I'm honestly not a fan of writing bad reviews when most of the experience was good, but unfortunately, the food just wasn't there for us. We had already had dinner at Flanigans nearby but didn't want the night to end, so we decided to finally stop in here. We've driven past this place so many times, and I remember when it was a hot dog restaurant. Since the new owners took over, I was curious to check it out. According to my husband, the layout is still pretty much the same, and it can feel like a tight squeeze when you're trying to get around the bar area while people are sitting there. One thing I did want to clarify because I saw another review mention a full-service bar: they do not have a full bar( question is, was it a fake review?)They offer beer, wine, and seltzers. I ordered a tequila seltzer but wasn't given a choice of flavor and ended up with lime, which isn't my first choice. My husband got a beer. The bartender was really nice, though, and I asked her a few random questions about the menu. I was curious about the "Chicago topping" what made it a Chicago, and she explained the different toppings. Even after the explanation, not quite sure why it's called a Chicago, and she wasn't really sure either. I've been in Chicago so not understanding. I also asked about their Not Philly cheesesteak because, as you can imagine, there have apparently been some comments from customers about calling it that because they're complaining it's not made the same way that Philly does. Obviously, since we're not in Philly and this isn't BK...can't have it your way.My husband and I decided to split one, ordering it without onions or peppers and adding jalapeños. I did find it a little funny that we were charged an additional 50 cents to add the jalapeños when we were also removing two toppings, but I guess that's just how restaurant pricing works. We also ordered the truffle fries, and this is where things really went downhill. You can definitely smell the fries when you walk in, but unfortunately, I felt like the truffle flavor was sprayed on to give it an aroma on top, was definitely not mixed in with the ingredients. I couldn't really taste at all on the fries. The fries themselves tasted like frozen, basic fries, and honestly reminded me of the kind of fries I used to get in high school. Even McDonald's fries are better, in my opinion. The Philly cheesesteak was unfortunately one of the worst I've ever had. The combination of the sandwich and fries just really didn't work for us. That said, I do think this location has a lot of potential. We used to have a boat at the marina on two different occasions, with the last time being during COVID, so I know how much foot traffic and activity this area can have. I can absolutely see this becoming a popular local spot, especially because of the location. The bartender was friendly, the atmosphere has potential, and I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, though, the food just wasn't good enough for us to want to come back and spend our money here. read more

This was a fun place! Decided to visit when I was down seeing my parents, and we decided to have a night out! It is a cool location, I loved checking out all of the decor! The staff is also very friendly, I enjoyed my draft beers as well as their fish spread/dip, it was very fresh and tasty! Definitely want to make it back here when I'm down in the warmth again! My parents enjoyed their food and drinks as well read more

I liked the little bar atmosphere. You order at the bar and they deliver the food to your table. I had the chicken tenders and regular fries with a side of cheese sauce. The tenders were good and so were the fries. I want a fan of the cheese sauce, it had an odd flavor to it. My husband had the pork sandwich and Curley fries. He said they were both good. We enjoyed our meals although the meal was overpriced for bar food as well as not being waited on however, we had no complaints about the food other than the cheese sauce. We were not impressed enough to return. read more

We've dined in several times and have always enjoyed excellent food, service & love the cute atmosphere! The smash burgers are awesome! We live across at the marina and last night I called at 9:50 to see if I could pickup take out burgers. I knew it was late however they were so kind and accommodating...even at this late hour!. At 10p (their closing hour) I picked up 3 burgers, fries, curly fries & onion rings. All the staff were so kind (even though they were cleaning up & trying to close). No one made me feel badly or gave me "the look" for the late hour. And on top of that....everything was absolutely delicious!!! We had a very tough day (physically and mentally) and we were also still working on our AC at this late hour which had gone out during the day (hence, the late dinner). PIRANHA PAT....your kindness and your delicious food helped turn the day around and we are so appreciative! See you again soon (& I'll tell all our marina friends too!) read more

I must say. My fav is Shake shack burgers but went in to give them a try. I was blown away by the freshness and flavors of the burgers. The variety of toppings was amazing. Including the jalapeño peppers it's my new favorite and a lot closer too. Thank you and I will pass the word. You will not be disappointed read more

The food was so good! we had the Philly cheesesteak and the burger! the service was amazing and super helpful.

