Full Disclosure - this is a take-out review... Decided to give this place a try after surfing on a Friday afternoon and working up a good appetite. Placed my order on-line and it was, for the most part, easy. I took advantage of their Chimichanga Friday special and was glad I did. A massive chimi with rice, black beans, greens, guac, sour cream, and a side of queso to put it all together. The entire dish was delicious, no complaints. Though I did not eat at the locale, I did look around as I waited for my turn to find it very airy and inviting. Looks like a nice relaxing place for some really good Mexican food. read more

I have been to this Flying Burrito 4 times over the past month. The food is delicious. The cashiers are friendly. That was for the first three visits. My visit on 9/17 was a complete nightmare. We ordered 2 quesidillas and an order of loaded fries. We asked for sour cream on the side for one quesadilla and no aioli on the loaded fries. When we received our food which took 35 minutes the fries were wrong and we graciously asked them to make us a new order. They weren't happy butagreed. We then opened the other 2 parts of our order. One was incorrect as we had ordered from the specials a quesadilla that included pineapple and a salad. We received a cheese quesadilla with fries. We asked them to fix it or redo the order and the cashier said all we are gonna do is add pineapple and then charge you 15.00. (Obviously the order was keyed in incorrectly). We said no, we will take it as is. They issued a credit for our trouble. Then the "new order of loaded fries" came out WITH AIOLI!!. Gross! They went into the garbage, and we left. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. So it cost $44 to get one order that was correct and that we split and enjoyed. Side note... After placing our order, we watched multiple guests place their orders, receive their orders and for the 3 that were to stay 2 of them (1 family of 4 and one party of 3), sat, ate their meals and left before we got our food. The girl that brought us our order was super sweet and friendly...the only one that night that was customer focused. Very sad because I was so disappointed I will not be back. read more

Experience: It was a Saturday afternoon around and I decided to get some food to take home in the drive-thru. Facility: I didn't go inside but it seems to be a small business. I only used the drive thru and the order board had a lot of selections, and some prettt good descriptions of what was in/on the food items. Service: Was pretty disappointed with the service. After the girl took my order and I drove up, she literally opened the window and handed me the bag of food. She didn't say anything. I asked her if it was everything, and she said yes. Where is the customer service... how about "here you go" or "thank you, come again", or something. It's so rude to just hand the food and not say anything at all. Food: we got a few things to try: Burro Loco Dry Burrito - 3/5 This was ok ... I wouldn't run right back for this, but I still ate it. It was a good sized burrito. Had ground beef and chicken, rice, beans and queso. Carnitas - 3/5 These were just ok too ... the meat was on the dry side and the plate was full of more "filler food" than anything else. There were literally 3 types of onions on the plate... white slivers, red pickled, and chopped onions as a garnish with tomato and lettuce. I don't even really like onions. LOL! The plate also had rice and beans, a dollop of guacamole, a couple radishes, lime slices, and came with 3 corn tortillas on the side. Queso and chips - 5/5 loved the queso and chips, but it was a pretty small serving. Also, we tried to order tamales but they were out of them. Overall: I would come back with other people if they were coming and try some other menu items, but not sure if I'll be back for take out again. read more

Going down hill since last time we ate here. The girl at the counter with reddish hair seemed like she didn't want to be bothered and could not answer our simple questions. The tables in the booths are too short for the booth length and the tables were all dirty. The women's restroom smelled like sewage, the door would not shut, there were brown paper towels in the toilet and the bathroom was unkept. The restroom was all the way in back of restaurant down a grungy dirty hallway ... with the door to the kitchen looking dirty and the back door of restaurant was open with some kind of plastic or garbage bag over it. Not a very good impression if you need to go to the restroom. The iced tea is clearly made with tapwater and you can taste that. Food was good and we all enjoyed it but the rest of these things will probably keep us from going back. read more

Okay the people working here are super super nice. The taste of the food is pretty good! I wished there was a bit more seasoning/flavor, but overall it was good and I would definitely come back. The food came out super quickly and the place is very clean. read more

After eating here at Flying Burro about four or five more times, specifically to try out their specials, I am happy to give this restaurant its fifth star for consistency. Ergo, Flying Burro is one of the rare perfect score restaurants attained through my new method of rating. Take note: everything from my initial review is still how The Flying Burro currently is. I'm just adding some added details during my consistency run. So, to start, I will mention that the breakfast burrito on Mondays is amazing. They seem to use chorizo, so it definitely has that flavor. Taco Tuesdays three tacos for $5 is a steal. Finally, Fajita Fridays are definitely my fav. The only issue on specials is that the board only mentions Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. However, I was told there are specials for Wednesday and Thursday, too. I suggest anyone try out The Flying Burro. Excellent Tex-Mex food for a great and some amazing specials, too. read more

There is a private parking lot and a drive thru. I have only ever used the drive through during lunch. Most days there is a daily special but my go to orders are the steak quesadillas and their tacos. I was not a fan of the breakfast burrito. The food comes pretty quickly, I'm impressed how quickly the food is made to have a drive thru option. The portions are good and it tastes delicious. Great for lunch or dinner. read more

We swung by here after a workout. Their sign said quesadillas were their special. It is awesome because they have a drive thru! I ordered one beef and one chicken. They were so good and hot! I came on a Tuesday night and it was pretty quiet, just one other family here. I got the $5 tacos locos special of 3 tacos (2 with beef and 1 with chicken). I really liked the chicken tacos, and it's a phenomenal price. Their $5 cheese dip with chips was also quite tasty. They make it super fast, so they have a drive through, and it's very convenient for those flying out of the Melbourne Airport right next door. The place was clean and I enjoyed it! read more

My one an only meal that I will ever have here. Where they cook the food thee staff does not clean, our food contained burnt pieces of everyone else's food probably from the entire day. Also queso fries received contained about half a pound of fries which were okay, but roughly a teaspoon of queso cheese sauce in the smallest plastic container I have ever seen. The steak quesadilla was burnt on one side and gooey on the other. There was nothing redeeming about the meal. Additionally my wife stated that she was waiting forever for the food, went up and asked about it and the person working the counter stated they had put it in the wrong location. I would have rather had something from Taco Bell and I have not eaten there in many years. High school cafeteria food is better. I would give it no stars if I could. read more

They are the only place where I can chilaquiles in brevard as far as I know. Good food, quick service, and friendly staff. The inside is "fast food" style booth seating but that's fine. I'll gladly sit on a hard booth for good Mexican food. read more

The tacos taste delicious, but the meat is disgustingly greasy. They obviously are not draining any grease from the ground beef and it runs all over and saturates the shell. They serve the best chorizo Mexican street tacos in Florida. Not too greasy yet zesty and perfectly palatable. The beans were creamy and rich. The rice soft and nicely spiced. The salsas were balanced beaming with both flavor and heat. Actually, some of the most delicious tacos I've tasted in the 25 years living in Southern Texas and San Diego. I have probably been to the Flying Burro 10 times and each time has been delicious and the staff always friendly. I usually get the street tacos but this last time I tried the tamales. Wow!
