I love this park! Expect more than a relaxed day outdoors. There are several food trucks with a variety of food options and a couple of bar food trucks as well. This park is well laid out with food trucks close enough to each other that you can hop around, but at the same time, not feeling crowded at all. There is a big variety of food options for everyone, which is great because we had a large group of about 12 people with us. The park is also decorated very pretty. There is an open eating area with many picnic tables so everyone has a place to sit and eat. I loved that they had a band playing. Nice touch. Restrooms are clean. You can park across the street in the parking garage for free, which is a nice. There are also plenty of stores and shops around this park. There was also a farmers market happening at the time I visited the park so we checked that out. I highly recommend this park and I'll be back soon. read more

This collection of container food stalls/courtyard/recreation is a novel and fun concept for the metro Orlando area. They are several food stalls and drinkeries to indulge from as well as a sand volleyball court, kids play area, lots of seating, music and lights. The layout and the area is nice and for holiday time the premises are decorated with festive adornments. The variety of offering is pretty diverse with seafood, pizza, taco, bbq, flavored lemonade, margaritas, to name a few. Service was prompt and friendly. I will be back to visit when I'm back in the area when it's open. read more

We spent nearly $50 for two lobster rolls, and the portions were tiny. The lobster was supposed to be hot, but it came out cold, bland, and tasteless. The drinks were also disappointing. Some mixed drinks were clearly pre-made and still cost $15, and they were not good. We also paid $20 for ice-cold nachos, which was frustrating, but we were hungry. Overall, this was not a good experience. I've given this place many chances, but I wouldn't bother coming back. I don't want to waste my money again. It's very overhyped. Unfortunately, it's one of the only hangout spots in Lake Nona, which is probably why it stays busy, but that doesn't justify the prices or quality. read more

Last night I went on a date-ish to boxy Park with a gentleman that I met. I have not been to boxy Park before it was a $5 cover charge per person for the live entertainment. They had a live band playing throwback songs as well as a DJ according to my knowledge boxy park is a bunch of different food. Storage container unit units dressed up to be either a restaurant or a bar the gentleman that I went with; it lives near the area, so it was a fairly close drive for him. I got a margarita from the margarita truck, I had a ginger beer cocktail as well from one of the bars that had all the seasonal offerings. It was definitely bumping in the evening definitely a hotspot to go to. They also had a vendor market and fair as well as a public parking garage to park in. I definitely wanna come back here. It is such a fun location. I'm not sure if they do the music every Saturday, but I'm gonna check on the website to see if they do because this was such a great way to get out and have some fun. 10/10 read more

I always thought this place was called boxi park because all of the way its set up, I was wrong. I have been to a few stands here and the food is ok. The experience is different than anything else here in Orlando. Live music, food options that span all ethnicities. I like that Park Pizza has a stand here so I can always grab a slice or a full pie. The slices are huge, so no complaints. They also have a volleyball area with multiple courts. In the fall/winter it gets busy since the weather is so nice. In the spring summer people will still come out and have some pick up games which is nice. A play area for kids, games for rent. Its the perfect chill vibe that has something for everyone and super affordable. Its also great for groups as seating is plentiful. They lemonade stand here has so many flavors to choose from and you can do a mix and match. The frozen drinks, they have a donut shop, so many options. If you're looking for a casual vibe, with some energetic vibes, I would definitely recommend. read more

I've been coming here ever since boxi park opened and was still a "trial". I will say it's the best place to go to with a kid outdoors. I took off a star because sometimes the service is slow (even when it feels it should be) which is kind of consistent among all the businesses I have tried here. The actual park itself is around a 4*. It looks like there are lots of fun activities, plenty of seating and shade, security at the entrance to make sure kids don't run into the street, and live music. There's plenty of free parking in the nearby parking garages. It is also very dog friendly and we saw lots of dogs there! But unfortunately, the food was just okay. We tried The Grill Next Door, which as a pretty good 3-4* burger. The truffle fries at Claw and Order were expensive and not very good, like around 2*. The ice cream and brownies from Ice and Easy were good though, around a 4*. It's a cool place to check out, but we wouldn't go back there to eat necessarily. read more

