I ordered a shake via the app. When I got to the counter, they told me they had no ice cream. They told me they couldn't give me a refund and that I had to do it on the app. I called the customer service number for problems with orders made thru the app and I was told, "that's outside of our scope. We do not have this chain locally in South Florida. It is not typical fast food Mexican nor Taco Bell foodery. First thing upon entering was the glass ac unit with fresh vegetables and bright ingredients. Place appeared clean and did not smell like fast food restaurants. Bathroom was fair to nice but did not have anymore hand towels in machine. For food we tried a fry nacho type thing with steak and guacamole. It was a hit with crispy Crinkle fries and toppings perfectly salted too. The kids both got burritos and while small they said they were delicious and appeared fresh. Menu also had hamburgers and other oddities which appeared unique for a traditional "taco" location. Son got a Dr Pepper Dirty Del shake and thought it was delicious but missing the lime wedge. This was my first time at a del taco. I had no idea a meal was with fries until we got them. I tried the extra burrito that had rice, chicken, cheese, Pico, beans, and guacamole. It was decent. The place was pretty busy. The orders came out quickly. It was nice that you could refill your drink yourself since it was self serve. The Orlando Location by UCF has had it's dining room closed due to construction on the roads around it. I had a trip to this area planned, so I added this Del Taco to my big night out dinner plans. I looked at the menu and didn't see the beyond meat tacos, but I asked one of the friendly staff members and they told me with an emphatic yes that they had it. I was happy as the Orlando location also doesn't carry the beyond beef. What I love about Del Taco is how much cheese they put on their tacos. Not the value tacos (great for a kid, but no way for this adult tacovore), but The Del taco and the Beyond Tacos are packed with hand grated (yes, it matters) cheese. They also offer the Beyond Taco with an avocado slice instead of cheese which makes it Vegan Friendly. Put that in your meat pipe and smoke it, other taco place! It's a nice change of pace from beans only. They have many good options and some things are better here and some are better at the border. No, they're not authentic by any means, but when it's time to get your taco game on, Del Taco delivers (maybe through a third party). This was the 3rd Florida location and they're growing, so get in on the action and keep them expanding. read more

Tuesday at 6:50pm. Went to the drive thru. I ordered the steak quesadilla. Drove up and payed. Then I was told to pull forward. I could only pull up about 4 feet because there were 4 other cars pulled up ahead of me. It really did not seem that busy, but I'm on the outside looking in. I get it. If you are short handed and busy, then things can take a little extra time. But if you are busy, then the employees taking your order, should be honest and let you know that your order could take between 5 -10 minutes. I should not be duped into paying the bill and then be told I have to wait an extended amount of time. I would have cancelled my order before paying if I had known. Poor training by management. Food was not as good as similar style fast food restaurants. I can"t say there is a good reason for me to go back. read more

This has been hit and miss but whoever is running kitchen on saturdays has the right technique. Specifically with the crispy fish taco. I have gotten it with the tortilla cold and like cardboard (it's supposed to be steamed) but every Saturday it has come out great, thank you. I tried the strawberry lemonade today, surprised it had fresh muddled strawberries in it. Tasted very good, albeit small (real ingredients cost, I suppose) but at home I refilled with Arnold Palmer twice and got a great drink all 3 times. This is for the drive thru only. This is a newer Del Taco location. I use to have tacos at the same place in Vegas so I knew they were good. My Mom was hungry but it was getting late, so we went through the drive thru. The person on the intercom was very patient when we ordered since we don't have del taco a lot the last time I was in Melbourne we went through here too. This time I tried the fish taco and my mom had the original tacos. I have to say the original tacos are well worth the money! They load the cheese on them as well as everything else. They were not lacking cheese, lettuce or tomato. Now my fish was a different experience. I was not a fan of it, it was very small. I was Actually shocked at the size. It just didn't have any wow factor. I guess it was Cole slaw on it and there were chunks of cabbage not chopped up good for such a small taco, served in a soft small shell and it was falling apart as I ate it. My Mom also got the boxed fries which came loaded with cheese sauce and tomato and meat as well as jalapenos on top they were really good. We shared them and they gave you a lot in the box. They also had churros you could add for just $1 they were covered in cinnamon & sugar. Very good. We also tried the little shakes. My mom enjoyed the strawberry and I got the chocolate. That said, the other day I found myself randomly generated to visit Brevard's only fast-food (or is this supposed to be fast-casual?) location for Del Taco, a chain which speciously claims in its the tagline to be, "Better Mex." I beg to differ. Although I've read that Del Taco aims to target a space between Taco Bell and Chipotle, I would much rather walk into either of those establishments than ever set foot in Del Taco again. Listen, I came in with an open mind. There is a time and place for fast or fast casual food. As is my custom, I ordered three menu items with promising names and descriptions. The first was billed as the "Samuel Adams' Beer Battered Crispy Fish Taco." The second was promoted as the "New Carne Asada Cheddar Quesadilla." The last was introduced as the "New Crispy Chicken & Guac Epic Torta," advertised on the menu as being made with "100% Fresh Guacamole." Epic? Really? I think not. I'm not going to waste my time discussing this food. It's Slop. The only bright spot was Amy, the cashier. I ordered a Dell beef burrito macho size It was around $11 when I received it the burrito was shriveled up falling out of the wrapper and there was hardly anything inside the flavor was mediocre at best. One of my favorite fast food restaurants but awful attitude of the workers there Saturday June 29th around 5/6pm. Before talking to anyone it is clear there only 3 workers but that is not my fault, so why have attitude with costumers ( not just me a couple of individuals got attitude). After they prioritize drive through foods then they will take you up at the register. I ordered a number 1 ( 2 regular tacos and asked 1 to be soft and 1 to be hard) and another meal and was charged a total of 3 meals???!? Very confused on how that got translated, I ask her to clarify if and number 1 = 2 tacos because why advertise 2 if I'll only get 1 (which is why she put in for 2 number 1). Clearly she doesn't know how the menu consists ( I am a avid del taco lover so I KNOW the menu) or was just aggravated and stressed, either way we got a refund and still 2 extra tacos. We ordered our food and sat down, i realized that one of the drinks were empty and they didn't have straws so my boyfriend and i went up there to tell the manager and she was rude and didn't even fix the issue and she ignored the fact that we said anything about it. But i have to give props to the front cashier i think her name was Katie, she fixed the issues quickly after hearing us tell the manager. They're also very clean and the lobby is nearly spotless. The service, food, & one of the few places that gives senior discount without you having to ask for it (a small thing but every little bit helps.) We love coming here & the prices are good. The shakes are good, too. The Del Tacos are tasty & available soft or hard shell (as with chicken tacos). The tacos 'mostly have cheese & have some lettuce & tomatoes with beef but it all blends together good (excellent for the price.) New fast food restaurant in town. Nice and clean outside and inside. Don't let the Long lines fool you, they move pretty good for the amount of customers and orders they have. Everything is made fresh and I love how you can actually see the team preparing food as orders come in. You can taste the freshness in the food it's self. Best Fish tacos EVER! I went to Del Taco for my first time. Ordered 2 epic queso burritos. Went to eat one of them and found french fries in my burrito. They were the krinkle fries. I was not impressed. If i had wanted fries I would have ordered them separately. No mention of fries over the intercom that I can recall. I called them and they said they put them inside the burrito because fries came with the order which makes not a bit of sense. Also, no napkins were given to me at all, and i asked for a fork and a spoon and only got a fork. Food was just so-so. I don't think I am going to go back. I think Taco Bell is better.
