10/10 burgers! This is my go-to spot whenever I want a quick, satisfying burger. The quality is always consistent and the food comes out fast. What I think is the real hidden gem here though are the chocolate chip cookies. They're absolutely amazing and definitely worth grabbing every time. On top of that, the customer service is fantastic. We stopped in on a Monday when they first opened. It looked like only 2 people working and the food arrived swiftly. My son and I both ordered a single burger with cheddar cheese all the way and gator tots. The burgers were good, but the gator totals were too dark. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Beth's Burger Bar. I ordered a turkey burger and after taking just one bite, I immediately realized something was wrong. When I opened the burger, I found that the center was raw and severely undercooked. The photos speak for themselves the meat was pink, mushy, and clearly not cooked through. This is a serious food safety concern, especially when dealing with poultry. Customers should never have to worry about whether their food has been cooked to a safe temperature. Had I not checked the burger after that first bite, I could have consumed much more of it. Food safety is one of the most basic expectations when dining out, and unfortunately, this visit fell far short of that standard. I hope management takes this matter seriously, reviews its cooking procedures, and ensures this does not happen to anyone else. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Serving a raw turkey burger is simply unacceptable. read more

Just came for Memorial Day afternoon since we didn't really want to do cook and were in the mood for some juicy burgers. Well this is certainly the burger joint I was looking for cause it hit the spot! The burgers were out in 10 mins max, $2 pbr also was an added bonus. I really enjoyed eating here! The old school vibe, the classic yummy food, and the friendly staff just top it all off made this experience one of a kind. We got the tater tots, mac n cheese bites that were really yummy, and a classic cheese burger. I dined in and saw that a lot of people were ordering take out and a lot of people were coming in and out which is always good. Their menu features a great variety of burgers, as well as sides and desserts. Our family ordered four different burgers, their classic fries, as well as their funnel cake fries. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend their funnel cake fries with cinnamon sugar -- think "churro fries -- as well as any of their freshly made burgers. Heard this was a staple, so I wanted to give it a go! I started by asking the gentleman what was good or most popular and he told me everything. The burger itself was pretty good, I think it was on a potato bun.. can never go wrong there. I wanted to up the fries by going chili cheese. They unfortunately weren't good, and I think the "chili" was just maybe beans, not chili. I LOVE chili cheese fries so I was pretty disappointed. Sadly, we will not be back to this location due to how rude the employees were to our entire family. There are lots of other great places in town that will treat you kindly. First visit to any of their local locations! I've driven by this place a million times and always wanted to try it. My 15 year old son loves burgers so we finally checked it out. The food was awesome! I got a Mac and cheese burger and my son got the Black Label burger. He ate all of my burger and most of his own lol. He got fries which were crispy and not too greasy. I love fried okra so I had to get it and I was not disappointed! The service was friendly and fast (we expected a bit of a wait for cooking the burgers so that was totally fine). We loved the dive bar kind of vibe of the location too! My son finished his meal with a chocolate milkshake which he drank all of as well! I think we're in love with this place lol. The restaurant has indoor table and booth seating, a wrap-around bar with stools and a couple of tables outside in front of the establishment. I had the Double Patty Swiss Mushroom Burger with a side of Onion Rings and both items were fresh, delicious and served piping hot. The food was served quickly and Emma was great at multi-tasking as the cashier, server and providing me the restaurant Wi-fi password in order to complete a Yelp check-in. Coworkers and I ordered from here using a delivery service and if they ever, eVeR, EVER ask me if I want to order from here again, my complete full and no punches pulled answer is a solid no way, Jose. For $8.95 I got a less than flavorful cold Swiss, mushroom burger which was sloppily thrown together. How does one have wilted lettuce on a cold burger? I'm guessing it had seen its better days but oh well that's the least of the problems with the burger. And while the garlic fries were tasty, do you see $6.95 being reasonable for a pinch of fries? Twenty dollars down the tube for me so consider yourselves forewarned. Edit in response to their feedback. Looks like they're laying blame on the delivery but even greater still is that the prices I mentioned are from their menu, not inflated due to delivery. Alright, my Dudes. I know the Orlandoian thing for me to do is write a great review for Beth's Burger Bar, but I've got to stay true to myself. I didn't Love Beth's Burger Bar. In fact, it tasted pretty generic as far a burgers go. I also was not a far or the portion size for the sides. The cheese curds specifically costs $5 as a side and then they charged and additional $1 for the marinara to go with it. So thar makes them the most expensive cheese curds I've ever purchased. . . Anywho, the burger menu selection seemed like a play on Red Robin's different styles of burgers. Both burgers were a little different, but generically tasted very similar. I don't see myself craving a Beth's burger in the future, as I've always been a Five Guys fan, but I don't doubt that people love it, so it could be worth your while to try it out as well. read more

