Holy Moly!! The best Mexican food we've had in Ever! We of course started with an exceptional Margarita and then the Temple Tacos!! Wow!! Fantastic! It was recommended by our server and we're recommending it to You! We came back the very next day and had it for lunch! So Good! Our servers both times were wonderful and we sat on their Amazing patio!! We didn't want to leave...I have a feeling we'll be back...tomorrow!

Tacos Mexicanos!! Homemade tortillas, meat, onion, lime, chopped jalapeños! Yum!!! I eat here at least 1x week.

Order Tacos Mexicanos, pork. Fantastic. Comes with grilled pineapple and sometimes fresh radishes. Delicious!!

Vegetarian Fajitas with single pieces of each vegetable with lots & lots of onions.

Not our first time, this time party of 4. We received a Warm welcoming greeting from the Hostess Sunhee C. upon arrival who ended up being our waitress. We were seat in the back end behind the booths. Warm delicious crisp Chips & Salsa were promptly served. Salsa was good however too spicy hot for us gals, the guys enjoyed it. Very quickly after our soft drinks were delivered. Sunhee did an awesome job with refills, cleaning the table off and bringing the check in a timely manner. Thinking the problem was the kitchen they was a long wait for our meal and only parts came out with longer than usual gaps of time before the others came out in 3 sessions. DH ordered Vegetarian Fajitas, the main component filler wasn't impressive with a very small single piece of each broccoli, cauliflower, green pepper than 3 micro slice of a tiny carrot and large chunk slices of an entire onion. The Fajitas sides were plenty and delicious as always. If we come back he will definitely not order this again. Interestingly, both the Sunset & fajitas tortillas came in one container to be shared. My son & I had the Vegetarian Chimichangas both were crispy no greasy and delicious, a bit smaller than some restaurants along with their delicious sides. It was enough for us however we usually do have leftovers. Our guest ordered the Sunset Dinner and she seemed happy with it. To add to our evening was an on & off loud screaming child whom wasn't removed and didn't seemed to be provided anything to occupy her with 4 adults.

Love this place! The specialty margaritas are pretty strong and worth the money. I've had the fajitas, crab quesadilla and sunset dinner and they have all been good. My favorite place for Mexican beachside!

Great dinner tonight! We had the half order of nachos, spinach quesadilla, and fish tacos. All of them were hot and plentiful. Very tasty! The server was polite and upbeat. The restaurant was colorful and well decorated and clean.

I came in and sat at the bar. They have daily drink specials, and a extensive menu. I don't remember the name of what I had, but it was delicious. It was pork with vegetables and cheese and mushrooms. Also came with tortillas, rice and beans. The margaritas were excellent as well. Service was fast and efficient and the place was clean.

Mucho burrito special with half pork and half beef. Excellent and plenty for two people!

It is very important to support local restaurants and this is one of them to visit! I went here for lunch while in the area. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside and the patio area. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The Chambordita grande margarita for $10 was excellent and the original grande margarita on special for $8 was good too. The Godfather margarita with Grand Mariner was not as good as the Chamborita was quite steep at $16. The mucho burrito with half steak and half pork was ample for two people and very tasty (I just wish the steak and pork were cut up into smaller pieces). The food prices are reasonable too (watch for the specials when you first walk in). I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a nice spot for lunch and so glad we did! Beautifully decorated - classy and culturally accurate! Service was quick and all employees were polite and helpful. In addition to regular lunch menu, they also had some daily specials! Great prices and generous portions. Free chips and salsa for the table! Will definitely be back.

Waited and waited for service. Waited and waited for a second drink. Then was charged a Credit Card fee before I had even paid. I paid in cash and let the fee be part of their tip. They were a little busy, but mostly concerned with closing work. One young man looked me straight in the face, I ordered a drink, and he walked away. The food was good, but with 5 Mexican restaurants within 2 miles of me, I'm confident I can find a place more customer friendly.

I came here for lunch with my brother and parents while on vacation and was pleasantly impressed from the start. Our waiter, Jesus, stopped by quickly with warm chips and salsa and was attentive throughout the meal, keeping chips refilled and waters topped off without us needing to ask. The food arrived incredibly fast. We ordered the Burrito Deluxe, Hawaiian Fajitas, Chicken Fajitas, Avocado Salad with chicken, and a beef quesadilla. Everything was excellent, with generous portions. Burritos and quesadillas were filled simply with plenty of meat and cheese, while rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and tomato were served on the side. The fajitas followed a similar setup, with meat and veggies on a hot plate and tortillas and sides served separately. Even coming from a "clean plate club" family, we still needed three takeout containers to clear the table. Those who are spice-averse will be happy to know the house salsa is mild and was enjoyed by everyone in our group. One thing to note: the Hawaiian Fajitas include shrimp, which is not listed on the menu. This was disappointing for me due to my allergy, but a delight for my parents, who happily raced to pick the shrimp out of the dish. After striking out at several nearby restaurants, we were glad to find this spot and will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Down from five stars since the servers seemed a bit absent today. Protip: 2 prices cash or credit.

