Chipotle used to be my fav TACO place but service is rushed & pushy, quality of food going downhill, cilantro no longer available, salt & pepper not available, and tables not clean. I found Bubbakoo's in Palm Bay surprisingly refreshing! The service great, so many good & fresh choices, hardly any up charges and CILANTO available! I had two tacos with rice, pinto beans, grilled vegetables, superb ground beef, queso, and plenty of sauces and fillings to choose from including fresh onions, cilantro, and jalepenos! Gosh. I wanted to like it. When you begin with a line and they prepare Mexican food as you go, NEVER FAILS, it will be cold by the time you finish the line, pay for food, juggle the tray while you fix your drink and finally sit down only to realize the forks are up by the drink machine. After all that, you get to eat a meal that cost $45 for two. We did get chips and salsa and added queso. For the price we could have ENJOYED a sit down meal with warm food that was delicious and had drinks brought to us. Bonus... we would not have had to clear our table and throw away the trash AND we would have gotten free chips and salsa while we waited. So.... Fast forward to Bubbakoos Burritos, which has only been around since 2008, when it was founded in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Chain restaurants are a necessary evil of life. It just can't be fine dining every night. Luckily, there are a couple of Bubbakoos located in Brevard, this one in Palm Bay and the other on Wickham Road in Melbourne. Right out of the gate I want to say that Kyle, the manager, led by example. He was charming, friendly, and knowledgeable. He also dove right in to help. I don't know how many ante-jentacular cups of coffee it took for him to get his energy just right, but however many it was, it worked. The other members of the team followed Kyle's lead and worked hard with a positive attitude. I ordered the Taco Trio with Hibachi Beef on one and Shredded Chicken on the others. The shells were crispy and flavorful. I was in total control of what went on top of them and had a panoply of choices, all freshly made on site. Great stuff. I also got the Chiwawa, a giant rice ball mushed down and topped my way from among the 50-plus toppings on display. Colorful and beautiful. Tried this burrito place based on recommendation from a friend. Overall presentation is run down and looks not well kept. The water from the soda fountain had an unpleasant after taste. For fast food Mexican style they were overpriced. We got the steak nachos and the steak tacos and our bill came to $29.84! This place is definitely not Moe's where the queso is to die for. This queso was a pasty flavorless yellow except for the spicy heat. Not a fan and just could not eat it. First, I think the food is great. I've had quite a few items from their menu. My favorite is the Chiwawa. I would recommend this place for the quality of food. The reason I have to downgrade to 4 stars is the lack of basic burrito crafting skills. Imagine a burrito being built on a tortilla where the ingredients are added from left to right, but the tortilla is rolled top to bottom. When you eat it from one end to the other, all ingredients are separated. Your first few bites are all meat, your next few are all beans, then all salsa and finally your last bits are all rice. Who wants to eat it all separately? Build it bottom to top and roll it bottom to top so each bite has all the components! This has happened multiple times with their burritos. read more

I ordered two more times from this place, since I left my perfect review. The last time was just a few nights ago, now. Sadly, they missed the mark. The create your own burrito I ordered was ice cold and nothing inside of it was cooked at all - including the beans. Everything was COLD! The chips were stale and inedible. They did not fill up the chips, the third time they were even more stale than the second time and completely inedible. They were so stale and no idea why they sold them to me. The chocolate chip cookie on the third order didn't taste fresh like before. It had a weird taste. The chips were not at all filled up the third time - not even close to what portion I should have received. There was far too much sauce in the quesadilla I ordered the third time. I like sauce but not overly sauced that it's ridiculous. The burrito not being cooked at all the second time I ordered really upset me - I had to literally go to an oven and cook it for 35 minutes to taste even halfway cooked. SMH. The chips tasted so stale, hard as a rock, and plasticy and inedible the third time - they were just awful. Needless to say, never again. The two awful experiences were enough for me. I want only excellent Mexican food. The search continues ... I gave them two stars because the queso was good the third time (the second time the queso was way too spicy) and the rice krispy treat was good all three times I ordered it. I guess that first time I ordered - and all was so good - was not the usual way it is done. 1 good experience out of 3; and 2 bad experiences out of 3. The staff is polite and friendly. They seem like they care a great deal - and yet, the second time I ordered my hibachi steak in my burrito was as tough as leather and not cooked at all. What gives? read more

Tried 3 entrees and a kids meal. My husband said it was better than both Moe's and chipotle. I like the large variety of toppings and the sauces. Also seeing shrimp on the menu was a fun option that most I don't have. My shrimp bowl is fantastic. his grilled chicken burrito was huge, I was impressed she was able to roll it. The nachos did get a little soggy and cold by the time I got them home I may ask them to build it upside down next time, chips on top. I didn't get a good look at the kids meal but the kids quesadilla was small and my three-year-old was asking for more. We will definitely be back. read more

There isn't anything they do that Chipotle doesn't do better. In fact when I went in, the first thing I thought was it was an inferior clone of Chipotle. The food tasted fine and the store clean and the service was fine. They didn't have condiments for your order, you had to ask for the order line for hot sauce.
