Yelp directed me to Smallcakes when I did a search while visiting family nearby. I took a chance to see if gluten free cupcakes were available. When I entered Smallcakes, a pleasant young lady welcomed me in and said yes, they had gluten free cupcakes in the store when I asked. She showed me the selection of at least a dozen icing flavor. All of them looked excellent. I picked Peanut Butter Cup and Red Velvet (cream cheese flavored). So far I've eaten the Red Velvet cupcake. The vanilla cake was a little too sweet for me but the cream cheese frosting was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The shop also offers milkshakes, ice cream, and custom made cakes if your sweet tooth desires something other than a cupcake! read more

Ordered a cake and cupcakes for my daughters first birthday party, and it came out perfect! My daughter is obsessed with Ms.Rachel, and it was hard to find someone who can do a Ms. Rachel theme cake. These cupcakes are pretty good! Some flavors are better than others but that's to be expected. The prices are a little high which sucks (I'm used to the Sweet By Holly prices) so I don't indulge in them very often. If you want to try more flavors for the price get the variety box if you can. It didn't disappoint. read more

Beware of signing up for delivery through Grub Hub. I ordered cupcakes, and they were picked up at Smallcakes, but were never delivered. Grub Hub says their system auto-cancelled the order because there was no driver to pick them up - which is very strange since Smallcakes has record of them being picked up. No fault of Smallcakes, I'm sure they were delicious and beautiful ... hope the Grub Hub driver enjoyed them. read more

We used Smallcakes Stuart for our wedding cake last November. I knew I wanted a cupcake tower and my family loves the delicious cupcakes at Smallcakes, so I reached out to see if they could create one for me. Rhett immediately emailed me back, then scheduled a phone call to see what I wanted specifically for my wedding tower. It was really fun purchasing a variety of mini cupcakes and trying them out with our family and friends to find favorites to use for our wedding. I emailed Rhett our choices and he stayed in contact with me until the big day. Rhett was always easy to contact if I had questions or changes and the price for the tower, cake,delivery and set up was very affordable. Rhett delivered and set up the cupcake tower on time and added ribbon decoration to match my decor. He improvised with the signs I created to make a gorgeous end result. If you want melt in your mouth delicious cupcakes with inventive and inspired topping & icings...look no further. Super friendly staff and management serving quality desserts in a very clean and upbeat store. My brother and I were having lunch in this plaza yesterday and noticed SmallCakes and thankfully stopped in to check it out. We were so impressed! We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The staff was extremely friendly! They offered suggestions and let us try some samples of ice cream. The store itself is so cute on the inside I loved it! Now for the good part. Best cupcake in town ! Every bite is worth the extra time at the gym. The cake is moist and frosting decadent . I'm a huge chocolate fan but also got their seasonal cupcake drizzled in caramel (can't remember the name ) and it was perfection. Glad I happened to stop by and definitely will be back . Did you know you can also do a special order and get things like cake pops, cake-sicles (think popsicle made of cake), macarons, and so many other options? I am in the midst of planning a party and reached out to inquire, not only was the response so quick and thorough, but she was also extremely helpful. Just left our favorite place to satisfy a guilty sweet pleasure. Poor service, empty of cupcakes. I understand when it's Saturday you want to run down inventory but at least own it. Also/ - when asked if the pecan pie cakes we'd had not long ago were seasonal she shared they had never offered them. Wow. read more

WOW...this place is a dream! The owner could not have been sweeter (pun intended), and the place was a veritable wonderland of confections and creams, all made onsite...we shared a lemon cupcake and some ice cream. Highly recommend, but unless your kid is well-behaved, please leave them at home! That was the only down-side to our visit. A mother and grandmother pandered to their brat who could not decide what he wanted and when told that he had to make a decision or would get nothing, he threw a tantrum, even kicking at the storefront's glass door. The owner was very understanding...what could she do? We were ready to kick them all out, but instead, we left! read more

I love this place. When I have a sweet tooth this is the place I go too. The girl at the register is super friendly and her recommendations never fail. Their cupcakes are so moist and delicious. Whenever I am in Stuart or PSL I stop at small cakes. Their cupcakes are always fresh and tasty. I eat a lot of different cupcakes And I'm hear to tell you these are some my favorite in south Florida. The icing isn't to sweet. I only wish they had more that had a filling in the inside. The ice cream is the bomb! It's homemade and is very flavorful. This place is a must try for sure. My favorite cupcake is at Christmas time when the hot chocolate is available :) read more

