Pan seared snapper, dill potatoes, vegetable medley.

The appearance of this place is definitely a little underwhelming, but for what is lacking is made up in absolutely FLAVORFUL food!! I ordered the snapper, which is blackened and pan seared, it was served with mixed vegetables and dill roasted red skin potatoes. I dang near licked the plate! Best meal I've had all vacation!! The sever was a genuine sweetheart. I have already began referring family and friends. Definitely will be back.

Wonderful hidden jam of a restaurant the owner is very family oriented and always makes you feel welcome. I have ordered from here many times and I am never disappointed.. The steamed oysters and shrimp scampi are my favorite menu items. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Happy Snapper was a small nice off south side of Orange ave. As shown in the video place has sitting area. But it's not huge. Our server was okay could do better on asking if we ever been here and explain the menu. Felt a lil rushed. I ordered the Blackened Salmon (as shown below) I had two sides. The rice was okay. Broccoli was amazing !!! My mom had the fried rice and shrimp w/the sauce on the side. She said it was okay. I give my Salmon a 4/5 just next i won't order that white rice. Side note for those who ordered the crab legs everything is MP and sides are all sold a la carte. Just little note Will I return? Probably not. I had it and that's all i need.

This place is a neighborhood gem. Strip mall-ish outside, but clean and friendly inside. Everything we had was delicious from the shrimp fried rice to the paella. Service was great and friendly and helpful. Great place for fresh seafood!

Visited on a Friday evening about 1.5 hours before closing, so it wasn't too busy. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The restaurant has a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere with limited seating--around six tables total. Service was quick, and our food arrived in good time. I started with the crab soup, which was excellent. It had a flavorful bisque-like consistency--not too thick or watered down--just perfectly balanced. For my main course, I ordered a seafood boil. Since it was à la carte, I chose snow crab, paired with corn and sausage. The flavors were on point, and I'd definitely order it again. However, for almost $30, I was disappointed that it only included one snow crab cluster. It felt a bit overpriced for the portion size. One suggestion for improvement: it would have been nice if they offered wet wipes or napkins for cleaning up after the meal. I ended up heading to the restroom to wash my hands instead. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd recommend it to others, especially if you're craving a solid seafood boil.

I got the crab legs, dill yuca, raw oysters and blue crab bisque. Everything was great but the bisque was the highlight. Next time I'm going to try the blacked grouper.

The grouper was prepared perfectly. Grouper is one of my favorite fish. One complaint was with the tomatoes. They were a very light pink color and had no taste. The fries were crispy and hot. The service was good

I'm a big fan of grouper, and whenever I'm in Florida, I make it a point to get a sandwich. Fresh grouper can be hard to find in the Orlando area, but this place delivered one of the best I've had. It was fresh, perfectly seasoned, not overdone, just right. Great service too.

The food was amazing, and the mussels were delicious. The sauce was everything. The spice was hot but not too hot. We had 2 orders of Diablo Mussels, and one with garlic butter. We also had broccoli, which was delicious. Literally everything was on point. The service even better. Would recommend 1000%.

This is my second time in. Love them !! Awesome customer service. Hot fresh, delicious food. I always want more after I'm done eating blessed are the hands that prepared the food. If you haven't been, pay them a visit. They are a hidden gem for sure. My brother ordered the blackened snapper and it was soooo good.

This is in a little strip mall a smidge off the normal tourist areas, but worth the visit!! It is on the smaller side, with only one bathroom. The server was super nice and helpful. The fish and chips was super flaky and borderline flash fried, there wasn't much crust which made it very light. The snapper sandwich was delicious! The fish was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The tomatoes and onions pair well with the fish on a very fresh roll. Super good!! The one downside, which isn't really a downside, the only thing they have that isn't seafood is chicken wings, so my daughter ended up having a shrimp quesadilla with no shrimp keep that in mind for kids or adults that may not be fish fans.

Stopped in here before a city game. Hadn't heard of it really but good ratings on Yelp and also…read morerecommended on another site. So decided to give it a try. Not in what you would say is the greatest location. Just not in the place you'd think a restaurant would be. That's not a negative just found it interesting. We were seated right away and opted for outside dining. You can see a lake across the street but if parking is full it's kinda blocked. But we really liked the vibe there. Laid back. Had some music going. We enjoyed eating out there. All of our meals were excellent. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich (yum). We also got the mexi-cal bowl and the fajitas. They both were also yummy. We decided for the s'mores as dessert. We figured they'd bring out already made s'mores. But no. They bring you out the chocolate the marshmallows and the graham crackers and you cook it right there at your table with this mini fire thingy. It was good. The only thing I would have changed is that they brought out the chocolate ice cold so it didn't melt too well. But it was good. The star of our experience was our waiter. He was awesome. Very attentive, always keeping our drinks filled and super friendly. Having a great waiter just puts good meals over the top. Wish I would have grabbed his name so I could give him a shout out here. But he was working the outside tables on Saturday Apollo 18. Great job man. Overall, give this place a shot. Unique dishes that satisfies the taste buds. We'll be back.

The drinks were great and the food was soo good that we still talk about it days later. He loved the bone marrow. Steak was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The cake was not my favorite at all. Service was good though. I must have ordered the wrong things this time, and I was there for happy hour. The crab rangoon squash blossom was kind of fishy. I was expecting something that looked like or was housed in a squash blossom, but it was a fried ball of gloppy crab filling. I also ordered the jalapeño popper deviled eggs. It was a stunner, but this is not the app for you if you're not all about the yolk. It was yolk on yolk on yolk. I wanted something to brighten it up, like a pickled veggie or pickled onions maybe. I've had better taste experiences at The Monroe before, but this wasn't one of them, unfortunately.

Let me first talk about the service. First, when I checked in the receptionist asked me to wait for a while for the bar seating and she would seat me in a few minutes. I felt strange as there were vacant seats, but I did as what she said. I sat outside for ~10min but got no response from here, so I went inside and asked her and now she told me I could sit at the vacant seat... Weird. Then when I ordered the food, I was told that if I want some bread, I had to "order the $11 pan con tomate and the kitchen would take care of it by not putting on the cheese or tomato sauce on it". Ridiculous. It is also strange that an American Michelin restaurant does not offer some (plain) bread for guests. For the food, I got the Caesar salad and Cassoulet. The greens were fresh and the pickled egg, which tasted sour-sweet, was interesting. The duck leg confit was perfectly cooked. The skin was super crispy and the meat had a nice smoky flavor. The petite salad on the side was good as well. But I was expecting more beans and sausage.
