This was our first time there and it was excellent. I had the swordfish taco bowl. It was so yummy. We tried the trio and the empanada and a steak and a swordfish taco. Everything was perfect and the service is very good too.

Great lunch today. Super cute and BUSY, thriving location. Many of the reviews mention the excellent and attentive service and they are SPOT ON with that. The drunken burrito was good; would like to see maybe one or two other options for burritos not involving tater tots, but still good. (Definitely order that with extra salsa and queso...I regret that I didn't). The salsa trio was tasty, particularly the green "hot" salsa which definitely seemed homemade, though the guacamole was likely not. Nice sturdy hot and salty chips. Of the 3 tacos we tried, the shrimp was the standout. Not certain if they have a full bar. Very nice addition to this neighborhood & we will be sure to come back.

New small chain taco spot in the location of an old favorite downtown. You enter into an opened up space that has a bar and a few TVs to watch the games and you can see back into the kitchen. Good amount of indoor seating so when it gets hot hot hot there are choices other than the lovely outdoor patio Staff was attentive but a bit reserved but they looked like they had just survived a major brunch rush. All Good and very good at explaining the menu items and making recommendations. All of which were spot on. We had the trio of "food before food" and at first I thought the portions in the plastic cups were going to be small. But for the two of us just right. And did not fill us up too much before the food came. We tried four different tacos. In order of preference for us after sampling them. 1: Steak was very flavorful and a good portion of protein. 2/3 tie: Fish and shrimp. Both had a good blackened flavor although the fish was cut up pretty small. Not the "fish taco" you get in CA. 4: Chicken. Good portion of shredded chicken. Not sure if the fixing made it cold or the chicken wasn't as hot as I would have expected but the last half of the taco was kinda cold to eat. Definitely coming back to try the specialty items as part of brunch. Protip. Military and first responder discount available.

Service was actually amazing! Best service we've had in the area! We tried the brunch menu and were lucky enough to get the last Dixie chick taco! I also tried the raspberry lime Rickey which was delicious and so refreshing! I loved the casual vibe and how delicious the food was and I will definitely be back!

Here with my friend Rachel. Enjoyed our three tacos each!

**UPDATED REVIEW FOR CONSISTENCY** After coming here multiple times, enjoying their mainstays on their menu, and experiencing experimental flavors on Fridays either they be a knockout, a-okay, or meh, Taco Dive has definitely earned its fifth star for consistently being an amazing Tex Mex dive for taco connoisseurs, such as I, to enjoy. Before continuing, all the details from my initial review are still in effect. Just updating for the fifth star. Probably the one minute detail that amazes (and frightens me to some extent) is that one of the co-owners, Danielle, seems to remember me whenever I step in. I purposely don't make a scene as I want my experiences and critique to explain my pleasure or displeasure of a local restaurant I partake in, but apparently I get around. Must be the connections to the chambers or all the geocaching and letterboxing I do. As for the other time I actually had wait service, Gia did a great job, too. And now she is another server who knows how to make a Melbourne, Florida Cocktail. Besides that, the tacos are, as mentioned in my initial review, priced fairly and very delicious. You can actually enjoy a filling meal on two tacos, which comes to around $11 to $14 if you stick to the three most popular tacos they have: steak, beef, and Cajun shrimp. I also have to stress how delicious the burritos are. There is one kind of burrito you can have called the "drunken burrito" which is your choice of protein wrapped in a warm flour tortilla, filled with diced tomatoes, creamy queso, shredded mixed cheese, and crispy tater tots. Protein choices include beef, pork, fish, steak, corned beef, chicken, shrimp, rice and beans, or no meat at all. You can also get a burrito bowl version, too, which removes the tortilla and automatically comes with rice. Ultimately, I am happy to give Taco Dive its fifth star. They've been consistently good and haven't dropped the ball every single time I have been there. Still, if they did, I would have averaged it out because no business is perfect. My suggestion, is to come on Fridays, order one of the popular flavor tacos and pair it with the special flavor of the day. Make sure to say hello to Danielle, and enjoy the deliciousness you will surely be thankful for.

Great food, great service. Indoor and outdoor seating with a nice vibe. Love the vegetarian options! Food was made fresh to order. There wasn't anything I'd change. So good! Stop in, there's great food here!!

Beef and pork tacos

So, I'm used to going to CantinaLouie in Melbourne, awesome Mexican restaurant great value, taco dive you buy whatever taco you want, they are good tacos, however, they're very pricey. I had two tacos, the pork taco and the steak taco and I had two beers and my bill was $31.50. Value for what you get, definitely try CantinaLouie. I wanted to give a small business a shot, but this will definitely be a one and done for me. CantinaLouie, you get much more food and free chips and salsa, which are delicious. Here if you want chips and salsa it's an extra seven dollars. I would have given taco dive 3 1/2 stars but I can't give half stars.

Trio dip.

It was empty on a Saturday afternoon when we arrived. We were greeted by the girl at the counter. We've never been before so the waitress explained the menu to us. We went with the trio dip and chips - only con was the queso dip was super salty. Our food was good, fresh. It's a cool spot! Would come back again next time we're in town.

Swordfish tacos

Swordfish tacos were tasty. Prices are decent. I guess the portions were reasonable. I'm not sure if I'd visit again. I only saw shrimp & fish tacos to be interesting. I do like that they have FL lager & other options on draft. Service was timely. Establishment seemed clean. The have outside seating. I do prefer other taco spots to this one.

I like their veggie taco with fried tomatillos. I usually get the lemon aioli since that seems to brighten it up. My husband got one steak & grits taco and one shrimp & grits taco from their brunch menu (served until 4:00pm). He enjoyed both but the egg was really runny on the steak one. He said the shrimp one was slightly better. We got tots smothered in queso too which are always good. Friendly servers, lots of outdoor seating, just a bit spendy. $45 after tax and normal tip for 3 tacos, tots, and 2 waters.

