Wow!!! This place was amazing!! It was a first time visit for us, and this restaurant is located in a well-lit shopping strip on Narcoossee, just a few minutes from the 528. This place was a vibe, so much so that we are actually supposed to go to a neighboring restaurant last night; however after driving past this place, we had to change our plans. The food was exceptional. Between my wife and I, we split 1 entree and shared an appetizer. My wife isn't very adventurous when it comes to eating but for whatever reason caved in when the server suggested their octopus as an appetizer. That appetizer was super unique!! It was basically this extremely thin octopus swimming in this very delicate layer of ceviche, with an accompanying side of wantons. For our entree we ordered the Rissoto with braised beef. This was most excellent with a very flavorful 8-hour slow cooked beef with a sweet flavor, whose flavors were contrasted by the very amazing rissoto. I initially ordered a Coke, but ended up trying their Peruvian crème soda which was maybe the best crème soda I'd ever tried! My wife ordered a sweet rum that was red and had this awesome smoke bubble on it as it was presented to the table. Our server, Gabriela (Gabi) was very friendly and most assistive and patient as we asked a few more questions than normal as we'd never tried Peruvian food before. She was pretty attentive to our table and remained kind and professional. We were so happy last night after our dinner that we went ahead and booked our daughter's 18th birthday dinner here for early March when we'll bring 18 of our relatives from out of town back here to enjoy what we did last night. First let me say I visited this spot twice in one week because of how much I loved it. My first visit was a group of six reservation. We were seated quickly once everyone arrived. I arrived early and sat at the bar. Let me say I'm so impressed by their crafted cocktails. The bartenders are the nicest people and made great recommendations. The cocktail she suggested after talking to me briefly, was perfect. Once we were seated, while a tiny thing, the toast corn to snack on was lovely--almost addicting. Our group ordered multiple small plates. I'm not a ceviche person, but I'm happy I tried it. The tuna tartare was great. When I went back later that week, it was just to sit at the bar with a friend to have drinks. If you go before 6pm, it's not too crowded yet. It's perfectly themed and decorated. This place was SUCH a vibe!! It was super festive with loud, upbeat music. It was a little difficult to hear/talk but we still had a great time. The cocktails and mocktails were good - a little on the pricey side but tasty. For an appetizer we ordered the king crab taquenos and I would definitely recommend - they were SO good. For an entree I ordered the short rib risotto based off the waitress's recommendation and it did not disappoint! It was incredible. For dessert we ordered the passionfruit which was really tasty as well although I want to go back again and try the tres leches style dessert next time. This was a great experience and the food was really good - it's a bit on the pricey side. Dinner came out to about $200 for 2 cocktails, 1 mocktail, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert. This restaurant is a whole vibe! We came here because it's relatively close to the airport and we discovered it on OpenTable. There's plenty of parking outside where the restaurant is located. We came when they were having a special on sushi, which means that we ordered extra sushi. The rice was a highlight. All of the food was amazing. The cocktails were imaginative (and a little pricey). The mixed ceviche was delicious! The juice was thick and creamy, and the seafood tasted fresh. The pisco sour had a perfect balance of tart and sweet with just the right amount of foam. The steak was slightly undercooked but still flavorful, well-seasoned, and very juicy. The pasta was okay, but I'd probably skip it next time. Our server was lovely, refilling our waters, offering recommendations, and explaining several dishes on the menu. Our waiter was so friendly and suggested the best drinks as well as guided us since we were experiencing magical dining here. The first thing I had was TO DIE FOR!! I ordered the Tuna Tartare, not only was this so fresh, but it came with the perfect complement of the shrimp rice crackers. The combination was killer and opened my palette for what was to come. I wanted to highlight their amazing Ceviche clásico, it was the catch of the day, soaked in leche de Tigre, with a charred Sweet potato, and corn nuts. TL;DR: -Very good food. -Great service and suggestions. -Good cocktails (with some mocktails too). -Decent price point considering the portions. -Parking can sometimes be a challenge, depending on how crowded the lot is. -Music was a little too loud, but it was good if you like salsa and bachata. -Beautiful interior vibe and had a really fun energy. -Plan to