Found this little hole in the wall based off of a happy hour search. We went right when they opened on a Monday and were the only ones there for an hour... so if you want to go somewhere and feel like it's your bar, this is your place! The bartender will check on you and make sure you are well hydrated. Not to mention they have Touch Tunes so you can control the music and really make the place your own! The inside is fairly small with limited seating but they do have dart boards and a pool table for entertainment. The patio is where it's at! Cute area! Lots of "big games" -- jenga, connect 4, corn hole. Several tables and sitting areas, but also plenty of room to stand around. There is a nice turf grass area that really brings up the patio vibe/view. I could sit out here all night! I'll be honest... drinks are not great, but boy are they strong! My appletini was much better than my mojito; although I probably should have just stuck with a beer. Beware, if you ask the bartender what's on special, he will say anything, but then ask your liquor choice which most likely isn't the well option and then you're stuck with a full price drink that tastes like it should be a well happy hour drink... again the drinks are strong as hell, so all in all you can't be that mad about it! I'm sure on the weekends it is hoping and definitely will be a place I will be back to, to continue the night when I'm wanting my drinks strong at a place that feels like home! We had just gotten in town and we wanted a drink and to just relax for a second and my husband also wanted to check in on some football games so I yelped and here we are. The place was easy to find, the back had all kinds of patio tables and different games you could play, the inside was pretty chill with bar tops and games as well. The bartender was nice and gave us some items to play outside and gave us some tips on local beers to try. So overall it was a good place for us to decompress before we headed to go shopping and our hotel. I was with two big dudes and when one got up from the table it did lift it up and my beer feel and crashed and broke, so maybe need to get some weight on there LOL, otherwise it was a nice spot. read more

Heard about this hole in the wall bar through friends. And then came here with friends. It's a small bar that has indoor and outdoor. Came here on a Saturday evening. Does not get too crowded which is a plus for me. I started with a midori sour. My 21 year old drink. Haha. I wanted something else for my next drink but didn't know what to get. There's no cocktail menu. I told Bartender Michael that I wanted something sweet. He made me something with Malibu rum. The Malibu special. I tasted watermelon and pineapple. Might be wrong. Haha. This place is right next to my house, so I finally decided to give it a try! The bar is renovated. They have an outside part with some fun games to play, and then an inside part with pool. Inside is where the bar is too. It's a bit too dark for me inside the bar, but outside is pleasant. The bartender wasn't really the nicest, but he got the job done by serving us the drinks we ordered. Definitely a place to stop by for a drink and just hang out. It's easy to find, and there is a venezuelan food stand right next to it which is convenient too. Will come back :) read more

Somehow pics have disappeared off my phone (grrr) but this place has been remodeled inside and out. Beautiful bathroom. Awesome deck and patio outside, gas heater with changeable color "rocks". Corn hole and other fun things too. We didn't eat anything and they only have the malt liquors (wine cooler type), but we were both happy with the beer selection. I like light, he likes craft. Was taking my son to the RedCoach bus stop for his ride back to Tallahassee Friday after Thanksgiving. His bus was delayed over an hour. The bus station is not the best so we decided to look for someplace to hang out for a while and maybe catch some sports. Found this place called "Bar One" which is basically right across the street from the bus station. It had like a 4.5 star rating so we headed over. Was not a lot to look at - Small building on pretty much a dirt parking lot. Not a lot of cars in the parking lot but I decided to peek my head in and OMG what a joint! The perfect local establishment. Knowing it was locals I was a little worried about popping in. Ginny the bartender immediately greeted me with the best "hello and welcome". We sat at the bar where there are 4 TV's with Direct TV and Ginny was more than happy to find a couple games we were interested in. They have a perfect selection of 8 draft beers, everything from your traditional Shock Top, Michelob Ultra etc... to a couple of IPA's including my favorite, Jai Alai. They also have a good selection of beers / seltzers in cans and bottles and of course a full bar. The place was super clean including the bathrooms and is smoke free! Not to worry smokers, there is a big outdoor area with tables and lawn games so smoke em if you gottem! They also have a pool table and juke box. They have 2 food items, big warm pretzels with cheese and mustard which was great, and wings. Now you might be thinking "wings" HA! Let me tell you their wings put Millers and Fords wings to shame and give BDUBS a run for their money. They were FANTASTIC! I got mine "Mike's Way" which is a mix of Garlic Parmesan and Buffalo with a side of ranch - Damn they were good ! I wish there was a place like this close to my house - What a great "joint" - Well done! If you are in the area, taking the bus, or heading to the airport, I highly recommend stopping in for a beer and some wings and a really friendly bartender "Ginny". Was extremely disappointed by the very unwelcoming vibe. Brought friends there last night to play pool. The place was literally empty except for a few pp in the outside area & two ladies at the bar. The music was hip-hop, good but very loud, so yes we were also loud & have a good time but nothing inappropriate or obnoxious. Then the bartender yelled across the room at us "ladies you need to keep it down"! It was rude. When I cashed out I asked him why, he said unapologetic because we were to loud "his guest" at the bar couldn't have a conversation. I would think we were also his guest & didn't deserve to be publicly shunned. Awesome bar! It has a medium selection of alcohol but great staff, and decor. We were greeted with a friendly smile as we walked in. It has a pool table, darts on the inside. Walk outside and you are met with fun group activities as well as shaded picnic tables. There is giant sized Jenga, connect 4 game that goes up to your hip, and a corn hole area. Bar One is a great low key bar. My fiancé and I were in town over New Years Eve and wanted to go get a few drinks. Bar One was less than a half mile from our hotel. Upon walking into the bar we were greeted by the bar manager. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The bar is very clean and simple. There is a pool table and darts inside and a beautiful outdoor patio area out back. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Overall our experience at Bar One was excellent!
