All of us enjoying our food and birthday celebration.

Great food, great and great service. Highly recommend. So much fun. Celebrated a birthday, server and other staff were great.

Chimichanga - Chicken with toppings on the side.

Went with a friend on Wednesday lunch. We were greeted promptly and seated right away. It's a typical Mexican decor bright colors. We were brought a basket of chips and salsa first. Jose was our server, he was very attentive and did an excellent job. We both ordered the chimichanga lunch portion. It came with a Mexican rice and a choice of refried beans or black beans. The chimichangas are just the meat of your choice and cheese. I really appreciate the fact that there were no fillers like rice or beans in them. Overall it was a very enjoyable meal. Just good food reasonably priced.

Several friends and I visited this restaurant the final day of January and we had the best time! Sam, the manager and Tanya, our bartender were absolutely amazing! The drinks were delicious AND beautifully made. I had Sangria, a couple of others had Mango Margaritas. All delicious. Chips were served along with a special queso as well as salsa. Food was generous and beautifully presented. I had a mucho fiesta combo Enchiladas and a Tamale along with rice and black beans. Another friend ordered the Shrimp Ceviche and the presentation was stunning! She is a lover of Ceviche and gave it double thumbs up. This place was fun, with excellent service and they were busy! We are all in the restaurant hospitality business ourselves and we will absolutely get together there again. Hopefully soon, because after writing this, I am thinking about that wonderful queso and Sangria again. Highly recommend this delightful restaurant.

This is a hidden gem in sleepy little Rockledge, Florida. I have driven by it so many times, and I'm glad I finally stopped by for an early dinner. It was a Friday night, so by the time we left, it was filling up. However, service was still good considering how many customers started flowing in. There were 4 of us, each ordering one of the combination dinners where you can order 1 item (taco, enchilada, chimichanga, burrito, or tamale). 2 of us got the chimichanga, one the taco, and one the enchilada. All of it was excellent. You can either get black beads or refried. I got the black beans, and they were the only thing on my plate that I wasn't thrilled with. They weren't back, just not as delicious as the rice (which was outstanding) and beef taco I ordered. I love how they put the salsa in a little decanter and give each person his/her own little bowl so there's no double dipping. The chips and salsa were delicious, and we received generous amounts of them. I plan to visit again when I'm in the area.

This is a gem in the little town of Rockledge! Friendly and welcoming, I enjoy the Mexican tacos so much!!!

The chips and salsa that we got when we sat down were very good....Nice touch having individual dishes for each diner to serve themselves. As I was told the best queso in Brevard.....well it was flavorful, even a little hint of heat, but the execution in a large flat dish (see picture) made for difficulty scooping or as I like to do...immerse and let the excess drip off then eat...I know why be so particular right? It is my queso and I will eat it as I like. Well, the dish also gave plenty of surface area for the dip to cool. So while there was little heat in the taste there was not much in the actual dip....tepid almost. We ended up not fighting it and mixed it with salsa and that was tasty. Vanessa was on it and very nice. Gave menu hints and told us her favorites....and not the most expensive items either so she either failed up-sell school or is just plain honest....I assume the latter. The timing of the food coming out was a little off with my wife's very large chicken chimichanga coming out with my fajita fixings....a full five minutes until the actual steak and chicken arrived sizzling hot. This is where we got a little disappointed and thus the three stars. Her chicken in her chimichanga was bland...the whole thing was not seasoned. The tomatillo sauce was good as was the cotija cheese on top. But the insides left her and I short for good flavor. She used the pretty good selection of hot sauces to doctor it up and all was not lost. My fajitas were well seasoned, flavorful, and hot. The flour tortillas were perfectly warmed....not dried out like you sometimes get. The fixings were fresh although the guacamole was really green like abnormally green for guac. The beans were also pretty good and I liked the fact they offered black beans instead of refried if I had wanted. I chose the refried. The sweet tea was good and I would avoid the water....it is obviously not filtered. A good meal but not better than some of the others in the county. Worth another try on Taco Tuesday where apparently the prices are great. We will be back. PRO TIP: Veterans they offer a military discount of 10%. Thank you La Marimba Cocina Mexicana

The food was great. I actually enjoy my pineapple mojito. The service was good. A bit of a wait but it was worth it.