Second visit was fantastic! We sat inside at a table for four. It was clean and nice. We ordered the Trio appetizer which had the best tasting guacamole, queso and salsa. The pork taco was delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. The Thai sauce that goes on it was so good. Harley, our server, was very good. She explained the menu and gave us some suggestions. Definitely coming back again.

First time at Taco Dive and it won't be my last! I had a craving for tacos and decided to make a quick stop for a to-go order--so glad I did. The fish and shrimp tacos were both fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The relaxed, comfy vibe and upbeat music created the perfect lunchtime atmosphere. Gia provided exceptional customer service with a warm smile, and her recommendations were spot on. I can't wait to come back and dine in soon!

What a great addition to the neighborhood. The Taco Dive offers indoor and outdoor dining with a unique menu. Taylor was an outstanding server. She helped us navigate the menu and offered suggestions for customer favorites. We enjoyed all of our food selections. The entire staff were professional, helpful and really made for a great laid back fun atmosphere. We will be back.

It was around 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon. We found a taco truck that was sharing space with this Venezuelan food truck too. Facility: This is a typical food truck parked on the side of a business along side another truck that forms an L shape. There are a few tables to sit down under a shaded area so you can enjoy the food fresh right at the truck. Service: The man working was very friendly and helpful. MASA Taqueria Y Cantina

MASA Taqueria Y Cantina

(326 reviews)

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Prior to my initial visit, there are two reasons why I wanted to check out MASA Taqueria Y Cantina (which I will shorthand to MASA for the remainder of this review after the first paragraph). The first reason is the name. Though plenty of Mexican restaurants in English-speaking countries, especially in the U.S., do this, the translation from Spanish-to-English for MASA made me crack a smile. MASA Taqueria Y Cantina roughly translates to DOUGH Taco Restaurant and Bar. Leave it to Mexican restaurants in English-speaking countries to use simplistic titles for their businesses knowing Spanish is romance language and will sound fantastic even if the translation is considered "mundane" or "plain." Second reason: MASA was given a recognition of gratitude from Coastline Community Church, the non-denominational Christian church located right next to them. While attending one of their services, I learned their congregation often "overflows" into MASA's parking lot, especially during events. Despite this, the owners and operators/workers at MASA are gracious about it. The pastor asked us a favor and if we could, show them some love and stop by their restaurant. And that is what I did, along with my friend Heather and kids who invited me to Coastline Community Church since that was her home church at the time. Though an address is provided, MASA is located on the Southside of Eau Gallie Blvd., just east of the bridge. They happen to be next-door neighbors with Red Crab: Juicy Seafood and Bar. For those who've lived in the area (or the Space Coast for that matter), it used to be the "weird" Mulligan's Beach House Bar & Grill (I say it was weird because all Mulligan's locations are on or a stone's throw away from the water and this one was "landlocked."). From the start, MASA utilizes a mix of classic Mexican American culture, Florida style, and splashes of simple class. Their building looks like a modernized Adobe building showcasing an outdoor patio dining area often popularized among the Florida natives during summer nights or Hurricane parties. Their namesake and logo - their take on a Dia de Los Muertos Skull - are emblazoned all in black against a light background on the side of their building, which has a full view from Eau Gallie Blvd. Inside, there is a modern approach to decor meaning simplistic wood and metal dining furniture, collage art, and neon lights spelling out simplistically catchy phrases that parody pop culture like "Say hello to my Taco friend!" We opted to sit outside since it was kinda cool despite the light moisture from the rain clouds all around us. Outside dining is not bad, but unless you are sitting at one of their outdoor dining tables and chairs, it is kind of awkward eating food from low-level outdoor couches and coffee tables. Skylar was our waitress and she was kind and attentive enough. She did take extra care of Heather since she had two young kids with her which I admire. As for food, it ranges from classic Mexican to true Mexican/Floridian fusion. I ordered their take on Chicken and Waffles which is Chicken and Churros, and the Meat Street Tacos. Heather got the Rice Bowl with House Meat (chicken). Her kids ate whatever they were served, but also got some french fries, too. Definitely need to go back with friends and attack those Mexican/Floridian fusion meals including the Taco Longboard and the Totchos (Tater Tot Nachos). A couple of side notes:, the restrooms were clean and stocked, which is good given the business of the Sunday church rush. And MASA does have official merchandise for sale. Their primary store items are t-shirts and cups, but I was able to get a free sticker for my sticker book. For my initial visit, I am giving MASA four out of five stars. Fantastic atmosphere that is a mix of traditional and modern, fantastic food in which their Florida fusion makes them stand out from the many other Mexican restaurants here in the Space Coast (or Florida for that matter as there can be way too many of them), and fantastic service overall. I also got to talk to the manager and he gave me some suggestions for my next visit. When I return, let's say a couple more times, and MASA on average is as good as this initial visit (or even better), I'll update their review to a perfect five-star score, granting them their fifth star for consistency.

If you are a bulb/lighting consesuir, you will appreciate some of the incandescent bulbs and pipe structure. The food portions are rather large. two can eat from one plate. We ordered chicken fajitas and an extra side of tortillas. Stuffed to our faces. I had also ordered a steak rice bowl, without knowing the portion, got it to go :) The "uno, dos, tres" appetizer was perfect as well. Almost to say it's like a sampler of the guac, queso (paprika is added. This was different for me but it heightens the queso flavor) and salsa. If you enjoy dessert, the brownie is a must have. Served with vanilla ice cream, whip cream and chocolate/caramel like syrup. *mouth watering* Our waitress was very kind and helpful. If back in the area, we will definitely swing by again.
