We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. Special shout out to Mauricio & Ralphael - you hombres make this place truly special. Mucho Gracias. We give La Potranca our highest recommendation. Closed Mon, Open: Tue, Wed, Thu, & Sun 10am-11pm, Thu & Fri 10am-1am. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY, USA

My husband was in the mood for a burrito so we looked for a Mexican place nearby and came across La…read morePotranca. What a fortunate choice we made because this was place was the best! It's a small, fast, casual dining place, with table service. I started with the La Potranca cocktail. Our server said it was tequila, passion fruit, and coconut. I assume it was coconut milk or cream of coconut, because the drink had a very light creamy consistency. Honestly, I'm still thinking about this drink. My husband said it tasted strong which surprised me because it didn't to me, but halfway through, I was feeling it. I loved this drink so much. It also came in a funny torso shaped glass. For food, we ordered my daughter the cheese quesadilla, my husband the beef burrito, and I ordered the Vampiro - a fried tortilla with meat, cilantro, onions. My husband said his burrito was good but that it was too much cheese. It essentially tasted like a cheese burrito. Similarly, our daughter's cheese quesadilla was so THICK that we thought she mistakenly got chicken. Turns out it was an enormous amount of cheese, but I tasted it and it was also sooo flavorful. The Vampiro I ordered tasted so good. It was different from what I've usually had in Mexican restaurants but was sort of "lighter" in some ways even though the tortilla was fried. This has a ton of flavor too. I ordered two, and they were $4.50 each, so not bad. (The food came super, super fast). I forgot to mention we were given chips when we arrived. There was a caddy of 8 sauces to choose from, spicy and mild. I tried the very spiciest, Salsa Chile de Vincent's, and this did have some spice but not too much. The Salsa Asada was the second spiciest but not spicy for me. Salsa Chilango had another flavor in it that I couldn't quite narrow down but it was a little creamy and super flavorful. And the Salsa Asada had a Smokey flavor. Regardless, it was a great collection to choose from. We ordered the churros for dessert with dulce de leche to dip them in and also Nutella. These are probably the best churros we've had. They were super sugary and so delicious. The place is small but with a fun, pink, neon aesthetic. The bathroom was clean and beautiful. (Don't be deterred by the sign at the doorway saying no public restroom - that just means for non-patrons. This little restaurant was such a fun surprise and definitely somewhere I'll go again.

WOW! Paquito's Mexican Restaurant in North Miami Beach is AWESOME. A couple of friends had sung…read moreit's praises and we decided to go and have dinner there last night. I wish I would have found out about them sooner because it's the freshest, yummiest Mexican food I have ever had in Miami. In the corner of an unassuming little strip on the south east side of Biscayne Blvd and 163rd Street you would likely miss it if you didnt know it was there. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and sat at our table by a attentive, super nice waitress. The restaurant was cozy, not too big not too small and quiet enough to chat comfortably. No long waits for drinks or food either. And the food... OMG so fresh and flavorful. I swear if I snuck into the kitchen I'd find a mom or grandma cooking the meals! My pals Juan and Jorge who'd been there plenty of times before were right when they said the food was great. We each got something different but everyone raved about their meals. We had the best guacamole with chicharones (pork belly not the dry bagged kind) was a very pleasant and tasty surprise. My friend Soni had a Taco Salad (see pic) I had the Burrito. The entrees were all made with the freshest ingredients and portions were plentiful. No one left hungry. LOL Full or not our table of five shared a Churro with Vanilla Ice Cream and Dulce de Leche, and a Fried Ice Cream. The prices were very reasonable for the amount and high quality of the food. I drove from Key Biscayne and would gladly do so again. If you're ever in the area do you and your tummy a favor and check out Paquito's. You won't be disappointed.

Very professional gentlemen with a great sound. I'm not sure if that little girl is part of their group and is always there but she CANNOT sing. If she is part of their group, they should fire her. Aside from the borderline screaming this girl was doing into my party's ear, she does not have manners. She grabbed my arm and pulled me while I was eating because she said she "wanted to dance" but I was trying to eat and ended up spilling my food on myself. She had an attitude if you don't cheer for her or applaud her. She came back after she finished singing and asked us for a tip when the actual mariachi band did not. SO SO SO RUDE!!! Absolutely never coming back. And neither is anyone in my family/party. Such a shame, the band sounded great without her. And the food was decent. Wish I had tried the dessert but I wanted to get far away from that child and her father who was videotaping us the entire time!! Do not come here unless you want to be harassed!!
