    Beef
    Kurt K.

Baked not fried. My new standard. Swung into this little storefront. Family run. Talked to the owner. Using his parents recipes. I am glad. Three choices and we had the beef and the chicken. The veggie is the other option. Beef was the star of the two. Flavorful and a slight crunch to the pastry. chicken not quite as seasoned but with the "crypto" sauce very good. Pro tip: Parking is horrible. Had to do a three point turn to get out. And going left across traffic is an adventure for sure. I am Sure this will become a regular "honey can you pickup some dinner on the way home" stop.

Fresh baked & very delicious empanadas. The best empanadas I ever tasted. Full of meat and again baked (not fried). Highly recommended

Delicious!! Wonderful staff and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or lunch

Cindy is incredibly welcoming and her baked empanadas NEVER miss. Most affordable and tastiest place to get breakfast and/or lunch in town. It's a hole in the wall kind of place but definitely a hidden gem of Brevard County, I will miss this place everyday when I move. Don't forget the mild green sauce!

    Tiny spot. Was very clean.

Super friendly family service, clean establishment, and delicious! I tried the beef and the chicken with the green sauce, I definitely recommend all of the above! Great spot!

I am not an empanada expert at all. That being said, the service was great, but I did not like the empanadas. The boiled egg with olives on the inside may be traditional, but I did not like them. May be great by most standards, but I'm not a fan. Try for yourself and don't take my word for it.

Delicious !!!!! A hidden local gem for sure !

Updating my previous and recent review based on my visit this past Saturday…read more Met up with friends shortly after 6pm. Intracoastal Brewing Company was packed, and I would assume Intruck Coastal Bites was feeling the rush by then. Chicken Rice Bowl - Apparently a new item on the menu. Comes with your choice of protein, rice, peppers, onions, cheese, and your choice of sauce. There were three to choose from. I chose the garlic aioli and it was perfect! Service - Quick as usual. We had a slight hiccup with an order that came out that wasn't prepared Vegan, but the server was super responsive and addressed it quickly.

When I arrived at this location, it was a match made in heaven outside seating, the smell of great food, beers being poured, I mean it just clicked. The service was great! Wasn't a too loud or dead feeling, it's pretty hip and kid friendly at the same time which is rare. The one thing that I have to knock them for is they allow dogs. I'm not against dogs, but when you're having a great time, and you take a sip of your beer and theirs dog hair in it or when the alpha arrives and starts to yap away to get the other dogs in the area to get them in line it becomes annoying. I was walking from the bar with a flight of six. I had just said thanks and tipped the bartender, and a dog jumped on my making me spill my beer. I was immediately bothered, but I kept my cool, and it seemed as if that was the norm. I could go more in-depth, but that ruined the vibe! But there were so many other great things about this place. The starters we chose were delicious! Shared Mexican Street Corn Deviled Egg, Cornbread was amazing along with the the Crab appetizer which was delicious!! For dinner my husband had the Duck. He LOVED it! Had fresh blackberries with a Pomegranate glaze and duck confit hash. I had the Corvina fish. It featured a pineapple salsa along with Mofongo. Amazing. Such a delicious dish. My grandson got the Dirty rice with shrimp and scallops. So good! Absolutely delicious! We finished with delectable desserts which we shared - Key lime pie, Chocolate Pave - so luxurious, and Lemon Blueberry Crumb Cake. What a special night we had. Big Thank you to everyone at THE FAT SNOOK.

Made it back here after several years. Service was attentive and friendly and the menu read…read morebeautifully. Unfortunately a lot of the execution fell a bit flat, especially after both the menu and it's prices had set our expectations otherwise. The amuse bouche was definitely a palate awakener.. a mix of olive tapenade and vinegary mustard. It wasn't for us, but if the goal was to wake up our mouths, it worked. Then hubs had the scallop appetizer with bacon maple marmalade. He thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind it. Scallops were cooked well. I had the mussels from Brussels, a bit clumsy to eat as the mussels were in their shells and the thin Brussel leaves were scattered within/around, all on a bed of pureed potatoes. But a nice flavor and a good portion size. Then i moved on to the beet salad, which was my least favorite. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. I had the crispy gnocci app as my main, which was fine, nothing special and hubs had the catch #2 a tile fish that was just ok. We finished our drinks, opted for dessert elsewhere. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.
