Star bar !! With Tyler the bar tender

Tyler suggested our drinks for us and it was so good! We had starburst flavor shots. He is awesome and made our experience one of a kind. Really fun & the best part is this bar is the cheapest on the whole block!

I don't know who came up with the idea of placing a small bar right beneath the thrill ride that shares the same name and location as the STAR FLYER attraction but kudos to that person he or she is a fricking genius. This is a cool little bar that offers a vast selection of beers and some very nice crafted cocktails. Although it acts as an oasis from the Florida sun and humidity while waiting in line it seems that the main purpose is more about pouring a little liquid courage for those who need a little more time to make the decision to take a seat or not on the most wicked swing ride in the world or possibly to calm those who have just stepped off this thrill ride and in need of a drink to relieve their anxiety or in my case a place to wait to do it again. This pairing is a perfect combination for the adult thrill seeker and it would be interesting to know which business makes the most revenue. Although I knew the answer I had to ask if they had "to go cups" for the ride, of course the answer was no, that would so take it to another level. Whether you stop in before or after enjoying this attraction this little bar is great, the bartender was friendly and attentive serving some of the most reasonably priced drinks on International Drive, so if you need a shot of courage this is the spot...

    PPV

Visiting Orlando we were looking for a bar that played PPV so we could watch our favorite fights. Everything near the hotel was either packed or did not offer PPV. We had seen this bar had the sign displaying they would play the fights. We didn't think we would go here since is so small, we thought it would be too crowded and the service wouldn't be good form how busy it would be. It was the complete opposite. It was crowded, yet a very nice environment. Everyone was enjoying the fights together and the bartenders were always making sure everyone was being attended. Our bartender was a lady and she was very very nice with incredible fast service despite being so busy on a Saturday night given the PPV. I will definitely be coming back on our next visit. Despite the fact they don't offer mojito is still a 5 star place. Visited sat 8/17/19.

Once I stayed once and appreciated the midcentury design of the place I was hooked. And the Swizzle Lounge was definitely one of the perks. When I was running late, driving north after work from South Florida I had a 1st primary objective, make it in time to grab one martini at Swizzle. I was making ok time but when I got into the lobby I knew I only had 15 minutes to spare. And there was a long line to check in. When I finally checked in I only had minutes left. I walked up the busy evening bar with little to no hope. And yet one of the busy bartenders saw me and said they had last call already, but they would get me for one. Halleluiah. One martini later and I was ready to wander to our room. The Swizzle is retro, brightly lit, and especially friendly. Looking forward to stopping in again soon.

There is so much space, even at the height of the crowd, you can find a fun game to play. You can break down your day into categories of games. We had a pinball segment, a shooting one, sports, old school arcade, Mario Kart on the Switch 2 dart, it just went on forever. It could have kept going, but we had dinner reservations to keep. Ambiance is absolutely awesome. Brilliant, electric murals cover every single inch of space. There isn't any blankness on any wall, not even in the restroom. It's wild, and it's great. There's some food options, but it's like, dumb stuff for kids. Pizza, chicken tenders, etc. So if you want to spend a whole day here, get the pass that lets you leave and come back. However, it is quite fun, when we got there on a Saturday night, they were having a Taylor Swift look alike performance. I absolutely loved it. It turned out it was happening every hour so we were able to watch her perform twice. They also had someone selling jewelry and an artist painting, overall it is such a fun vibe. If you want a standard table, you need to make a reservation, I made a reservation like 15 minutes before and they only had outdoor seating and high tops available. We chose a high top and it was fine. They do have a kids menu so my son was able to order a cheese pizza with a side of fries and the other one ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of fruit. On the kids menu it says cheese quesadilla but he really wanted chicken, I was surprised the chicken was a bit spicy. He ate a couple bites and then asked for his own cheese pizza after seeing his brothers. All the plates are meant to be shared so they come out whenever they're ready. My older son's cheese pizza came out immediately and then my younger son's chicken quesadilla came out after all our food had been delivered. I think this is what made him want a cheese pizza because he didn't have his own meal for majority of the time we were eating. When we finally ordered his cheese pizza it then took a long time to come out. I'm guessing it's because it's woodfired and his pizza was behind a ton of other pizzas whereas with my older son we must've ordered at a good time. My absolute favorite dish was the marinated cucumbers. It was a light and delicious. It reminds me of what I find at a Japanese restaurant. I also got the butter chicken, it was OK. I didn't find the chicken super tender so I would skip it next time. We also got the maple glazed chicken wings. I found the breading to be overly salty. I ended up taking off all of the breading and my younger son ate a ton of the chicken. I would skip it next time. We got the steak skewers, which were pretty delicious. Again didn't love it so probably would get something else next time. My husband did not like his ribs so he definitely should skip that next time. So overall, the food was OK, but my kids absolutely destroyed their pizza and I love the atmosphere, which is why I'm giving this place four stars. I see that it has great potential. If parking is a problem, I recommend parking at icon park and walking because it's about five minutes away. Our server was super nice, she was a bit slow, but she also had a giant table next to us, which could've contributed to that. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed our experience here.

The atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a great spot if you're looking for upbeat brunch energy. We started with the deviled eggs, and those did not disappoint. They were flavorful, well-balanced, and probably the highlight of our meal. For entrées, my husband ordered the brunch burger. The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back.
