My family and I ordered for pickup to take home for a quick dinner. I got a bacon burger, some had their fried fish and my wife had the poke bowl. We weren't far and got there before the food was finished but that's not their fault, we weren't far just really close and I didn't expect them to have our order ready before we got there. I walked in and the place was really inviting, clean, good vibes, and great service. They were really friendly, told me I can sit anywhere and brought the food to me when ready. The food smelled so good on the way home, and man did it taste great. Again I really didn't expect much, but I have to give it to them, their burger was so delicious I wanted another one. My wife loved her poke bowl and my son ate all of his food, which usually he has trouble doing (picky eater). Anyways we will definitely come back here 5 stars. I had been wanting to try this place for a long time and so on a Wednesday afternoon I decided to do just that. The Intracoastal Amber Red Ale is a local IPA and was cold and refreshing ($6.50). My Aloha Burger ($9.50) consisted of a Teriyaki-Marinated Angus Beef Patty, Swiss Cheese, Grilled Pineapple Slice, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Creamy Teriyaki Aioli, all on a Toasted Brioche Bun. The Aloha Burger was marked on the menu as a local favorite and I found it to be very good. Be warned though, this is a pretty messy burger and if you don't abide by the old phrase of "finger licking good", then you might find this sandwich somewhat challenging, ha! My server was polite and efficient. The indoor seating consists of a bar area with 14 seats along an "L" shaped bar along with 4 high top tables. Also along the far wall there's 8 smaller tables. The outdoor covered patio area consists of both 2-person tables and also 4-person tables. There's also a smaller bar with seating for about 10 people. Happy Hour is Monday - Friday, 3-7pm, with $1.00 off wines and mixed drinks, $2.00 off drafts. All Day Specials include $3.00 Landsharks and $5.00 Margaritas. Also on Wednesdays they feature a "Burger & Brew" special - any burger and a craft draft for $8.50 (after 5pm only - much to my dismay). I will be back to try their tacos which look pretty amazing. This place was a perfect outing in the middle of the day. At work, we refused to have a meeting inside a stuffy room, so we opted to go someplace with good food and good vibes: naturally, those in the know chose unanimously to go to Jimmy Hula's While I had never been, I ended up being very happy that they went with this decision The place is easy to find and has ample parking for what I can only imagine are great opportunities to catch games When we walked in, we were greeted and helped immediately by Bridgette We all sat at the high tops and dove right into the menu with people suggest suggesting everything from protein bowls to appetizers and entrées I'm a burger guy and I'm glad that I went with the Hula burger because nano man was it a cavalcade of flavor The homemade pico was actually homemade which to me, stood out as the perfect balance to the texture of the chips The beverages were cold, and the table was checked on constantly, despite they're being a multitude of patrons at the bar and other tables The setting was both fun and relax at the same time so it lent itself perfectly for us to eat and actually have our meeting Inside there is plenty of natural light in the windows and sun make it feel more open and welcoming . Stopped in before a concert at the King Center recently. You have a choice between full service or counter service: I went with counter service given that I was in a little bit of a hurry. I ordered the Zion Bowl after being assured that it only had a little kick (I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy food). The server was correct: the fire level was entirely fine. The bowl came with a base of rice (slightly too much, IMHO), topped with black beans, corn, a good amount of jerk chicken, cotija, crema, scallions and a somewhat spicy aioli, and three small pieces of maduro (fried ripe plantain) on the side. This place exceeded my expectations... Full discosure: This review is a few weeks late, but my memory is sharp on this experience. Dropped in during lunch, late period, but it still had a decent crowd. After being nicely greeted and seated we were handed simple menus packed with plenty choices. My wife and son had sizeable burgers while I had a massive poke bowl. They couldn't finish the burgers and I walked away stuffed downing the whole bowl. The entire servings were fresh and delicious. This was so yummy! So this is kind of like a Tex mex vibe restaurant with tacos, burgers, bowls and sandwiches. It's the tacos for me though so that's why we came. You can get one, two, or three and you can mix & match all their interesting flavors. I opted for the chimichurri, the 3...2...1... and the buffalo Caesar. The 3...2...1... is a local option and has steak, one of their sauces, and some other things on it & my husband and I agreed that it was by far the best. The steak chimichurri was really good it just needed extra chimichurri to give the flavor an extra boost, and the Buffalo Caesar was super fun and unique. I added queso and a drink for $4 extra which seemed like a great deal for the amount of food you get. The queso is solid. It needs a little more spice imo but it's good! This is a great addition to Brevard! We have fond memories of the one in Kisssimmee, so we were excited to see one in our new neck of the woods. This Jimmy Hulas is spacious with plenty of seating inside and outside. There is a nice open concept with cool artwork and comfy tables. The