The weather denied us of the full experience, the food was "Ok" the drinks were on point, but Overcooked steak will never be a good thing Very disappointing experience.

AC Sky Bar is the perfect rooftop bar for an afternoon or evening in downtown Orlando. My friend and I visited AC Sky Bar while we were exploring the downtown area. It was around 4pm on a Saturday, the bar was busy but we were able to find some seats at the outside bar. We started off with a Pornstar Martini and our bartender made it the right way, which we lovedddd. At that time, the sun started to set and it was a gorgeous view from the outside patio area. We finished off with an Espresso Martini, which was well-made as well. Highly recommend visiting AC Sky Bar if you're in the downtown Orlando area. Great vibes, fun bartenders and a gorgeous view await. Sadly, we were not hungry at the time so we did not order food.

We came to the sky bar before the Jonas brothers concert and the food was decent we got some tapas the ahi tuna nachos, the margarita flatbread pizza and the blackened filet tips which were a complete standout and were so tasty. I wish they had a meal portion of those! We got pumpkin spice espresso martinis and a margarita. Service was good although the restaurant was really busy and I give kudos to Tony who took care of all of the tables. The only criticism is that the outside is often blocked off for private events so we couldn't really see the views.

Absolutely loved this place! Came for drinks and apps. Service was top tier! Ambiance was perfect! They had perfect seating for all size parties, fireplaces and the best view! The menu is on the pricier side but it was well worth it. The drinks were really good. I loved their espresso martini! The apps were even better. We got a bunch to share and everything was delicious! The crispy potatoes and empanadas were my faves! I'm looking forward to returning to try their brunch!

Great views, good service, hotel-quality food. I've come here for evening drinks before, but after hearing AC Sky Bar touted as one of the best hidden brunches in Orlando, we came here to check out their offerings. Parking was a little inconvenient, with only street, valet, and garage parking available. They don't do validation if you choose to valet or the garage. The ambiance was nice, and had that hotel minimalist contemporary look, which lacks warmth or character. However the views you get here are unparalleled for Orlando (if a bit highway-centric); the skyline is gorgeous when you look out into the distance. The food here is good; but it's hotel food -- safe and simple. We tried the Elevated Steak and Eggs, the Pesto Panini, and had a waffle on the side. Everything was fine -- the steak was the highlight of the meal because it was cooked perfectly. The waffle was a bit dry. Overall, we had an enjoyable time! I still prefer coming here for evening cocktails, but brunch here is just serviceable. If you were staying here as a guest, I think it would be convenient to come here for brunch, but no need to go out of your way.

Total experience was spectacular! Had a great wedding anniversary celebration with my wife. They have good food and friendly service, plus the bottomless mimosa on the weekends is a great deal. Ambiance is great. We will definitely be back!

When my cousin called and said let's hang out, there was no way I was passing that up. First of all, he is genuinely one of the coolest, most positive people to be around. And second, I wanted to show him a little slice of downtown Orlando, which has changed so much in the past ten years. The Sky Bar at the top of the AC Hotel felt like the perfect place to wrap up our already adventure-filled, touristy day. It's a fairly new addition to downtown and the only true rooftop bar in the city, so I was excited to finally check it out. The views were amazing. You can see the lights of the city, all the highways weaving below, and the whole downtown grid from a completely different angle. The food was medium okay, to be honest. Good presentation, nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. My cousin ordered a Mezcal cocktail and said it was phenomenal, so seeing him really enjoy himself honestly made me happier than anything else. That's the thing about hanging out with someone who has such a great vibe. Being around positive, happy people makes all the difference, and he's the kind of person I could see myself traveling the world with. The age difference between us is huge, but somehow it doesn't matter at all. Every time we hang out, it ends up being a blast. The only downside was that happy hour wasn't available on the day we went, so definitely check the schedule if you're hoping to catch it. But overall, the Sky Bar was a fantastic ending to a fun, spontaneous, memory-filled day. And judging by the posters, it looks like their New Year's Eve party is going to be epic, so that might be worth checking out too.

    Creme brûlée
    Megan E.

The best Creme brûlée! The kind manager took time out of his busy schedule to personally remake our Creme brûlée and it was the best Creme brûlée I've ever had. The texture was so creamy and the sugar on top was glazed perfectly. It was light and had the best vanilla creamy flavor. Highly recommend that you order this for dessert and enjoy the beautiful views from the rooftop. Staff is very kind. A beautiful date night.

The long awaited final review in this trilogy is here. After our sub-par crème brûlée experience a few months ago, the incredibly nice owner invited my wife and I back to the restaurant for redemption. He assured us that our undercooked desserts had been a fluke- and golly gee dang, he was right. We sat down and proceeded to eat two of the most delicious crème brûlées I've ever had, on the house. The owner said he personally oversaw the chef making it, and that it was his own recipe, perfected over 20 years- I believe it. It was creamy, smooth, and so light- I could've eaten 3 more. I had my doubts, but AC Sky Bar, you came through with the game winning 4th quarter Hail Mary touchdown. 5/5 for exceptional service and a Anakin Skywalker-esque redemption arc.

    Christina S.

Four stars for a beautiful patio and the views! I visited last night with some girlfriends and we got some delicious drinks and yummy appetizers! I know that this is mainly a bar to hang out and not really focused on the food, but I feel like the food was decent. It's a very nice space and they have really good drinks. I asked them to make me a drink with a specific brand of tequila. They were able to make something for me, it was delicious! Anyhow, I got the wings, I tried the hummus, I got the churros, and the crispy potatoes. The potatoes tasted like breakfast potatoes, and they were really good with the aïoli. I mean, who doesn't like potatoes and aïoli? I did try the hummus and I didn't really care for it, but it looked better than it tasted. The churros were a bit hard and heavy. The parking garage is attached and you take a ticket which you can text to pay, and you have 15 minutes to get out of the garage after. It's a tight fit and a lot of the spaces are either handicap or reserved, so just be careful where you park. I did see that they offered valet which I probably should have done, but I didn't think it would be a problem to find a spot in the garage. Great place for a date night or to meet up with friends!