Our Fall event is being held here and the music is playing while we wander around, selecting our lunch at the various food vendors in place. The nearby parking buildings were perfect for not needing to run around on a rocky grounds area trying to leave you car outside in the elements. Boxi park is such an adventure! Around every corner, there's something new to see - from bounce houses for the kids, a playground, arts and crafts, to live music for adults and random food truck and cocktail trailers. Every time we've visited they've had another special event going on, and seem to really cater to the community. The only downside is to make sure that it is not a day that they're charging a cover and that there are plenty of seats near a cool breeze fan. It can get really hot! I love coming out to Boxi Park! It's one of those places where one can go on a date or hang out with some friends. Today we enjoyed it, by bring our granddaughter to come play in the playground, while we hear live music and have tv to watch live sports. Here is my take on the food I've tried: Claw & Order: 5/5 tried three rolls - Maine Style, California and the Claw & Order Original - all three were incredible!! Plenty of actual lobster and crab meat - perfectly cooked, not fishy at all and FULL of flavor. And omg the buns! The buns were perfectly toasted and airy and soft and amazing!! Cañonita Street Taqueria: 2/5 tried their coconut shrimp and carnitas - very underwhelming. Not enough shrimp, was kinda fishy. Overall lacking in the favor department as well. Won't be back. Fowl Play: 0/5. Tiny cold chicken sandwiches. The chicken was dry and extremely rubbery and chewy, no flavor or any of kind of sauce on it. Toppings were underwhelming. Buns were cold and dry. Honestly very surprised by how bad these were. Won't be back. Service at all three was good, staff seemed professional and efficient. Overall the entire Boxi park area was maintained well - clean, had decent restrooms as well. Honestly, food wise, I will mostly only be back for Claw & Order. Cannot recommend this enough! Came over here to try out all the spots but it was Sunday night so it wasn't as hoping as a Friday or Saturday. Lots of area to sit and dine, a couple areas to choose for dining for kids and adults. They did have a volleyball net area and a playground for the kids. Drinks are a little expensive as the cheapest one $12. Large screen TV to watch any games or events. Self service walk up to order and bring to your own table. They also do have heaters to be able to sit next to for warmth on cool nights. They also had a fireplace to sit around so that was cute. That should have told me to stay away. Ordered a Chicago dog. Full size 16$ half size 9$. I ordered half dog. I kid you not, it took 10 minutes to get a dog. Let me say, I love Chicago dogs. This was not a Chicago dog. Here's why. Served on half a baguette which was cold and hard. Baguette! The dog was cold. The Sport Peppers were not Sport peppers. The pickle spears were microscopic. The tomato was unripe. The relish was not Chicago relish. No celery seed was used at all. I took one bite, did the right thing and threw it in the trash. Went to Chroma for an excellent meal. I've read the reviews regarding Boxi Park. The response to people's food complaints is standard. " We will pass this on to our Executive Chef and culinary team." Boxi Park is a nice spot to spend time with the entire family and have something for everyone. This visit was on a Saturday afternoon and the weather was perfect - clear skies and not too hot at all. We had kiddos in the group and they had a great time in the playground area - which had a group and large group of children for them to play with, was clean and within vision to keep an eye on them. There are a few bars, giving a good number of options for a drink. For food there is a taco spot, burger spot, fried chicken spot and lobster roll option. While there are a good number of options, I do wish there were healthy options included. There was live music while we were there, which was fun, and goat yoga with the cutest little goats! I kept hearing about this place for a couple of years now, and while we were up visiting family; my husband and I decided to go head over to Boxi Park. We decided to go before 5 PM after reading that they do a cover charge per person of $5 dollars. The garage is close by, and parking is easy. We noticed they have a way to convert cash to what I think was called Boxi credits? I can't recall, but it's due to the fact that they don't take cash here. It was probably 30 minutes after it opened at 12, but the inside was extremely empty for a Saturday. There were a couple of families here and there, but it was totally empty that even some of the food vendors looked like they were closed. We ordered at the Canonita box as I wanted tacos and did the 3 for $10. I ordered the carne asada taco, chicken tinga, and the cochinita taco. Came out quick, and I honestly loved them all. I'd say the size could've been a bit bigger, but then again, these are corn tortillas, which are usually smaller in size. It's still incredibly delicious. My favorite was the cochinita taco, the pork was so tender and soft I couldn't get enough. Although the carne asada was a close second. I loved the cilantro in them, just added a little extra flavor to it. I really was tempted to order 3 more! We were on the fence about ordering drinks, but once we saw that a margarita was $14 dollars for the amount you get, we decided against it. Maybe they tasted great, but I couldn't justify myself to buy one. We ended up leaving after we had our tacos. I'm sure this place is better at night or when they have events and/or live music. Finally came here after a couple years of hearing about this place and seeing how darn close it was to family, I finally had the chance to. Unfortunately, it will most likely be a one and done visit for me. I'm glad I got here before 5pm on Saturday because they actually have the audacity to charge a $5 fee for each person (including kids) after this time. Parking was close by and it took a couple minutes to walk to the entrance. There is a little booth you can convert money to card because it is a cashless place. The worker at the front wasn't overly friendly and barely said anything as we walked past into the little area. The place is nice with a handful of clever themed boxes such as claw & order which served lobster dishes. I decided to get three tacos from Canonita box and when I ordered each of the tacos, the lady taking my order looked at me like I was nuts. I ordered the "carne asada" taco which she says "oh you mean the grilled beef?" yes, what I said lol as well as the chicken tinga and the cochinita tacos. They were average size but I will say, the flavor that each of them had was wonderful and powerful in a great way! The meats on all the tacos were perfectly seasoned and the toppings were phenomenal as well. The three tacos were ten dollars so it's not too bad because you're paying for the area you're at as well. We decided to not get anything to drink because drink prices were crazy for about 8oz of margarita, ringing in at a start of $14 and going upwards from there. After about twenty minutes we left because after you eat, there's not much to do. They do have live music in the afternoon but you also run the risk of having to pay the door fee just to see them, when you can stand outside the gate surrounding it and hear the music from there. Canonita street taqueria: located in boxi park. I tasted a yummy bite of a taco at the yelp noir event. So flavorful and juicy. This flavor comes from how they slow roast the pork. Marinating the pork in a strong acidic citrus juices adding annatto seeds which gives it that rich orange color and adds another layer of flavorful goodness. The taco also had homemade tomatillo salsa, pickled onion and cilantro. Squeezed the slice of lime on the top took bite and the burst Of flavors are out of this world. Well done.