restaurant is very family oriented with an outdoor play area and kids menu. For the adults there is a cocktail menu. You can order drinks at their indoor/outdoor bar. There are lots of good beers on tap including their very own Jimmy Hula IPA and more. My husband enjoyed the Intercostal Brewing Dragon Point on tap. I got a cocktail that was very delicious with Gin. For food I got the Maui Poke Bowl: Fresh, Hawaiian-Marinated Poke Tuna, Jasmine Rice, Edamame Beans, Mango, Scallions, Cilantro, Crispy Onions, Voodoo Sauce. The crispy onions seemed homemade. I loved my meal. They are known for their tacos so my husband got the Voodoo and Wipeout Taco. Both were amazing. We paired with the Cajun fries. That voodoo sauce is good on everything. Our kids got the Jr. Kahuna Burger this came with a drink and cookie. Overall the food is a bit pricey in my opinion. Especially the kids meal at around $10 but the atmosphere and amazing service make up for prices. Every employee was so friendly and checked on us often. Despite not being table top service (you order before sitting down), they are very helpful and friendly, walking around asking if you need a box or refills. We look forward to coming back. read more

So it was OK. We went for late lunch or early dinner....around 3:30 pm The music was way too loud. But props to them for turning it down. We must admit we should have tried the tacos. What takes up half the menu but we tried a burrito and cheeseburger w/ mojo fries. The burrito was a "lunch" size I would say but not worth the price of $13.25 The burger was very small...not even sure 1/4 pound. 10 bucks and then an upcharge for the overly salty mojo fries. The "lava sauce" was not very good. The rating would be lower but the staff was attentive and someone who must have been the owner came over twice to see how we were. Food is excellent quality and tasty. Well prepared with good plate presentation. Service at lunchtime was excellent. Has regular height and elevated indoor seating and patio seating on outdoor wrap around covered porch. High seating wooden chairs are uncomfortable. I took my wife for supper a week later than my daughter and I went. Everything was excellent again except the service. Our waitress was running from both indoor seating areas to outdoor areas. Took longer to order our food than it should have. Three customers who arrived after us got their food just after we were given the opportunity to order ours. Go for lunch, pass on evening supper until they get more wait staff. By the way, you can go to the counter to order versus having wait staff attend to you. read more

Long story short, there were about 5 tables total in the restaurant and we waited over 45 minutes for our food. We all ordered tacos so nothing crazy. Not once did anyone stop by to apologize for the wait or check in on us. When we finally got our food half of it was cold. We are all starving when we got there and mad when we left. I would have said something but there didn't seem to be any sort of manager. It's a weekend close to the holidays so they should have been staffed accordingly and it wasn't even busy! A stopped by recently and ordered a nachos and a cheeseburger to share. To be totally honest the cheeseburgers was not cooked properly though charred on the outside it was raw in the center. The nachos were just ok, the chips tasted a bit stale, nothing to write hone about. This has been one of my favorite places to eat in Melbourne for quite some time. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and the food always has great flavor. The wide variety of taco options really lets you customize your meal and makes for a unique dining experience each time you visit. That being said, the prices are definitely on the high side for the portion sizes and overall value you receive. We've also had several experiences in the past where orders took quite a while to come out, though I will say that this seems to have improved noticeably over the past few months. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, which helps make the experience enjoyable. Overall, we do enjoy coming here, but we've had to limit how often we visit due to the high cost relative to what's provided. I ordered at 1:16 pm and we got the 4 Tacos and one drink at 1:28 pm. What Surprised both me and the person i was eating with was the Size Difference in the Tacos . I ordered one Banging Beef Taco & a Kingston Taco and an Ice Tea Drink My friend ordered one Banging Beef Taco and a Voodoo Taco LOOK AT THE SIZE DIFFERENCE between the Banging Beef Tacos and the Kingston and the Voodoo Taco Although the Tacos tasted good the size difference was UNBELIEVABLE BAD The Banging Beef Taco was barely there compared to the Kingston or Voodoo Tacos There was more lettuce and barely any hamburger in these Tacos. DIDN'T anyone see that ??? Where was the Manager or the Owner??? Even the young girl who brought it out thought it was OKAY See my pictures Since we bought 4 Tacos they ran at $ 5.98 each Taco. We are talking about ground beef Tacos. I think Taco Bell sells a Larger Taco Supreme for like $ 2.00. So their Food is PRICEY Also when I bought the food I got a receipt which only had the total on it. It wasn't itemized. On Top of that, If you look at their menu, they don't even list what a drink costs. This is another issue Menus are supposed to list all the items and their individual prices, but Not at Jimmy Hulas ? I Tried to back figure out what that ice tea cost me and I think it was $ 3.50 BOTTOM LINE HERE, if No One can see or Cares Enough about an Obvious Problem like this they are Doomed to get a Bad Reputation and will not be able to recover from this.