I love the location near Epic universal /central blvd but this location I would avoid!! I wanted to avoid traffic & was happy when I saw Beth's sign. yes!! But Parking is sketchy & unattended and in bad area - around the back of building. More disappointing was the difference in service. The bartender was also kitchen / he acted inconvenienced when I asked for mustard & he just pointed toward soda machine. (Only one other customer was in restaurant). Really? I don't suppose there's a spicy mustard option or that you may have provided the mustard & politely let me know that if I would like more there's a dispenser by the soda machine. Wow this place lived up to the hype. Gf had the chicken sandwich I tried the blackjack burger. Had the pretzel sticks on the side and some tater tots. Enjoyed the meal inside which had a nice decor as well. This place is great. Been here twice and both times were amazing. Prices are very reasonable. I saw a review from someone complaining about cold food and yet they used a delivery service. This is not the case food is very hot and very fresh. If you whine and cry about cold food, pick it up yourself. Inside the restaurant is tables and booths, with some limited seating outside. Parking lot is small, I was in a semi truck so I parked on a side road and walked up. There is also some cool store related clothing for sale as well as a cut out of Beth. I don't think the cutout is for sale but still cool to see her even when she's not there. read more

I was craving a burger on Sunday night and since Beth's Burger Bar is right around the corner from me in Edgewood, I decided to do the takeout route. I called at 7:45pm and the server said pickup was available, but informed me they close at 8pm. I provided my order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I got there at 7:55pm and was greeted by various friendly servers even though they were in the process of closing up. (No scowls, just smiles and friendly banter even at closing!) I ordered a double burger with bleu cheese, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, mushrooms (extra charge), mayo and mustard. Man, it tasted fantastic!! I also ordered the sweet potato fries which were good, but a little dried out. However, given I ordered at the end of the night, that is easily forgiven. I was just happy to have a great burger. I love this local establishment (there is one in Lake Mary; downtown location closed based on feedback from owner-see below) so give it a try if you're in the mood for a good burger with the fixin's! read more

My parents saw some of the people from an Orlando house flipping reality show eating here and my dad stuck it on our list of restaurants to try during our brief trip to FL. We went in the late afternoon/early evening before the big dinner rush and had no trouble finding parking or a place to sit and eat. Parking is to the left of the restaurant (if you're facing the entrance). It's a small location with some booths, tables, the bar area, and outside tables with quirky chairs. Mom and I made our own burgers and Dad ordered one of the specialty ones off the menu. We should have remembered to ask for our burgers to be cooked medium rare to medium, as all of our burgers came out closer to medium-well or well done. (That was our error. We got pretty far into eating that it dawned on us that the burgers were cooked a little more than we liked, but it was too late to say something and we wanted to finish our food after a long travel day.) Fries were good and my parents enjoyed the onion rings. The gals who worked there were all friendly and very attentive with making sure everyone's orders were right and that everyone was doing okay throughout their meal. I'm pretty sure they knew most of the people dining there, as a few times they would strike up a conversation with some of the people while checking in on their meals.
