The BLT on a croissant? Buttery, flaky croissant, thick smoky bacon, fat juicy tomato slices - typically I wouid never order a BLT on a croissant, but I went with Carol's (the manager) recommendation and it slapped! Hard. 11/10 My wife ordered the Dubai chocolate croissant and let's just say: it flexed harder than Schwarzenegger in his prime. Layers so airy they almost levitate. Smooth dark chocolate and pistachio. It's sweeeeet. If you like dubai chocolate style creations - this is otherworldly. I asked my wife what score she gives it. She didn't skip a beat. "Numbers are insufficient for that masterpiece." There ya have it! We swing by when we can for their sourdough loaf which are always 10/10. A huge shoutout to Carol, the manager. She's not just helpful - she's encyclopedic. Ask her what's in a pastry, what's not, what pairs best with coffee - she'll walk you through like your own pastry tour guide, always kind, always thorough. It's tiny, yes - you'll eat outside, in your car, or at home. But trust me, when the food hits this level, location doesn't matter. Sucre is a heavyweight champ hiding in a shoebox. Clutch move: they regularly discount the pastries around 2 or 3 until close to BOGO. Enjoy!

Ocean breeze plus relaxing instrumental musics plus random people chatting = relaxing at its best. Breakfast bagel was simple but fresh. My spring fling drink was unique indeed. I can taste the rose and its sweetness. Friendly staff that do not rush their customers.

When I got there I fell in love with the outdoor patio and cottage feel. Inside is small but roomy. The girl at the counter greeted me and took my order: a 16oz Pistachio Extra Hot Oat Milk Latte with no foam/no room. It was ready quickly but as soon as I picked it up I knew it had foam by the weight of it. I had 2 sips, took off the lid and my cup was less than 3/4 full and there was still more foam on top. Hence the 4 stars. It was pretty good but barista's..."No foam/No room means fill it to the rim please and I do not want any foam. I decided not to say anything but if I go back I definitely will since it was $8.25 for a 16oz cup and was really more like p8oz...just sayin' ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

Today I stopped by the Stuart Florida Toojay's this time to try breakfast. I chose the pancakes platter which included two pancakes. (added the blueberries as an option) Scrambled eggs and link sausage dish. I also ordered my traditional breakfast tea with honey. Service: When I walked into the restaurant there was no one at the hostess counter. Since the sign stated to wait for the hostess be seated, I waited a few minutes before one of the cooks noticed me and told me to grab a table and he'd have someone come out as soon as possible. About five minutes later someone finally showed up. Not a great start. My server... let's just say was efficient. However, it would've been great if she served me with some type of a resemblance of a smile. The atmosphere Toojay's has a pretty nice atmosphere with booths, dark wood trim and an interesting eclectic mix of music that was low enough to speak with and hear your dining partner. The food. Of course the restaurant did not have steamed milk for my tea and had to hunt around for honey but eventually we got an acceptable serving of tea. The pancakes and scrambled eggs came out pretty quickly. However, they rested on one dish a fact that I hate as the syrup inevitably migrates to the eggs. Fortunately I had an extra small plate under my tea which I used to separate both. The eggs were okay and the pancakes were okay but, the link sausage were small and a bit undercooked. The bottom line: The bottom line or as I call it "the customer so" what, would I come back? Probably not. Not because it was terrible simply because it wasn't anything special or to be more precise, I would most definitely come back for the pastrami on Rye just not for the breakfast. By the way, the strip center that the tea house is in is a really interesting strip center with a lot of unusual stores. If you'd like to shop and find unique things you might want to stop by. Back to my review. The tea party bakery is a cute little store with a few inside tables and a couple of outside tables. It offers tea (obviously) coffee, cappuccinos and lattes, along with an assortment of cakes and cookies and a few breakfast items. I ordered my usual black tea latte, and the girl behind the counter provided me with a couple of different options for English breakfast tea. Both seemed interesting and the one I selected was great. She also did not hesitate when I asked for a "latte" and honey. Initially, I wanted a croissant. However, they were out of croissants, (except for a strawberry and egg croissant). Missing my chance to find a good croissant in South Florida, I chose an orange chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was excellent, the tea was spot on, and the service was exactly what you'd expected at a tiny tea house... personal and friendly. The bottom line has always with my reviews is my "customer so what". Would I come back again? The answer is... yes. It's not often you'll find a traditional tearoom in South Florida. If you like a traditional tea house with their cute little china cups, assortment of pastries and cookies, traditional "tearoom" ambience and personalized service, this place is one you will enjoy.