So cute! First time there and really enjoyed it. The place is completely refreshed and every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. Came early on a Friday and it wasn't too busy yet. Both had ad the single cheeseburger, which was really fresh and tasty. Curly fries were well seasoned and had just the right amount of crispiness. The N/A beverage choices were a little unusual. My husband had birch beer, which he loves, and I had iced tea (unsweetened only). The other soft drinks were generic "cola" and "diet cola" plus a few others. There was also happy hour from 4-6 with $1 off wine and beer. Dessert consisted of ice cream bars, which we didn't try. Would return and try the franks and other sandwiches as well. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's hands down my go-to bar. The food is always fresh and way better than you'd expect from a bar menu -- everything I've tried has been consistently great. Service is fast, even when it's busy, which makes a huge difference. The bartenders are honestly the best part. Super friendly, attentive, and they actually remember you and what you like. They keep the vibe fun and welcoming every time I walk in. Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or hanging out for the night, this spot never disappoints. Highly recommend! read more

We miss Frank-n-Stein but they have done an amazing job with Piranha Pat's. The hot dogs are the same as Frank-n-Stein but the addition of Smash burgers was a good move. Delicious! One obvious upgrade that can't go unmentioned is the friendliness of the staff. They are so kind and willing to please. We'll be back over and over again. read more

Very good! Staff is very nice. Comfy cozy kind of place .. smaller TVs at the bar. Plenty of booths and tables but not a huge place. You go up and order and they bring it to you (table number sign). I had Pats burger which was excellent.. it would have been better with grilled onions ;-) they put raw onions on it. Fries were good. Will return read more

My son invited my wife and me to his home for Smash Burgers. I have never had one and I'm telling you, they were great. I couldn't get it out of my min, that's how great and tasty they were. Today I learned about a restaurant that serves them also. I stoped by and had me a single and I'm telling you it was just as great as the one I had at my son's house. It was great and delicious, I will go back there any time. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The Restaurant's name is Piranha Pat's Pub & Grill. It in the old Frank's Hot Dog restaurant. It's location is on A1A southbound just before you go under the US 1 bridge heading towards Stuart. Trankt out if you're looking for a Smash Burger. The price is justifying for what they serve you. Differently a 5 star rating on my part. read more

I went to get my to go food last night. I went in there to get it the young man behind the counter, was not wearing gloves as he was getting garnishes for other people's drinks, touching them as he put them on the drinks, and then I noticed the chef coming out of the kitchen, wiping his hands with a dirty dish rag. needless to say, I had to throw my food out because I can't do the cross contamination. All I can say is if the health department came in, they will have some serious violations. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. read more

Too small, too tight, limited menu. Expected more from the Flanigan name. It's fine just nothing to write home about

If you like to pay a lot for a little, then this is your spot. Small portioned meals. One chicken sandwich with fries, three burgers with fries and four drinks was $90 with tip. $12 for a small chicken sandwich and then you got to pay $4 for a side of fries plus $2.50 for a drink. So you are already looking at $18.50. At least with five guys you can get full while being overcharged. Went to grab a slice from Costcos afterwards. Rippers or Flanigans you'll find a better deal. read more

We ordered takeout for the first time last night. When my husband got home he realized they had forgotten an item, so he went back. They were super apologetic and tried to take the item off the check, but my hangry husband said no he just wanted to go back home and eat his burger before it got too cold. Cassidy called later in the evening, apologizing again and letting us know he had taken it off the check. The food was amazing and we will definitely order again. read more

I had a cheeseburger and fries. It was good. Husband had Italian sausage dog. He liked the birch beer. Was put off by the lack of service. You walk in, they tell you to pick any seat, hand you some menus then request you come up to counter to order. They have you pay when you order and a tip of 20%, 22%, or 25% comes up on your screen. So they want you to tip 20-25% for basically ordering at the counter and no service and before you even get your food. Menu pretty limited. Probably will not return. read more
