Went last night with friend who never never been. It was good we had happy hour cocktails, app of crispy tuna. Dinner 2 of us had the fish and chips; 2 generous filets very lightly coated fried crisp, with crisp not greasy fries! The tartar sauce was really good, & I'm kinda snooty abt tartar sauce. Husb had the burger he loves that! Zack provided fantastic service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is nice casual. Outside bar and seats[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We enjoyed!! Sadly I musta been ravenous cause I forgot pics!‍

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time enjoying this beautifully decorated restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the little bouquet of fresh flowers on the table - nice touch![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Our server Nick was very professional and informative. The kids' chicken tenders smelled so good! Beef tallow fries are delicious. Best burger I've had in a while. Clam chowder & salad were really tasty as well. My only complaint is that prices online do not reflect current menu prices. This is a huge pet peeve. Otherwise a good experience. Will return!

Food extraordinary, we had the spicy rigatoni with added Parmesan, crusted chicken and shrimp. Patty both delicious couldn't be any better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice friendly staff good service lean surroundings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] generous proportions make reservations.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We came in around 10:30am for brunch and loved the atmosphere. It had a great vibe and super friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu was a bit limited, especially for picky eaters, but we made it work. I had the avocado toast, which was a little soggy, but still tasty overall. The breakfast burrito, though, was phenomenal--definitely the standout. Would come back for the vibe and that burrito alone!

Have had mixed experiences here in the past, but my most recent meal was really good! Seems like they have traded out some of the menu items over time. Service was attentive and fast, especially considering we had a fairly big group. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai, which I will say is much more of a Thai Red Curry dish than a Pad Thai. It was creamy and did not have the flavors of traditional Pad Thai. However - I still REALLY enjoyed this dish and would order it again! The waiter said they recently switched it from a rice base to rice noodles, and they were cooked well.

Everything was delicious. Loved the pasta the most. I also had an espresso martini and it was great!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great all around experience, atmosphere, and the most pleasant staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Servers eager to help even though they weren't assigned to our table. Server Callum was totally amazing and helpful, owner Ron came over and offered dessert suggestions then ended up letting us try a bite of his Dubai chocolate which was amazing. We got chowder that was loaded with clams and an avocado appetizer that was out of this world. The prosciutto pizza and a crispy tuna appetizer. Also met the manager Crystal who was super friendly and enthusiastic, glad to hear how happy we were. Will definitely be back!

Love this place! It has expanded so there is even more room. They have taken over the space that was previously occupied by Mero Mero.. so their bar is inside and outside, more room and very enjoyable to sit outside on a cool evening. I enjoy dining inside however. Very pretty side, they kept the tile floors which look very nice and you can see the action in the kitchen. We brought our own bottle of wine ($20 corkage fee). We ordered the bread board which had a small load of tasty bread, honey butter, wonderful pimento cheese and pork belly. We were both very pleased with this. My husband ordered the veal bolognese which he said was very good. I had the scallops which were excellent. Service could have been a little better but overall it is still one of our very favorite places in Stuart.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a delightful atmosphere to have dinner with friends![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Delicious appetizers - try the bread board with the amazing bacon, follow with delicious entrées and top it all off with a chocolate molten s'mores cake especially chocolaty when accompanied by a smooth Eagle Rare whiskey. Great happy hour prices and yummy food! For the foodies... The bread board comes with delicious honey butter, candied bacon, and a tasty pimento cheese spread. The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful. It was served with tomato, potato, pepperoni, and what tasted like a Sriracha sauce with greens and was so well balanced. The Korean wings, a.k.a. ribs were tender with a sweet sticky spicy sauce.

We started out with a chocolate martini & a Whispering Angel Rose. Both were refreshing and very celebratory for my friends birthday. Since it was lunch, we went straight to entrees. My husband had the Strawberry Field salad with shrimp. Beautifully crisp and delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly even if the salad should have had less dressing. The birthday girl had the short rib grilled cheese which looked exactly like the pictures. She managed to eat the whole thing. I had the steamed clams. The presentation was totally unexpected. It had a pizza dough topper that was puffed up with the clams, linguica & broth nice and steamy underneath. It was an amazing preparation and the dough helped tame some of the spiciness from the linguica. We all said we would come back. I would give this restaurant a solid 4.5 stars as the refill of our water was a big sluggish. Since you cannot rate in 1/2 star increments, I gave it a 5.

It ended up being a great find! The restaurant is spacious with huge windows overlooking the water, which I absolutely loved. It was much too hot to sit outside, so we enjoyed the view from an inside table. We decided to split the steamed clams (without the sausage) and a lobster bisque for lunch. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The clams were served inside a bread-like pastry. My husband especially enjoyed that part, while I skipped the bread and dug right into the clams--they were fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and just as good. One unexpected bit of entertainment came from the couple seated next to us. It sounded like they were on a first date, and while I certainly wasn't trying to eavesdrop, they were talking so loudly it was impossible not to overhear! They seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it added a lighthearted touch to our lunch. Hope springs eternal! Overall, I was very happy with both our meal and the beautiful waterfront setting. I'd definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through Stuart. The only thing that gave me pause was the dinner menu, which looked a bit pricey, but for lunch this was a very enjoyable stop. You don't need a reservation for lunch so that was a plus. Sometimes you just want to go with the flow, and that is just what we did!

If you're looking for real southern diner food, this is one of the best options in town. It can be busy, and there is sometimes a short wait. They do turn tables pretty fast so don't stress too much! The staff are friendly and the food is comforting. I got a half order of biscuits and gravy and a side of grits. Plenty of food, the grits are creamy and the sausage gravy tastes like home. You can seat yourself anywhere for lunch under the big grass roof or under some accompanying umbrella tables. Servers came by quickly and were attentive to order details. Drink wise I got a classic Arnold Palmer for one visit, and a Virgin pina colada for the other. Both were good! I like my Arny P less sweet, and I love my pina coladas with a good amount of pineapple. For lunch the first time I got the Philly with the pineapple slaw, which is really something different compared to wherever else you can get a Philly. There wasn't a lot of slaw on my sandwich but it was just enough to brighten up the sandwich. The second time I got the chicken Philly, which has your classic fixings just with chicken instead. Fries on the side both times are delicious! Nice and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. One standout memory I have is that my mom wanted a loaded fries that was more vegetable than meat which isn't on the menu. However, they were able to accommodate this and delivered very well to her liking! I remember when Philly Down South was just the food truck and a couple of umbrella tables. My mom says that every time she visits Philly Down South, it seems to get a little larger. I love the current grass hut ambiance that even features a stage for some live music! In my opinion, they should be the prime dining option at Stuart beach. Bathrooms for Philly Down South are really the Elliot Museum's, so make sure to bring proper coverups and footwear if you're coming from the beach. Can't wait to come again when I next visit Stuart!
