I am assuming you can not go 45 minutes before they close because they didn't care to make the custards with the ingredients on the menu. Definitely a different ice cream experience. They have 3 base flavors; chocolate, vanilla and the flavor of the week. You choose from a variety of mix in's to create your own concoction or choose one of their specialty creations. It's not soft serve but rather a scoopable custard. My husband had the Grasshopper and he loved it. I was grateful they had non dairy options and chose a pint of the vanilla oat milk custard topped with macadamias. They cannot blend pints but will blend their single serving non dairy cups from the freezer section. The pint was frozen solid so, if you intend to eat it there, ask the staff to microwave it for 30 seconds to soften it. I wish there was a Whits in Philly. Great frozen custard, service with a smile. Their assortment of flavors is good. Apparently it is made on site every day, so whether or not this affects quality I don't know, but it's cool. The staff must work hard before opening making the product. So I always tip them extra. Mostly takeout but a nice small indoor area with tables and chairs. There is further seating outside in a courtyard sort of area. I haven't been there in quite a long time because I am on a diet and no longer eating sugar, but if I were going to have a cheat day, Whit's would figure into it for sure. When you must indulge, I cannot think of a better place. On our first trip I ordered chocolate in a cup which I had outside and my spouse had butterfinger. I cringe only because it's so sweet. But hey, to each their own. We came home with three quarts of a triple chocolate concoction that after trying I gave to my sister to take home. The other quart was, you guessed it, butterfinger. Oh, and the third was a flavor called lemon cake. A miss for me. Sister got that too. Next trip I was brought out vanilla custard with hot fudge. It was good but I was hoping to try their famous vanilla custard plain so I could really taste it. But hold on, it was given me, so I wasn't going to complain. We did go home with a quart of vanilla, a pint of regular chocolate and a quart of, you guessed it, butterfinger. They're opening a location in Port St Lucie soon. We'll be there! I guess we'll be getting butterfinger. LOL read more

Pretty darn creamy and darn right good. Why not give all 5 stars you might ask? The owner had two young workers, one young lady and one young man. The young lady knew her stuff and her menu, but the young man kept standing in front of the menu board. This place offers lots of different Sundays and mixes that they create with the frozen custard. I never could figure out the menu because the young man never would move out of the way. As a result, I ordered what I could see and was not let down. But I just wished he got the clue when I made several suggestions. I mention this to the owner after we both got our order, she just told me he was new. But from my customer perspective, she should have given him the clue while the customers find the store. Maybe next time will be better! read more