I had a huge combo plate with a taco, burrito, and enchilada all melted under (too much) cheese....everything kinda melted together which is typically my jam. It smells great upon entry, but it was quite warm with the air conditioning set low, and a bit of stickiness on the bathroom floor. The Al Pastor quesadilla had a GREAT flavor, with the beans & rice above average, chips were warm and salty and the salsa needed a little more of a chill, but had a nice kick to it. Has potential! Again, pleasantly surprised with the affordable pricing for a decent sized meal in this economy, especially so close to Beachside.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Prior to my initial visit, there are two reasons why I wanted to check out MASA Taqueria Y Cantina (which I will shorthand to MASA for the remainder of this review after the first paragraph). The first reason is the name. Though plenty of Mexican restaurants in English-speaking countries, especially in the U.S., do this, the translation from Spanish-to-English for MASA made me crack a smile. MASA Taqueria Y Cantina roughly translates to DOUGH Taco Restaurant and Bar. Leave it to Mexican restaurants in English-speaking countries to use simplistic titles for their businesses knowing Spanish is romance language and will sound fantastic even if the translation is considered "mundane" or "plain." Second reason: MASA was given a recognition of gratitude from Coastline Community Church, the non-denominational Christian church located right next to them. While attending one of their services, I learned their congregation often "overflows" into MASA's parking lot, especially during events. Despite this, the owners and operators/workers at MASA are gracious about it. The pastor asked us a favor and if we could, show them some love and stop by their restaurant. And that is what I did, along with my friend Heather and kids who invited me to Coastline Community Church since that was her home church at the time. Though an address is provided, MASA is located on the Southside of Eau Gallie Blvd., just east of the bridge. They happen to be next-door neighbors with Red Crab: Juicy Seafood and Bar. For those who've lived in the area (or the Space Coast for that matter), it used to be the "weird" Mulligan's Beach House Bar & Grill (I say it was weird because all Mulligan's locations are on or a stone's throw away from the water and this one was "landlocked."). From the start, MASA utilizes a mix of classic Mexican American culture, Florida style, and splashes of simple class. Their building looks like a modernized Adobe building showcasing an outdoor patio dining area often popularized among the Florida natives during summer nights or Hurricane parties. Their namesake and logo - their take on a Dia de Los Muertos Skull - are emblazoned all in black against a light background on the side of their building, which has a full view from Eau Gallie Blvd. Inside, there is a modern approach to decor meaning simplistic wood and metal dining furniture, collage art, and neon lights spelling out simplistically catchy phrases that parody pop culture like "Say hello to my Taco friend!" We opted to sit outside since it was kinda cool despite the light moisture from the rain clouds all around us. Outside dining is not bad, but unless you are sitting at one of their outdoor dining tables and chairs, it is kind of awkward eating food from low-level outdoor couches and coffee tables. Skylar was our waitress and she was kind and attentive enough. She did take extra care of Heather since she had two young kids with her which I admire. As for food, it ranges from classic Mexican to true Mexican/Floridian fusion. I ordered their take on Chicken and Waffles which is Chicken and Churros, and the Meat Street Tacos. Heather got the Rice Bowl with House Meat (chicken). Her kids ate whatever they were served, but also got some french fries, too. Definitely need to go back with friends and attack those Mexican/Floridian fusion meals including the Taco Longboard and the Totchos (Tater Tot Nachos). A couple of side notes:, the restrooms were clean and stocked, which is good given the business of the Sunday church rush. And MASA does have official merchandise for sale. Their primary store items are t-shirts and cups, but I was able to get a free sticker for my sticker book. For my initial visit, I am giving MASA four out of five stars. Fantastic atmosphere that is a mix of traditional and modern, fantastic food in which their Florida fusion makes them stand out from the many other Mexican restaurants here in the Space Coast (or Florida for that matter as there can be way too many of them), and fantastic service overall. I also got to talk to the manager and he gave me some suggestions for my next visit. When I return, let's say a couple more times, and MASA on average is as good as this initial visit (or even better), I'll update their review to a perfect five-star score, granting them their fifth star for consistency.

If you are a bulb/lighting consesuir, you will appreciate some of the incandescent bulbs and pipe structure. The food portions are rather large. two can eat from one plate. We ordered chicken fajitas and an extra side of tortillas. Stuffed to our faces. I had also ordered a steak rice bowl, without knowing the portion, got it to go :) The "uno, dos, tres" appetizer was perfect as well. Almost to say it's like a sampler of the guac, queso (paprika is added. This was different for me but it heightens the queso flavor) and salsa. If you enjoy dessert, the brownie is a must have. Served with vanilla ice cream, whip cream and chocolate/caramel like syrup. *mouth watering* Our waitress was very kind and helpful. If back in the area, we will definitely swing by again.
