Street Taco Style (aka super small) Mahi Tacos $18
    Jessi M.

My husband wanted to go somewhere for Taco Tuesday yesterday and we told ourselves that we would branch out of our regular spots because, while they are all good, we want to find something better. Unfortunately, neither one of us were impressed here. First, I was taken back at the prices, which are all higher in the menu at the restaurant than they are on their website. Also, since the menu has changed, they removed on of the dishes I wanted to try. Literally every question I had for our server, he was I able to answer and had to go ask someone else. They also don't have any Taco Tuesday specials and a plate of tacos rolls in at around $18-$25 for 3 small street taco style tacos. I opted for the Mahi since they didn't have any vegetable taco options and I didn't want to confuse our server any more. My husband got the Barria and said it tasted funny. Also, the complementary chips were stale. Overall, we will move on to a different Mexican place next. While it wasn't terrible, I wasn't impressed after spending a good $60 on dinner.

We really enjoyed eating at Mr. Jalepeno (and loved the name of the restaurant tbh). It was a rainy rainy Friday night so it wasn't busy at all when we came in. We were helped quickly and the girls working were very friendly. The chips and salsa came quickly, the salsa was really very mild, surprisingly so. I ordered queso as well and that was delicious. Again, very mild but I liked it regardless. I ordered steak fajitas and they were really tasty! The food tasted hot and fresh. My mom got the chipotle burrito and she said the sauce was pretty spicy and she liked it. It was huuuuge, definitely big enough to take for leftovers if you wanted. Diet Pepsi, which is sad. But a little lime I've found fixes that problem!

Excellent service... This was our first time to Mr. jalapeño and we truly enjoyed it! Monster Burrito is wonderful and my husband had 3 enchiladas and loved them.

We loved this place. We drove up from Jupiter after hearing that they had live music, something you don't get in the Mexican restaurants in West Palm. We arrived at 7 and were promptly seated the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We ordered appetizers and margaritas to start. We received chips and salsa and loved it all. The margarita was made perfectly not like some of the ones you have that are overly sweet. We ordered a whole fish and vegetarian enchiladas . By the time we were leaving they had a DJ and people dancing outside. I loved this place and will return. My one complaint would be that the salsa was made w no spice, all tomato and corn.

First time eating here, and what a good choice it was. Always looking for a good Mexican restaurant and I think we found one! Great service, chips and salsa on the table immediately. Requested some "hotter sauce" and a bowl of salsa verde with a little kick was brought. Draft beers in frosted glasses only 3.50 all day everyday! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, lots of perfectly cooked Shrimp with spices and red pepper salsa . My Chille Rellanos were great, needed to pour a little of the hotter salsa verde to give them a kick. Surprisingly, the refried beans were also so good I ate them all! Normally I wouldn't eat the beans or the rice on my plate but both were really good. Extensive menu, we will definitely be back to try some more items. Reasonable pricing, super friendly and efficient staff, pleasant atmosphere. The name doesn't thrill me, but the food and service did.

Came in around 6:30pm with my daughter for dinner on a Thursday evening and it was very quite. Service was on top of everything as if they were a little bored, however they were great! Started with my daughters mango kids margarita, in which she loved! My Corazon cadi was delicious as well. My daughter of course ordered a cheeseburger kids meal. She said she liked McDonald's better because it had pickles lol, but I said that why you don't get American food at a Mexican restaurant baby however she did end up eating mostly all of it! It came with lots of fries. I ordered the enchiladas suizas and they were delicious as well, I just wish it had a little more spice to it. The rice and beans were great, I ended up eating my entire plate! Overall good eat, just a little on the pricey side as to why the 4 stars.

The food was good, expensive for an appetizer and one drink but nonetheless it was fine.

Good vibes and atmosphere. We ordered a couple margaritas - which were VERY good. Then 4:00 rolled around... and it was happy hour! We didn't know that their happy hour was DAILY. So that was a nice surprise! Then the people started flooding the place! Glad we got there early haha The margaritas.... wow. We tried a few different ones and they were all so amazing! The most unexpected and unique one was the spicy avocado one - don't knock it, till you try it! Made with fresh avocados, it was like a delicious tequila smoothie almost. SO good. I also tried the Guava Habanero (available for happy hour), delicious! My husband ordered a few spicy margaritas to his taste, they can make them as spicy as you'd like! Food - we ordered the smoked spanish octopus (not happy hour). This was VERY good. The octopus was cooked perfectly and had great flavor! Then from the happy hour menu, we got a chicken quesadilla and a carnitas taco. Both yummy! Really enjoyed the quesadilla! I hadn't been in here a very long time (since when they first opened) so we had a great time and definitely will be coming back for happy hour again. It's a GREAT HH!

If you are unfamiliar with pupusas, they are a Salvadoran culinary delight. Think of them as a glorious meat pancake and you will only get to about halfway to the glory of what a pupusa can be. Pulling into a shopping plaza that has definitely seen better days. Parking was a bit limited, but not too much of an ordeal. El Paraiso Latino is certainly a very humble place, the kind of establishment that you would not look at twice, but missing this place would indeed be your loss. It is usually at these hole-in-the-wall type places that you will find some great food and here was no exception. I ordered two pupusas and a steak taco. The steak taco was a bit small, however it was tasty. The pupusas were decently sized and were also tasty. Prices were a little higher than what I normally pay, but not by much. This lunch was a bit over twelve dollars and I walked out feeling stuffed and contented.

It was impossible to get the server's attention to ask for more curtido and I was not given tomato sauce either. When we received the bill, we were overcharged by $20 and when brought to the server's attention, a language barrier emerged when we asked for a line item review of the items. During the time we were there, the health inspector showed up and apparently had issues with the inventory of beer not being properly accounted for. Overall, the service was rude, dishonest and lacking in efficiency. We will not be back.
