We had a 7pm reservation on a Saturday night and were instantly impressed by the vibe inside! Super aesthetic and stylish, with a live saxophonist playing for the evening. Cocktails here range from $16-$20. Each drink was beautifully presented, and the Aquella Muchaca Linda I ordered was not only stunning but incredibly flavorful! For food, we shared several dishes: Bun in a Million (without the foie gras), Tartare for Now, I'm Corny, and It Tastes Like Chicken. Most items fall in the $20-$30 range and are served tapas-style, except for the burger, which is a full meal and absolutely delicious. Every dish had a creative twist and gorgeous presentation. The chicken nuggets with caviar were such a fun and unexpected combo! Overall, The Nectar Room is perfect for a memorable night out, great ambiance, inventive menu, amazing service, and top-tier cocktails. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had girls night here and it exceeded our expectations. We had been wanting to try the restaurants at the Wave Hotel and this just happens to be the one we settled on. The place is gorgeous, the service was a 10/10, and the food was absolutely amazing. I will absolutely be going back!

Get in we're headed to The Nectar Room for date night. This spot used to be Haven ( I've done a review on them previously) & it's located inside the Wave Hotel . It has had a Makeover with a new name , new menu and some new entertainment! We made a reservation for 10:15pm, but we headed to the Wave hotel earlier since it's a bit of a distance & we knew there would be other entertainment while we waited . We checked in at about 9:30pm & they sat us right away ! They were pretty pack with a consistent flow of people leaving and being seated. If you can't snag a reservation you can walk in and sit and/or stand at the bar. Lisa was our waitress and she was Amazing! After looking over the menu we started with drinks we had a total of 4 drinks . UBELIEVABLE MARTINI, WASH DAY FASHION, GOLDEN HOUR & I can't remember the last one it came with bubbles . For food we were hungry so we both ordered a BUN IN A MILLION. This was def a full meal def not a small plate. The entertainment was 10/10 they had a drummer , saxophonist & dancers through tore the evening . We left around 11:30pm & it had started getting even more packed. This place makes for a great date night and/ or girls night out . We will def come back.

Great after hours club at Lake Nona Wave Hotel. We had some terrific bourbons there and the live entertainment was great as well.

Nice place for a drink and small bite. They add gratuity to the drinks so watch your bill. Dress up and have a good night here.

Within a few minutes our waitress came to take our order and answer questions. The waitress was really nice and helpful. We just stopped by for drinks today and no food. We ordered a Bacardi and Coke, Old Fashioned, and a cocktail called Heart Beatz. The Bacardi and Old Fashioned tasted normal. The Heart Beatz was a very unique tasting drink, it wasn't a strong drink nor was it weak. It had a very pleasant taste of pomegranate as well, I could've drank these all night long. Overall, the atmosphere was nice with the live music, the decor fun, service wonderful, and drinks delicious. The drink prices are on the expensive side but everything else was perfect.

You can also order some light bites and entrées from the restaurant pecan. We did order the pork belly Al Pastor and it was phenomenal.

The corn beef empanadas was surprisingly yummy, I didn't think it would be very yummy but it was. The brussel sprouts we always get because it's the best bussels ever. I usually get the chicken pad Thai because who doesn't love pad Thai, it wasn't too sweet which I prefer. My hubby got the curry, its very favorable but would have been well balanced with rice. The puff rice is not enough to balance the flavor of the curry. Our service was great! Always attentive but too attentive, our waiter always made sure our waters were filled and if we needed anything.

I really wanted to enjoy this place because the concept and atmosphere are modern and inviting, but…read morethe overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant was extremely busy, so I expected a bit of a wait. However, the service was much slower than expected. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and one of the four kids' meals we ordered never came out. After waiting around 45 minutes, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, the manager approached us and immediately became argumentative about how many kids' meals had been ordered. I wasn't looking for a confrontation--I simply wanted the missing meal. I actually had to stop the conversation and tell him that if he came over just to argue, I wasn't interested. That interaction really left a bad impression. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The blue crab dip was easily the standout of the meal--rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It's absolutely worth ordering. The edamame was also well prepared and made for a great appetizer. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was the complete opposite. It arrived ice cold, lacked flavor, and was one of the most disappointing entrées I've had. For roughly $45 between my meal and wine, I expected a much better experience. While I appreciate that they offered a Kids Eat Free promotion, the long wait, missing meal, and poor handling of the situation overshadowed that benefit. The restaurant itself has a sleek, contemporary atmosphere that's great for groups or families, but the lack of attentive service and the manager's approach to customer concerns made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope they've improved since my visit, because the blue crab dip alone deserves recognition, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

4 1/2 stars! We came here for our anniversary recently, dressed to the nines and expecting the…read morerestaurant to be ... more formal and dressy than it was. There were plenty of people who didn't look even 'business casual' much less the 'dressy' listed here in Yelp. We were seated and got our drink order in ... and waited several minutes. We had already decided on our orders when our server first arrived at the table, bearing menus listing the courses for the prix fixe five course 'Taste of Bacan' menu. (There was also a prix fixe seven course offering, but no menu for it??) We changed our minds and went with the five course offering ... and waited several more minutes for the first course to arrive. (Fortunately, the delays in service ceased after this.) The food was amazing! First up was a Lobster Burrata Tostada, on a little four inch crispy corn tortilla with sweet notes from the passion fruit. Next up was the Florida Snapper, beautifully cooked, with a loose mofongo and fennel shreds, but served on a bed of curry sauce which was too spicy for us. It was at about this point when the Bread Service we added showed up: a good-sized loaf of warm bread, heavily seasoned on top, paired with a chorizo/ricotta spread that I didn't care for. Then the Pork Belly, so soft and delicious. The last entree was the Carne Asada, served medium rare (off-putting to those of us who prefer our meat cooked), but delicious when eaten with the salsa and corn side. We finished up with the Tres Leches cake. I'm not usually a fan of Tres Leches, but this again was superb, contained in a dark chocolate shell, garnished with little chocolate/crispy rice balls. I appreciated that they had zero-proof mocktail options, and tried the El Dorado. I didn't care for it, though, as the drink changed flavors twice as I worked through the layers, and none of them were particularly tasty. Service started out very slow, but improved once the food started coming. My soda was refilled proactively, and the descriptions of the courses were interesting.

The service was incredible to start, but slowly fizzled out as the meal went on. The cadence that goes with a tasting menu went completely out the window as the second half of the course took twice as long as the first half. The wine pairing was exceptional, highly recommend it. Now the real problem, the food. The food was good. A couple items were really good. But honestly nothing was great! There is a lot of potential here, but this place is truly bordering on not being worth the cost. I wanted to have a different experience. In fact, this was the first restaurant we experienced once in town because I'd been waiting. It unfortunately was not worth the wait. You won't hate your experience here, but you may feel like it wasn't worth the money.
