Amazingly aesthetic dining area and community spaces! Brunch was seamless, their wait staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I finished everything I ordered, then still had time to play so I was full but not stuffed. Love this venue for easy evenings or events.

This place is for members only but because of an event that was hosted there, I got to spend the day there for brunch and pickleball. Food was pretty good, I gave my feedback on the food to the staff directly. I actually returned for brunch 2 weeks later and saw improvements based on my feedback, which was such a lovely surprise. Although not pictured, the shrimp and grits was AMAZING (Pro tip: Ask them to add a little cheese to the grits!) The late check out drink is so yummy and feels like an island escape. Staff is amazing. They really make sure you have a good experience and they're thorough. The ambiance is chic and on the quieter side. I wish they would open to the public more!

Super swanky venue. They just opened about a week but was really empty and in a kind of hard spot to locate. It is a members only spot but they couldn't turn away the only people that was at the place. Thought the restaurant was opened to nonmembers but guess it's not. Their website didn't say much - no menu, no phone number, or reservation button. It was super easy to book a reservation through Google tho which was odd because they didn't even know about it Staff were friendly and even got a tour around the place. 1 large indoor court with lots of room for a large event, 2 indoor courts in another room that's spacious as well but not as large. 4 outdoor courts with a nice set up with a tent on one side with good lighting The restaurant is very nicely done, has old school mixed with new school. Menu was ok. Branzino was a good size, butterflied and deboned. Chimichurri could have used more garlic and flavors overall. The tuna chu toro was kind of a joke. Seemed lke about 2 normal pieces of tuna cut into 6 pieces. Super small pieces with toppings crammed on top. Tallow fries were just regular fries. Came with ketchup, Dijon mustard and ranch. Ranch was the best one for me It was pretty coo to find out their coffees come from a popular coffee shop around town - Lineage They just opened so they're going through some growing pains even though they just had their soft opening. But I can see this place being good for events and big groups. They got open plays at the outside courts

We had a wonderful experience at Hamlin House!! From being welcoming greeted as soon as we entered to when we left and everything in between. It was perfect! The vibe of the entire place is like a relaxing lavish hotel lobby. Our waitress greeted us by name (listed on the reservation). She was very attentive and provided her recommendations for food. We started with the Pog-Star Martini and the Night Moves bourbon drink. Both drinks were delicious. The martini included a side of champagne to top the drink and the bourbon drink included a pocky chocolate stick. We heard the bread was not to be missed and we now understand why. It was amazing! Don't skip on this. It's worth every calorie. My only wish was that the bread was unlimited (aka bread service) rather than just 1 loaf. We then moved on to salad. We ordered both the Caesar salad and the wedge salad. Both were very tasty with enough to share. The dressing on both were great. For dinner, we got their 2 different pizzas, artichoke lasagna, and the branzino (fish). Everything was delicious. The fish was missing a side, like a vegetable. Finally, we ended the night with their 2 recommended desserts...the pineapple dole whip and the chocolate cigar cake. Both were amazing! We especially loved the presentation of the dole whip. Orlando is so lucky to have this restaurant and club. The calming feeling that you get being here is amazing. I'm sure it's due to the color choices, decor, and vibes. This place is definitely not to be missed. Give it a try before they close out their preview to non-members. One note...the restaurant is a little pricey. However, for the wonderful service, Michelin-starred Chef, great tasting food and drinks, and amazing vibes, it's worth the money.

Noir Bar is definitely one of my top BARS to visit on my short list of bars I enjoy immensely. I've…read morebeen coming since it opened, and I really cannot say I've been disappointed. The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

It evokes another era, the 1930s and 1940s, a hidden place where people escaped reality for a few hours and where every whispered conversation felt a little more dangerous than it should. There is something about saying the name out loud that feels almost mischievous. Even before stepping inside, it conjures images of old Hollywood glamour, forbidden romance, and the kind of longing that filled classic films. The sort of place where people met not because they had to, but because they couldn't stay away. The space itself more than lives up to the promise of its name. Death in the Afternoon is one of the most visually interesting places Orlando has to offer. It feels intimate, mysterious, and wonderfully removed from the ordinary. I couldn't help but think of The Great Gatsby, not because of excess or extravagance, but because of that same sense of romance, possibility, and yearning for something just out of reach. In fact, I visited twice in the same afternoon. My first stop was simply to satisfy my curiosity and see if the reality matched the image I had built up in my head. It did. So after completing the rest of my three-hour Mills 50 walk, I found myself drawn back for a meal and a chance to enjoy the atmosphere a little longer. The menu is limited, so choose wisely. The salmon entrée was excellent and easily the standout of my meal. The Caesar salad was pleasant enough, but the salmon is what I would come back for. As a perfect ending to the day, a dear longtime Yelp colleague joined me and we spent some time catching up on the latest news and gossip in our circles. Good conversation, a memorable meal, and an atmosphere that feels like it belongs to another time. Death in the Afternoon is not just a restaurant. It's the kind of place that stays on your mind long after you've left. Make sure your stay is not over 2 hours tho ..

It was refreshing, slightly spicy, and packed with so much depth and texture. Every bite was perfectly balanced and left us wanting more. We also tried the lamb lollipops with cilantro-mint sauce and lemon garlic vinaigrette. The lamb was cooked flawlessly, tender and flavorful. The sauces complemented it well, although the vinaigrette leaned a little heavy on the lemon/vinegar for our taste. For our entrée, we shared the whole grilled snapper, and it was phenomenal. The fish was incredibly tender and well executed with savory and light garnishes. We especially loved the pickled peppers and the green sauce. The combination of mango and passion fruit was something I never would have expected to work so well, but the chef absolutely nailed it. To finish, we enjoyed the classic Cuban guava y queso pastelitos, which were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol
