This place always hits the spot! The food here is always fresh and the portions are BIG! It could get a bit pricey but the taste of the food is outstanding! We always enjoy the nachos to start and end up getting 2 or 3 Lambrusco drinks. Those are my favorite! It gets kinda loud in here but it's a vibe! We enjoy the music and the atmosphere. I was here recently with some friends and we left upset. The food was actually pretty decent until we received the bill. My friend and I ordered the exact same thing and the waiter overcharged us both. Flautas were advertised at $12 and we added guacamole for $2. Just for him to bring me the check for $16. And then he added on a table guacamole for my friend at $4.50 after he brought the food out with the guacamole missing. We asked for the manager and there wasn't one working because they were on lunch. We had to go back and forth just to be charged what we should have been charged the first place. When we arrived and looked at the menu it appeared to be authentic. We asked for a few minutes to choose, After 20 minutes I had to hunt down the waitress to order. After our food arrived, we did not see her one time for drink refills. My girlfriend noticed a hair on her plate and mentioned it to the waitress who simply said "no worries". We paid with a card and after several minutes she returned smiling. She handed us the bill after running the card, and stated there was a problem as she had lost the card. Wen we said she needed to find it she disappeared for another 20 minutes stating she couldn't find it. We then stated we wanted to speak with the manager and miraculously within 2 minutes she returned with the card, still smiling and laughing. The food was...ok at best. The restaurant is quite large, very open, but a little dark. Menus are a little hard to read, due to the small font size, there also seemed to be the same item on the menu in 3 or 4 different spots, which was a little odd. The food was delicious, tasted fresh. The guacamole needed a little salt, but my Asada Burrito was good. The men's bathroom was out of soap and had a few pieces of trash scattered on the floor. Portion sizes for food are pretty large. However, one of my avocado slices had the produce barcode still on it. Our server, Leidy did not do a good job on table maintenance, and was slow to see our drink needs, and rang our check up improperly then added on the soda she missed by writing it on the check. Food was amazing ! I got the supreme burrito con asada. But one thing I did want to make a comment on was service I ended up being the Hispanic there with two small kids. I barely got seated and was getting them settled when she asked me what I wanted to drink and if I'm ready to order I said i needed a little more time due to the fact that I haven't even opened the menu and I'm not a local lol so idk what was new and how you served and after that ended up waiting longer than usual the restaurant wasn't full and I just seen her walking back and forth serving everyone else as well as the people that came in same time as me. I had to make eye contact for her to come and take my order. Refills were at the end once food was finished in which I had to ask. In general I would've liked a little more attention and mindfulness she was nice but it was more of forgetfulness or idk what, if it had to do with tipping and the thought that it's another race they'd' give her a better tip so she was more mindful to them who knows as a Hispanic not all of us are ass at tipping regardless as a ex server and business owner to another server treat everyone the same. And 32oz Jamaica waters in a bag (4) doesn't work out sometimes they tip over once you pick them up, taking them out the bag without one opening is another issue if there wasn't any to go holders that should've been said when I called and was around the corner just a situation that can go good or bad sometimes it works if it's super tight and held the correct way. My construction workers are working in this heat and for a water to spill is a hassle that can be avoided. I didn't argue then and there due to me just trying to get out and things done. What is obvious is the food is catered to those who have no real world experience with genuine Mexican food, and not talking about visiting the tourist traps either, even locals in Mexico know that isn't Mexican food. Catering to the Caucasian masses who would call the police if you actually served them real, spicy, Mexican food is a smart idea, lots of them here and they spend money, so smart on the restaurants part for that. Now, if you're a discerning individual who knows real Mexican food, there really isn't anything I can give praise to this establishment for; however, I'd love to point out some of the responses from the owners of this establishment are... interesting. I won't dig into the details but the one thing that bothers me is when they ask if they can divide by three to get an overall rating, you're not making the point you think you're making and I'll leave you with this tortured saying "I only thought you were a fool, until you opened your mouth and removed all doubt". His response is all you need to know about a person talking to another person who is a developer with a mathematics background.
