Had dinner here and was great as usual. I had the haddock which is always enjoyable my friend had the French dip which also is always a good choice. The atmosphere is casual upscale bar/restaurant so very nice.the service was friendly and professional, thank you Madison for the great experience. I came here one night with a group of girls one night and everyone was talking about how it's such a great to eat and how amazing the food was. I finally stopped by with my family and we all loved it! My husband has been raving about it for days. He has a friend visiting from out of town who wants to meet up for lunch and this was his first thought so we'll be back again tomorrow. I normally don't eat seafood, unless I'm out and I follow a a plant-based diet otherwise. I didn't realize until our order of pretzel bites came out with butter. I said something to the food runner as they brought it to the table and they fixed it right away. Our server came to the table immediately and was super accommodating. Even the chef came out to confirm that I didn't want butter on anything as he was about to make my entree. We were amazed at how kind all of the staff were and how much they care. Always our favorite go to place! We've been coming here since it opened and have never been disappointed. Their menu is huge! Their burgers are the best and we love the Tavern Dip and Open Face Filet! Their sandwiches are always wonderful. You can get really good salads with anything you want on them as well as delicious hot dinners. They have a great pet friendly outside area with fans or heaters to keep you comfortable. You can also eat inside at tables or at the bar. Service is always friendly and helpful like you're part of the family. They are open Tuesday through Sunday. Tonight we are at Carson's. Ordered the jumbo wings for $2 each and they were from very small chickens. Absolutely not jumbo wings. Also had a personal pizza and that was really good. One of the biggest turnoffs was the amount of noise inside. My wife and I were literally yelling to each other to hear each other. It was crazy loud! Personally, I would not go back, not only because of the noise but just because I did not feel comfortable there. Waitress was great! I did want to point that out. But ambience and setting, not so much. If I want to eat at a loud drinking establishment there are plenty of those around. read more

Had a great day of football at Carson's Tavern and was good to see Johnnie behind the bar! He always takes care of his people and I noticed a new floor manager JB who was running food, helped Johnnie during the rush find games for the customers, checked the kitchen and food items and was constantly helping the staff make things perfect. They have football game day specials along with a great menu but the people here make your experience great. Saturday night the bar was packed. The bar Tenders were Great! The Band started to play (they were actually pretty good) BUT, they were SOOO Loud You could not hear anything. The Bar was empty out within minutes after they started! You had to shout to hear the person next to you, the Bar Tenders looked pissed off. read more

Came in alone on a Sunday evening (8 pm). Sat at the bar. I ordered the Peargasm Martini, Shrimp Scampi, and a Lemon Drop Martini later in the evening. The service was top notch. Jim, the bartender, was very attentive, friendly, and skilled/knowledgeable. The crowd was friendly and slightly upbeat due to the USA vs. Costa Rica soccer game playing on the tv. This place has indoor as well as outdoor seating. They have a wide selection of food choices along with a full bar. They have staff is very friendly and the food is always good. Some nights they have live music whistles very nice. No need to get dressed up as this is a casual place. I do not think you will be disappointed food or atmosphere. read more

We went with a group of 7. We have been here before and were very happy but not this time. One of our group ordered stuffed peppers. Upon arrival, the item did not look appetizing at all. I tried it and did not like the taste and immediately asked the waitress to come by. The dish was one of the night specials. It did not taste right at all, and when the waitress came back, she said she would have to get a manager to see what she could do. We asked if we could exchange it for something else and she had to get a manager. The manager came by and informed us "we don't usually do that". We thought to ourselves what do they normally do? force you to eat it??? We were completely taken back by that and very tempted to leave, but all of our food had arrived at that point. It was a very difficult experience and I would never go back. It is incredible that anybody at a restaurant, especially a manager would tell someone who does not like the food that they "normally don't do anything like that" as far as returning it for something else. I had only asked for a burger instead. Waitress was slow and periodically disappeared, not returning to check us. Bad experience read more

Went to watch a Commanders football game today. Came an hour early so we could get a table because bar is always full. Had some drinks and appetizers. Picked a table by the large screen TV because it had the Fox TV early game on. When it came time for the 4:35 Commanders game they put on baseball. Nobody watching it. Everyone at the bar watching football. We were the only table. I asked I assume the general manager to please change the channel. I was told no way because it was baseball playoffs. I asked several people at the restaurant and no one wanted baseball. Everyone there was for football. I have been there a lot for games and never experienced this before. So disappointed. Terrific food and drink! Arrived at Carson's Tavern about 2:30pm on St Patrick's Day with my American-Irish wife. The annual boisterous crowd of Irish partiers surrounded the dance floor, listening and dancing to the authentic Irish bands. Lots of people having a great time and we were happily a part of the crowd. Nothing better than doing an Irish jig with the one you love. Left about 5:00pm. This was a new find for us. We were up in the Stewart area and it was absolutely adorable. We walked in, and we were very very welcomed by someone named Brittany, and she turned out to be our server and she was excellent. We asked her what we should order I had I didn't take a picture of the butternut squash soup which which was absolutely delicious. Homemade you can definitely definitely tell. My husband got the , mini sliders and the homemade chips. The homemade chips were crispy and fresh. You definitely could tell they take care. And then I got Mrs. Peterson's fish dip oh my goodness absolutely delicious and packed with lots of flavor. This is such a cute place it has inside seating outside seating. You definitely can tell it's a family run business because they really put their heart and soul into everything. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. They were kind (manager) and removed items from the bill - however, the server gave us the incorrect bill and then was irritated when we asked for the proper bill. the menu is huge, old, and the items are not well cooked. It was not a good experience, and it was NOT busy. We were on patio, not inside, it was smoky and not well lit. My wife and I went last night for prime rib, decompress from the holidays and watch some football. Sat outside, very comfortable, ordered our drinks and then placed our order, prime rib and salad for both of us. The kitchen staff brought both our salads, then within 1 minute the kitchen staff brought our dinners. We told them we want to finish our salad and to take it back. They said we can put it under the warmer which did not sound good but they took it back. Within 2 minutes they brought our dinners back and said they can't leave it under the warmer that long. Bottom line we ate our salad, left with two cold dinners. The waitress knew this was not was right, we didn't complain, resorted to the fact we'd go home and warm our dinners.
