The pancakes were great and humongous (hint: if your order pancakes, order the short stack). The sausage were plump diner style sausage with a hint of spiciness. So why only four stars? Two reasons caused them to lose a star (1) they only offered Earl Grey tea. No English Breakfast. I'm always amazed when a restaurant doesn't stock an item that costs little and isn't perishable like English Breakfast (black tea). They'll tell you it's the same as black tea but to a tea drinker that's just not true. (2) as a single diner, I always use my iPad and Jans is one of the few breakfast places that doesn't offer wifi! For a single diner or someone intent on taking care of business when grabbing a bite to eat, this is a major issue. It will cause me to mark Hans off my breakfast spots to eat at list.
