You want AUTHENTIC Mexican food? Just come to Juancitos in Jensen Beach!!! Wife and I made our first visit last night and it was phenomenal. We split two plates. The first was four enchiladas with a mix of red and green sauces. Small enchiladas by American standards but still more than I could eat. Tried pastor, carne, chicken, and pork carnitas. All were traditionally prepared and excellent. Second plate. Three 'puffy tacos' , pork carnitas, pollo, and carne Asad. Added a side of beans. Only complaint was the shells were not cooked to order and were cold and not crunchy. Rice, beans, salad, and guacamole were very good! Service was friendly and attentive. Prices reasonable. Ambiance was strip mall, small, a bit underwhelming . All things considered this place rates a hard 5 stars. Cannot wait to return and try additional items. Wowza! Moved to the area a few years ago and have been on the hunt for reliable, flavor filled, authentic taco spot! I'd honestly given up on my search after manyyyyyy mediocre experiences, and have settled with chipotle. What a pleasant surprise to find food in the area that is incredibly flavorful. They have gained a new regular - belly is full and I'm already dreaming of the next time we meet again - WOW! I really can't say that about many places in this area overall. We ordered food to go, so I'm sure it's even better in restaurant. Birria taco combo - packed with well seasoned beef and cheese, and consome was salted perfectly. Empanada - my spouse had it and said it was well done... wouldn't mind eating a few more. Ha! Carne asada tacos - packed with well seasoned steak, not chewy or hard to eat, tender and flavorful. First time eating here. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We are vegetarian and she made sure our order was correct. I got the puffy tacos and my wife had the veggie burrito. Both were freshly made and came with lots of veggies beans and rice. Chips and salsa were fresh and we were served a second helping for free . Restaurant is new location and was clean and well kept . My family and I ate here this afternoon and I have to say this place has outstanding food and service. Juancito's is a very nice establishment with a great variety on the menu. Our server Veronica was fantastic! My wife and I had the 3 tacos dinner. My kids had a Burrito, Chicken and the Queso dip. Everything was flavorful and fresh with high quality ingredients. Best Mexican food I've had around here. Period. Sit where you want, fast service, chips and salsa when you sit down, drinks come in bottles and cans so you don't worry about dirty drink machines, good prices for a lot of food.
