

Finally tried this place today, and found it rather good. I had the pulled pork sandwich (hog sized, which to me was normal size) and it had a very good smokey flavor which i totally enjoyed, had baked sweet potato as a side. My friend had the Alabama brisket sandwich and he enjoyed that also. The waitress was attentive and very nice. This place has a small bar and was typical feeling barbecue restaurant. I do recommend you give it a try.

Very good lunch! We ordered the pork quesadillas. Excellent! Pulled pork sandwich was very good too . Mac cheese was very good We'll Definitely be back to try other items I noticed how clean the whole place was.The service was great! 10/10 for cleanliness and flavor.

First time trying this place and it wasn't too bad. Good amount of searing, nice place, and has a salad bar. My party had a few issues with cold food-things that shouldn't have been like the Monday meatloaf and the soup and chili (had to ask them to microwave/heat up). We also had a bit of an issue with time, it took nearly an hour to get our food. We noticed a table that was seated at the same time as us ordered, ate, and left before we even got our food. Prices are about average for bbq. I got the pulled pork dinner and enjoyed it, very tender and food flavor but as bbq does tend to do, kept tasting it for the rest of the day lol. I'd say this place is worth a try, may just be hit or miss.

Sweet Southern Smoke is my local go-to for BBQ, and it never disappoints! The famous taters are my absolute favorite, especially with that incredible BBQ sauce--always a hit. This time, I ordered the Pick Two Combo with brisket and ribs, and both were mouth-wateringly delicious. The cinnamon butter on the toast is another highlight; it never fails to add that perfect touch of sweetness to the meal. If you're in the area and craving some top-notch BBQ, Sweet Southern Smoke is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend! And next time I'll check out their salad bar I saw quite a few people going up there to order from it.

I'm glad we finally took the time to try Sweet Smoke! Our waitress was very sweet and personable! The .99¢ wing special was great! We had many helpings of different flavors. Our favorite was the hickory red sweet followed by the honey garlic! I also tried the pulled pork sandwich, it was a bit dry, but there were 3 of their bbq sauces available on the table that made the sandwich very enjoyable! I upgraded my side to the corn nuggets.... YUM. Perfect crispiness and soft and just yummy! Their drinks also did not disappoint. Our group is not big drinkers but they kept the blue lemonades coming, they were so good. I also had a Paloma and I would definitely get that again!

We started out with a chocolate martini & a Whispering Angel Rose. Both were refreshing and very celebratory for my friends birthday. Since it was lunch, we went straight to entrees. My husband had the Strawberry Field salad with shrimp. Beautifully crisp and delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly even if the salad should have had less dressing. The birthday girl had the short rib grilled cheese which looked exactly like the pictures. She managed to eat the whole thing. I had the steamed clams. The presentation was totally unexpected. It had a pizza dough topper that was puffed up with the clams, linguica & broth nice and steamy underneath. It was an amazing preparation and the dough helped tame some of the spiciness from the linguica. We all said we would come back. I would give this restaurant a solid 4.5 stars as the refill of our water was a big sluggish. Since you cannot rate in 1/2 star increments, I gave it a 5.

It ended up being a great find! The restaurant is spacious with huge windows overlooking the water, which I absolutely loved. It was much too hot to sit outside, so we enjoyed the view from an inside table. We decided to split the steamed clams (without the sausage) and a lobster bisque for lunch. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The clams were served inside a bread-like pastry. My husband especially enjoyed that part, while I skipped the bread and dug right into the clams--they were fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and just as good. One unexpected bit of entertainment came from the couple seated next to us. It sounded like they were on a first date, and while I certainly wasn't trying to eavesdrop, they were talking so loudly it was impossible not to overhear! They seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it added a lighthearted touch to our lunch. Hope springs eternal! Overall, I was very happy with both our meal and the beautiful waterfront setting. I'd definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through Stuart. The only thing that gave me pause was the dinner menu, which looked a bit pricey, but for lunch this was a very enjoyable stop. You don't need a reservation for lunch so that was a plus. Sometimes you just want to go with the flow, and that is just what we did!

If you're looking for real southern diner food, this is one of the best options in town. It can be busy, and there is sometimes a short wait. They do turn tables pretty fast so don't stress too much! The staff are friendly and the food is comforting. I got a half order of biscuits and gravy and a side of grits. Plenty of food, the grits are creamy and the sausage gravy tastes like home. The fries were clearly made in house. They had a really cool texture, light, airy, almost fluffy. Hard to describe but different in a really good way and the flavor backed it up. You can seat yourself anywhere for lunch under the big grass roof or under some accompanying umbrella tables. Servers came by quickly and were attentive to order details. Drink wise I got a classic Arnold Palmer for one visit, and a Virgin pina colada for the other. Both were good! I like my Arny P less sweet, and I love my pina coladas with a good amount of pineapple. For lunch the first time I got the Philly with the pineapple slaw, which is really something different compared to wherever else you can get a Philly. There wasn't a lot of slaw on my sandwich but it was just enough to brighten up the sandwich. The second time I got the chicken Philly, which has your classic fixings just with chicken instead. Fries on the side both times are delicious! Nice and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. One standout memory I have is that my mom wanted a loaded fries that was more vegetable than meat which isn't on the menu. However, they were able to accommodate this and delivered very well to her liking! I remember when Philly Down South was just the food truck and a couple of umbrella tables.
