Some of the best tacos and cocktails I've had. Staff was warm, kind, and on point. I'll be back for sure.

One word for you... AMAZING!!!!…read more Fresh off the flight and I was hungry. A friend who lives in the area advised me to give Bar Louie a try so I did and I am so glad I did. The vibe was vibing and the food was the highlight of my night. The tone gave local kickback. You could tell this was the hangout for the locals, however, it also had an above basic feel to it. As I decided to sit at the bar, I walked in and had a seat. The bartender came straight over and was warm and inviting. I was hungry so there was no need to play coy. I wanted the fried chicken sandwich with the tater tots and a sweet tea. Thanks!!!!! Order placed. TV playing. Vibes kickin. Once my food arrived, it was fresh and smelled amazing. The tater tots were seasoneddddddddddd and baby them things were bombbbbbbb. I'm talking crispy, hot, not too greasy, and truly a fried potato perfection. Whew! The fried chicken sandwich was very good as well but the tater tots stole the night. LoL! The chicken sandwich was huge, fresh, well seasoned, fried to perfection, and layered with a perfect amount of thick cut bacon on a warm toasted bun. I'm talking food crafted perfection. Whoever was in back cooking last night was practicing for a food network show because they showed all their skills on my plate. Thank you, Chef! Bar Louie was truly an amazing experience. Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. Great prices. Did I say great food? Lol. Everytime I land in Orlando, to Bar Louie I shall go. Thank you, Bar Louie for loving me.

It goes till 7 and I love that you can get any of their Signature cocktails for happy hour prices. I had an espresso martini and a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. Both were expertly mixed and absolutely delicious. For food, we got the giant soft pretzel, the meat and cheese board, and the hot honey pizza. All were delicious. The pretzel was our favorite. We ordered the milk and cookies and that was such a fun treat. The cookies were warm and served with oat milk and a shot. All around great bites. Tuesday night burlesque was lovely. The ladies are so talented and it's not as crowded on week nights. We love Mathers!

The corn beef empanadas was surprisingly yummy, I didn't think it would be very yummy but it was. The brussel sprouts we always get because it's the best bussels ever. I usually get the chicken pad Thai because who doesn't love pad Thai, it wasn't too sweet which I prefer. My hubby got the curry, its very favorable but would have been well balanced with rice. The puff rice is not enough to balance the flavor of the curry. Our service was great! Always attentive but too attentive, our waiter always made sure our waters were filled and if we needed anything.

I really wanted to enjoy this place because the concept and atmosphere are modern and inviting, but…read morethe overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant was extremely busy, so I expected a bit of a wait. However, the service was much slower than expected. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and one of the four kids' meals we ordered never came out. After waiting around 45 minutes, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, the manager approached us and immediately became argumentative about how many kids' meals had been ordered. I wasn't looking for a confrontation--I simply wanted the missing meal. I actually had to stop the conversation and tell him that if he came over just to argue, I wasn't interested. That interaction really left a bad impression. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The blue crab dip was easily the standout of the meal--rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It's absolutely worth ordering. The edamame was also well prepared and made for a great appetizer. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was the complete opposite. It arrived ice cold, lacked flavor, and was one of the most disappointing entrées I've had. For roughly $45 between my meal and wine, I expected a much better experience. While I appreciate that they offered a Kids Eat Free promotion, the long wait, missing meal, and poor handling of the situation overshadowed that benefit. The restaurant itself has a sleek, contemporary atmosphere that's great for groups or families, but the lack of attentive service and the manager's approach to customer concerns made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope they've improved since my visit, because the blue crab dip alone deserves recognition, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Within a few minutes our waitress came to take our order and answer questions. The waitress was really nice and helpful. We just stopped by for drinks today and no food. We ordered a Bacardi and Coke, Old Fashioned, and a cocktail called Heart Beatz. The Bacardi and Old Fashioned tasted normal. The Heart Beatz was a very unique tasting drink, it wasn't a strong drink nor was it weak. It had a very pleasant taste of pomegranate as well, I could've drank these all night long. Overall, the atmosphere was nice with the live music, the decor fun, service wonderful, and drinks delicious. The drink prices are on the expensive side but everything else was perfect.