dress fairly nicely like business casual (a button down at least). First and foremost: we will definitely be coming back here at some point. It's a little far from us, but it was worth the drive! When you first enter, you're stepping into a loud, energetic (in a fun way) environment. During the course of our meal, there were a couple of people who got up to dance despite there not being a dance floor. Fantastic energy for sure, though the volume was a little loud for me at times. The staff here are very friendly, and full of helpful suggestions and recommendations, which was helpful because we were torn between so many good choices. As for the food... the food was excellent. We started with the king crab tequeños, which were absolutely delicious. A word to the wise: be careful taking a bite, as my first bite caused some of the sauce inside to spill out onto my shirt! This was obviously my fault, as I should've been eating more directly over my plate, but I got distracted. More importantly, they were delicious, both with and without the dipping sauce! For our entrees, we asked for some recommendations because we were both torn between multiple options. At our server's recommendation, my wife got the short rib risotto and I got the Wagyu Saltado. I further took her recommendation to add the egg and maduros to mine. My meal was very good and the steak was flavorful and tender. The mix of flavors was really good. That being said, my wife's short rib risotto was incredible. I'm not normally a big fan of risotto, but that risotto was fantastic. And the short rib was super tender and so full of flavor. When we come back, I will probably have to get the short rib risotto myself! Finally the cocktails (and mock tail) were very good, and I really appreciate that they have a page in the cocktail book for each drink with a picture and the ingredients to help your selection. My wife's virgin mojito was originally very sour sour, but the server brought it back to add some simple syrup, and it came back much better. What an unexpected experience...Beautiful place, but the execution was so odd. Our server was friendly and filled my water about a hundred times, which I was so thankful for. The food was not bad, especially the ceviche Classico. The ambiance is nice but the music is SO loud and we were sat in front of the kitchen with one of the people in my party partially blocking the kitchen entrance. Overall, it was fine. What was NOT fine was the weird photographer that made us feel so uncomfortable. A photographer came over to our table and asked to take our photo, which was odd but I figured it was for their marketing material. About 15 minutes later, he came back to our table and handed us each a framed photo of our group without saying anything. I said "oh thanks!" and he proceeded to just stand there. Eventually I realized they were not free and we handed them back to him. Only then did he say "do you not want one?" And we had to ask how much it cost. Felt extremely inappropriate for a restaurant. Really cute place! We ate outside and I wish we would have taken advantage of the inside as the decor and vibe is beautiful! However, the outside is super nice as they have fans for the summer time, shade, and even heaters for when the colder days are here! I love ordering on their menu because everything is made pretty much from scratch, so they're able to make flight changes to your order if needed. I tried the fish loved it! And they made the special sauce on the side that I added to the fish because it was a bit dry in my opinion without a sauce. The space is beautiful and judging from the majority Spanish speaking table around me, I was hopeful that the fusion food was authentic and not Americanized. We came here for lunch at noon just when they open. Crazy enough it was like an invasion, which is a good sign! Especially for a lunch on a Thursday. The place looks beautiful! We got a nice booth and then we waited for a half hour for service until we got assigned a great lady helping us out. The house cocktail is the Pisco and it's delicious, they are not cheap but the size is like a double cocktail. We had the croquetas as an appetizer and you can't go wrong with cheese: they were great however not served warm which I found odd. The main courses were really good, we first had the ceviche Amarillo (that was not spicy at all). The paella was the real show stopper as it was served so beautifully. It didn't have the socarrat - which I assume is because it was served in a separate dish to the table or if that was the one, it had a non stick bottom. I was so excited to try this place and was let down a bit. For the high pricing of the food I expected more. My husband got the fireside ribeye and asked for medium rare and they brought them a well done steak. For being $120 the cook should be what you pay for. We asked for another one and got another with no apologize by manager or anyone (which is fine) , we asked for no fire this