Y U M M Y !!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT Lots of different cupcake choices to chose from. Definitely FRESH and HOMEMADE. We got a s' mores and a lemon drop cupcake, both were decadent. The ice cream was A M A Z I N G , so creamy and delicious. We got a 24 carrot, which is a carrot cake ice cream, and also a maple bacon cheesecake ice cream, BOTH were absolutely delicious. To top it off , the service was fantastic. The girl who assisted us was very helpful in describing all the different cupcake and ice cream flavors. Also, she was very professional and very friendly. Cupcakes themselves are just one or two flavors...All they do is change the icing. They charge a lot of money for a cup cake. Three or four dollars is very high. Some almost seven dollars. They have only a few vareties as well.. I bought two amost 5 dollars..never go back. read more

They only have gluten free cupcakes on the "weekend". But I went today (Sunday) and they now say they only have them on Friday and Saturday. I guess gluten free people are only served on certain days. Not sure, because still haven't been able to obtain one. Really a pain in the neck for us with food allergies. Well at least I'm annoyed enough now to get over my cupcake craving. Won't try to go back again. read more

I took my boys here for a little mommy sons date. They really enjoyed the cupcakes. The atmosphere was fun and well decorated. It was also extremely clean. I wish they had more of a selection, but for it to be baked daily, I can completely understand. My favorite was the birthday cake cupcake. I would love to see combos. read more

We love to stop in and get some delicious cupcakes on the spur of the moment, just as my daughter did this afternoon! They always have an amazing selection and the cupcakes are very tasty and exceptionally moist, I can't imagine anyone not liking their cupcakes. Today, however, was the exception! When my daughter and grandson stopped in for a small personal reward, they asked what the sales person's favorite flavor was and were told that he/she didn't like the cupcakes and really couldn't recommend any specific flavor. I'm not sure, but if I had someone working for me that didn't like the product, especially food, I don't think they would be working for me very long. Good thing is, SmallCakes taste, quality and appearance stands on its own, they don't need to have the hired help's endorsement. We will be back! read more

Went twice. Coffee, quiche pretty good. Breakfast sandwiches are pre-made so if you eliminate the meat, they just remove it before cooking. Came back for happy hour. Red wine served very refrigerated. Weird. Pizza toppings were cold ..not cool..Cold. Food for 2 of us was served with 1 set of utensils & had to ask for another. No biggie but c'mon. Servers, who I always treat with great respect, were not especially friendly either time. Don't think I'll go a third time

I wanted to try a Chai Latte for the first time (I know, right?) but need to avoid sugar. This should have been the part where she told me it wasn't actual Chai tea but a processed concentrate loaded with sugar. I obvi couldn't finish it once I discovered the sugar content, but on the upside now I know that most coffee shops serving "Chai" anything are actually using a syrup, not the actual tea. Even with the sugar mishap the place is darling and we will definitely return whenever we visit the Stuart/Jensen Beach area. The divorce lawyer next door had a hilarious sign we couldn't resist - I wonder if they're always this funny? We'll check it out next time - although I think I'll stick to a plain Latte with almond milk.

My "review" is more of a "complaint" because of the same rude employee that rolls her eyes, plays rap music in the store, has a nasty attitude every time me or my husband stop in. We love small cakes and we've tried to avoid going in when this particular employee is working but we promise our kids cupcakes as a reward from their favorite place for doing well in school or for other good behavior and its disappointing when we have to go somewhere else and break that promise because we don't want to deal with such a bad attitude and influence from this girl. Management whoever the girl with pale skin and black curly hair you have working on Sunday and Monday evenings please evaluate her. We've been having an issue with this for months this is our second complaint. Going to another SmallCakes location just is not practical for us we live close by and want to continue to enjoy our Sunday/ Monday evening desert without poor customer service. read more

Impressive! We have a picky family who like different kinds of cake. Whenever I am having a special gathering I love going to Smallcakes to get a delicious mix of beautiful cupcakes! I always get at least a dozen because it's a great deal and that allows me to eat one or two before I present them at the party. Their flavor mixtures are fabulous! read more

Their cupcakes are very pricey. I got two cupcakes, $5 each. That's a lot of money for a piece of pastry with sugar icing. My wife and I shared those 2 cupcakes. They were ok but way too sweet. She got a horrible headache from sugar shock afterwards. No more smallCakes for us. read more

Location sits in front of Best Buy and shares its footprint with Starbucks. They offer paper towels and plastic knives and will not cut cookies if requested. Average 4-5 bucks per cookie and also offer multi pacs.
