An inviting and cute little bakery with tasty goodies. We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon without realizing they were closing in a few minutes. Marissa gave us a warm greeting and was very welcoming. Wonderful service is always appreciated, as is freshly baked dessert. The berry chocolate croissant was a standout, as it was fresh, flakey and absolutely delicious. Nestled on a side street one block from the center of town, this bakery is worth a stop.

Sucre is an awesome little gem off the beaten path of downtown Stuart. You can smell the fresh baked goods from the street as you approach this quaint authentic French bakery. While the inside is small and has no available seating, there are plenty of spots outside to enjoy your sandwich, pastry, and coffee. The service is friendly and staff is very helpful and willing to walk you through their selection and offer great suggestions.

Ten stars if I could! An adorable place with real French style baked goods. Croissants are absolutely the best! Good thing we don't live too close but would consider moving here just to eat here more often!

Hidden, little gem. Decided to try this place based upon a recommendation from our foodie friends... what an experience. Patrick greeted us with his wisdom of the remaining selections... Here's what we tried; 2 lemon curd twists, flourless peanut cookie, croissant, Belgian chocolate raspberry croissant, mini carrot cake and oat blueberry bar! ALL WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Def highly recommended to give this place a try if you enjoy fabulous French pastry, coffees and quiche

New assortments tried for new recs! I didn't love the berry almond croissants. The muffins were great, as was the pecan sticky bun.

Adored this little place! If we didnt have a recommendation from a friend we may have passed it by- prices are very affordable and the selection was amazing for all taste buds. The pecan pie brownie was so unique and a great recommendation from the staff helping us.

I came here at 11am on 4th of July. They were pretty much out of product due to an unexpectedly busy morning. I was able to get a basic croissant. The croissant was flaky but the lamination and butter flavor lacked the plugra buttery taste and texture i look for in a good croissant. While not meeting my expectations, I would say it is one of the better croissants in Stuart. The outdoor seating area has much to be desired...doesn't exactly remind me of a "European cafe" as some reviewers say but it works.

Lovely authentic French baked goods!! Upon my first visit, I was overwhelmed by the plentiful delicious options, but I was able to settle on four yummy choices to share with my family. I must say, the cinnamon roll cruffin was my absolute favorite! Something about the soft flaky layers of cinnamon sugar goodness that makes me never want a regular cinnamon roll again.

Their selection of fresh baked muffins is awesome. I love the cranberry one!

The area isn't the nicest, but once you step inside, you completely forget about it. The place is very clean, cozy, and simple. The staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell the coffee is good quality, and the pastries are made in-house -- which is a big plus, since you can actually see the kitchen equipment and how clean everything is. The croissants are huge; we tried the chocolate one -- delicious dough and plenty of filling. The strawberry cheese Danish was another great choice. The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. It's definitely on my list to return. Next time, it'll be for lunch. By the way, they have a very interesting menu with Hungarian options, some elevated American variations, and several Italian dishes.

Back to my review. The tea party bakery is a cute little store with a few inside tables and a couple of outside tables. It offers tea (obviously) coffee, cappuccinos and lattes, along with an assortment of cakes and cookies and a few breakfast items. I ordered my usual black tea latte, and the girl behind the counter provided me with a couple of different options for English breakfast tea. Both seemed interesting and the one I selected was great. She also did not hesitate when I asked for a "latte" and honey. Initially, I wanted a croissant. However, they were out of croissants, (except for a strawberry and egg croissant). Missing my chance to find a good croissant in South Florida, I chose an orange chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was excellent, the tea was spot on, and the service was exactly what you'd expected at a tiny tea house... personal and friendly. The bottom line has always with my reviews is my "customer so what". Would I come back again? The answer is... yes. It's not often you'll find a traditional tearoom in South Florida. If you like a traditional tea house with their cute little china cups, assortment of pastries and cookies, traditional "tearoom" ambience and personalized service, this place is one you will enjoy.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the guys behind the counter with their thick New York accents--it instantly sets the tone. The selection is incredible, with everything from large balls of freshly made mozzarella to eggplant, rice balls, and so many other classic Italian favorites. They do offer subs, but one of the best parts is being able to build your own at home--they'll happily slice up a pound of whatever cold cuts you choose. I was also pleasantly surprised to find imported olive oil straight from Sicily for $25, which I couldn't pass up. Fair warning: it's very easy to get carried away here. Just standing there, taking in all the options, you'll likely walk out with way more than you planned--but it's completely worth it. I ended up making my own sandwich using homemade sourdough from a local shop down the street, and the combination was perfect. Supporting locally owned businesses like this makes the experience even better. You get quality, authenticity, and real ingredients--something you just don't find with big chain stores.