time. I ordered a speciality meal that was starred in the menu and the waitress asked if I wanted medium and I said that's fine l but mine also came well done and super hard. After a match earlier in the morning, we really wanted some Peruvian food. We found Pisco and decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant, the decor was beautiful and felt upscale. The service was attentive and they were able to accommodate our large group. There was a live violinist who walked and danced around playing music. There was also a photographer going around tables offering to take pictures as souvenirs. Overall the ambience was lovely and our group really had a great experience. We have had Peruvian food at other Peruvian restaurants, but this restaurant was the first Peruvian restaurant that not only had an upscale feel in their decor and service, but also their food. We ordered a Pisco Sour to start the meal and it was done well. Then we had their Ceviche Clásico and Duo De Papas Nativas. The fish in the ceviche was fresh and the acid was not overwhelming. The papas were good especially with the olive accent, but we probably wouldn't order it again because it was a lot of potatoes. Lastly we had the Chaufa Aeropuerto Mixto and the Jalea De Mariscos. All the fried items were done well. Crispy outsides, moist and tender insides. The Chaufa had a good wok flavor also. This place has it all. The overall space is beautifully decorated and has a lot of elements that complement each other. Traditional Peruvian elements with modern and well thought out touches that make you feel relaxed and comfortable here. The food is next level. My friend is Peruvian and told me the anticuchos (Ponle Corazón on the menu) here are the best he's had in Florida (and we have tried A LOT of places in FL). There are less traditional dishes here, but many innovative menu items that blend traditional with a unique and creative approach. We also ordered the Arroz con Pato (more like a stew than the traditional dish would be, but still very good) and the Raviolis al Pesto. The Ravioli is typically served with breaded beef tenderloin but the kitchen was able to substitute chicken for me which I very much appreciated since I do not eat beef. The service and accommodations were great as they were very happy to make any adjustments we asked for. That being said, the chicken they added to the ravioli in place of the beef was incredible and the overall dish was delicious! I imagine with the beef it would be just as amazing, if not better. I cannot recommend the food here enough. We'll be back to try even more dishes in the future as there is an incredible and unique selection. Lastly, the drinks! If you've never had Pisco, the alcohol, this place has some great traditional and creative cocktails to give it a try! We had a variety of cocktails and each one came out better than the last! We did the Parchita Sour which is essentially a Pisco Sour with passion fruit. You could tell the passion fruit used was fresh and house made. It was the perfect blend and quite frankly, the best passion fruit sour I've ever had. We also tried their mojito, Gin from the Garden, El Achori and the Pretty & Pink. All were stellar and the Pretty & Pink had an adorable smoke bubble! As most reviewers have mentioned; this place could be considered "pricey", but comparatively and with the quality taken into account, this place is incredibly reasonable priced. This was our first time at Pisco and wow we were so impressed!! We went for my sister's birthday celebration and had made a reservation for about 6 people. We were greeted and seated right away. I love the attention to detail that this restaurant has, from the decor, to the purse hangers next to every table. We started off with drinks and I ordered the Pretty in Pink drink which was fruity and delicious!! I love anything tropical so this was def the perfect drink. For appetizers I ordered the King Crab Tequeno which were bursting with crab! The crunchiness of the exterior and the softness of the crab made this a 10/10 appetizer. For appetizers I upgraded to the Maki Wagyu sushi, which was good but I ate it so quick. It was a pretty light entree. For dessert, I ordered the Pachamama and honestly this was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. The freshness of the parcha seeds, the creaminess of the mousse, and the chocolate accents made this dessert out of this world. Finally made my way to Pisco! I love this nice modern twist to the typical Peruvian restaurant. This place is fun and has an upscale aesthetic. I ordered the chicha morada which I wasn't too excited about, it was a bit sour and not as sweet. For my entree, I had the ceviche mixto which was good, but as a fellow Peruvian it was missing something. The plate was portioned smaller as well. I also tried the waygu saltado, which was delicious and such a nice difference to the traditional lomo saltado. The servers were very friendly and attentive.
