When I entered Smallcakes, a pleasant young lady welcomed me in and said yes, they had gluten free cupcakes in the store when I asked. She showed me the selection of at least a dozen icing flavor. All of them looked excellent. I picked Peanut Butter Cup and Red Velvet (cream cheese flavored). So far I've eaten the Red Velvet cupcake. The vanilla cake was a little too sweet for me but the cream cheese frosting was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. These cupcakes are pretty good! Some flavors are better than others but that's to be expected. The prices are a little high which sucks (I'm used to the Sweet By Holly prices) so I don't indulge in them very often. If you want to try more flavors for the price get the variety box if you can. Beware of signing up for delivery through Grub Hub. I ordered cupcakes, and they were picked up at Smallcakes, but were never delivered. Grub Hub says their system auto-cancelled the order because there was no driver to pick them up - which is very strange since Smallcakes has record of them being picked up. I knew I wanted a cupcake tower and my family loves the delicious cupcakes at Smallcakes, so I reached out to see if they could create one for me. Rhett immediately emailed me back, then scheduled a phone call to see what I wanted specifically for my wedding tower. It was really fun purchasing a variety of mini cupcakes and trying them out with our family and friends to find favorites to use for our wedding. I emailed Rhett our choices and he stayed in contact with me until the big day. Rhett was always easy to contact if I had questions or changes and the price for the tower, cake,delivery and set up was very affordable. Rhett delivered and set up the cupcake tower on time and added ribbon decoration to match my decor. He improvised with the signs I created to make a gorgeous end result. Highly recommend, but unless your kid is well-behaved, please leave them at home! That was the only down-side to our visit. A mother and grandmother pandered to their brat who could not decide what he wanted and when told that he had to make a decision or would get nothing, he threw a tantrum, even kicking at the storefront's glass door. I eat a lot of different cupcakes And I'm hear to tell you these are some my favorite in south Florida. The icing isn't to sweet. I only wish they had more that had a filling in the inside. They always have an amazing selection and the cupcakes are very tasty and exceptionally moist, I can't imagine anyone not liking their cupcakes. Today, however, was the exception! When my daughter and grandson stopped in for a small personal reward, they asked what the sales person's favorite flavor was and were told that he/she didn't like the cupcakes and really couldn't recommend any specific flavor.