The restaurant itself looked the part and so did the food. ..The atmosphere and presentation of the food were exactly what you'd expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant....Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. We ordered the ceviche..it was lazily slapped together..let's say it's "rustic" style it had about 1oz of tomatoes and a 1/4 of red onion with 3 colossal shrimp cut into chunks in it and a half of avocado for $13. We ordered two kids' enchiladas with rice and beans, a kids' quesadilla, an order of flautas, and a horchata. While everything looked great, almost every dish lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. Ironically, the most flavorful thing we had was the salsa but it came in such a tiny bowl that it was gone after literally four chips. It was about the size of just over a ketchup cup, which wasn't nearly enough for the basket of chips. The horchata was also disappointing. It tasted more like watered-down milk than the rich, cinnamon-flavored drink i was expecting. If you're looking for authentic, bold hispanic flavors, this may leave you disappointed. However, if you're looking for a more diluted, americanized mexican restaurant, this may be exactly what you're looking for. Jonathan's excellent service is the reason this review received 4 stars instead of fewer.

Rahul ordered the California burrito and I ordered La Comadre, which came with 1 bean burrito, 1 enchilada, 1 veggie quesadilla, and veggies/rice on the side. The amount of food was a lot, but the execution just wasn't there. The California burrito was open on both sides, so it was basically impossible to pick up and eat like an actual burrito. My enchilada and bean burrito came out room temperature, and the shredded cheese on the enchilada was completely unmelted. The enchilada sauce was probably the biggest miss for me, it tasted really unfresh and mostly just like canned tomatoes. Service also wasn't great. They do have a nice patio area, which was one of the reasons we wanted to try it, but our server never really checked on us. We had to go inside to ask for my food to be rewarmed and then go inside again to ask for the check. Overall, the portions are huge and the patio is cute, but I wouldn't return based on the food or service.

Return Policy At Margarita Island, we don't offer refunds based on taste preferences but will gladly address issues such as incorrect or undercooked orders, or those containing foreign objects. Please inform our staff immediately. The menus are on tablets. We were served chips and salsa right away. The Salsa was spicy, about a 6 on a scale of 10 for heat. We expressed the salsa was a little too spicy and were offered a salsa verde . We were not told there would be an up charge. I don't mind an up charge if we are told about it. We both ordered the Chimichangas lunch $16.00. It came with rice, refried beans, and a lettuce, tomato onion salad. When a server brought our food to the table, One of the plates was dropped and splattered everywhere with broken dishes. The employees very quickly cleared it up, with abundant apologies. The filling in the chimichangas had a lot of orange oil which ran out when they were cut. Unfortunately the chicken in the Chimichangas was very tough, when it was expressed to our server , I was told that happens . ( What?) This is my third visit before I placed a review. First visit to Fiesta Azul Tequila House, and based on the amount of food that somehow ended up on…read moreour table, we clearly came prepared to investigate the menu properly. We started with the chips and salsa, which were fresh and crispy, followed by the queso and guacamole. The queso was good--pretty much your classic cheese dip--but the guacamole was fresh, creamy and absolutely delicious. Of course, we also had to try the margaritas, and now I understand why this place is known for them. Fantastic. Fruity, flavorful, beautifully presented and dangerously easy to drink. Then came my favorite thing of the entire meal: the birria ramen. The noodles had that perfect bouncy chew, the egg was cooked beautifully, and the broth somehow found the sweet spot between traditional ramen and rich Mexican birria. It didn't taste like someone simply dumped birria into a bowl of noodles and called it fusion--it actually worked. The chicken mole enchiladas were enjoyable, but didn't execute that traditional flavor coming across a bit bland and lackluster. I also assumed there would be cheese inside with the chicken, and there wasn't. That's on me! Next time I'm asking for cheese because I think that would've made a huge difference. And finally, the molcajete arrived. Loaded with grilled meats, seafood, vegetables and fresh cactus, it was extraordinary. So many different flavors and textures packed into one dish, and the cactus was especially good. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Service was good, everything was clean, though the restaurant has a somewhat bland yet modern atmosphere.

Let me tell you this was the best Mexican I have had since I moved from California where the best Mexican food exists besides Mexico. I had the ahi tuna ceviche. Best ceviche I have ever had and I have had ceviche through out the world. Best, hands down. The flavors coming out of this dish had me talking about them for the last 4 hours. Phenomenal. My family had various dishes, chicken quesadilla, a chicken mole, a burrito, a taco, and a veggie dish. All reported better than a typical place. They had some really interesting things on the menu, so can't wait to get back there. Service was great and there were a ton of people there. Food presented well and tasted fresh. Chips and chipotle dipping salsa were excellent too. Bathrooms and dining room were spotless and for a place that has chips, that is a difficult feat. Well done! This is a must try. I love carnitas and when they put it on the sizzling cast iron, it adds some crunchy "burnt" parts. Not really burnt, but well done and delicious. But there's still plenty of tender juicy parts of the carnitas too. Another downfall is they only give you rice or beans and not both like usual Mexican restaurants. Otherwise the food is top notch.