    Sunset Margarita
    Amarilis R.

I was brought here for birthday and had a great time. I have been wanting to eat here for awhile and I'm glad I finally was able to. The drinks were tasty especially the cloud 3. The sunset margarita had more of a stronger alcohol taste so don't let the name fool you. We shared the wings, margarita pizza, and the chicken panini. The wings were the best thing! Everything came out pretty fast we didn't have to wait long for anything. The view was pretty nice getting to look out towards universal and all the stadiums

    French toast
    Joelle S.

We came today for brunch and it was not super crowded. We started out outside but then it started to drizzle so we moved inside. The view is awesome though it is very windy on the left side outside. Although my server recommended the French toast, I would not get it again as it was not fluffy but still had a great taste. The potatoes were awesome and my group also enjoyed the eggs Benedict and steak and eggs. I would definitely come again and it's nice to know they have unlimited mimosas for $22.

    Is there parking available?

Hi, yes there is parking in the hotel garage. I think it maybe $6. I don't think there is validation. Also, they do have valet parking in the front if you want to pay whatever the fee is.

Is it only 21 and up?

I went after 9 & they required ID

What time do they open on Friday's?

    I think 5

Do the ac sky bar accept kids?

That I'm not to sure, when we have gone it has always been after 10pm. It's in the hotel lobby so I don't see why not.

So they play music on Saturday night?

Yes they do! Not sure if it's live like on Friday nights and apperantly for Sunday brunch time but, there is music :)

Does AC Sky Bar have a Happy Hour?

    Yes 5-7

    Any dress code?

We only ask that you not wear any offensive articles of clothing. Enjoy!

Walk ins no problem? Reservation recommended? Weekend brunch?

Walk in only at the moment. The outside is first come first serve and at the moment there isn't a designated weekend brunch but they are open at noon on those days and they have a lunch menu

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. We ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the deviled eggs (with no bacon) as appetizers. For our new drinks we got margaritas, I got a regular margarita and my partner got a passion fruit margarita. For entrees, I had the famous fried chicken and my hubby had the meatloaf. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, relaxed, they keep the shades lowered during the day to reduce that sun intake and it's lovely. It feels nice and relaxed in here no matter the weather outside. Again, we enjoyed the experience but the service was fairly slow. We had to pretty much know what we wanted by the next time we saw our server or flag her down to get her attention. She was waiting about 4 tables on our area. We were party of two.

The drinks were great and the food was soo good that we still talk about it days later. He loved the bone marrow. Steak was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The cake was not my favorite at all. It took way too long to come out and it came out very cold. Not much chocolate flavor, too much salt. It was missing something. We will skip dessert next time.

Otto High Dive was our next stop on my Magical Dining tour, and wow, what an experience!…read more My sister and brother-in-law were visiting, so we made reservations (definitely recommend). Parking was easy with free spots in the back and additional street parking. We were a little unsure where the entrance was at first, but a staff member outside noticed and guided us right in small detail, big impact. Once inside, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The restaurant was lively and busy in the best way. It's an intimate space, but beautifully styled very much giving South Beach energy. Our waiter, Louis, truly elevated the experience. He introduced himself, explained the menu thoroughly, and made great recommendations. We opted for the Magical Dining $40 three-course menu along with the $30 drink pairing, which included a drink for each course such a great value. My meal: * Appetizer: Fresh ceviche with tuna, avocado, and watermelon light, flavorful, and unique * Drink: Floridian Slip refreshing and perfectly balanced * Entrée: Ropa Vieja - rich, tender, and paired perfectly with rice, beans, and Cuban bread * Drink: Funky - fruity with a nice kick * Dessert: Maduro Bread Pudding - sweet, warm, and indulgent * Drink: Coquito - smooth and the perfect ending Every single course was thoughtfully prepared, and the drink pairings complemented each dish beautifully. Overall, everything from service to ambiance to food was amazing. I'm already planning a return visit to try their happy hour menu!

I'm really glad we tried this place, but probably won't be in a rush to come back anytime soon…read more The parking is a tight shared lot, so you might get lucky and find a spot, or park across the street and walk over like we did. Our reservation was at 7pm and we didn't get seated until almost 7:30pm. The place itself isn't very big, it's cozy, cute and I liked the vibes but when the other couple we were meeting with showed up it did feel a little crowded by the host stand. The host was nice enough to give us a menu to browse while we waited and someone came to ask us what drink we would like to sip on (i really thought they were offering us a free drink for the wait, but later saw we were charged for them, no biggie but would have been nice considering we waited so long) Drinks were all so so good! No complaints there. We started with the smoked fish dip and ceviche which was different than your typical one, but refreshing! I had the skirt steak - it was flavorful but definitely heavy on the salt. I still really enjoyed it as well as the rice & beans. Hubby got the ropa veija which he enjoyed. Our friend got the osso buco which he liked, but said the chicharron was not good at all. We then had some pastelitos for dessert! They added a 18% gratuity to the check, which was fine and I appreciated them telling us as well as circling it. Overall I think it was really good but nothing out of the world, you can find similar food for much less at your other local Cuban spots - what sets the place apart is the drinks and vibes so if you're looking for the whole experience then it's your place.
