Orange County Brewers was a fantastic little spot to kill some time before our flight. Hubby and I hung out and each enjoyed a beer. He ordered the Florida Bird and I ordered the Big Orange. Both were very tasty, my favorite was the Big Orange which had a wonderful orange flavor. Service was friendly and fast. We would definitely stop by again if we had the chance.

Kirstin was fabulous and amazing and went out of her way to help passing travelers get a much needed drink before the flight. She is truly a gem and should be celebrated for her generous spirit and positive energy. She went above and beyond to make everyone's day special! Thank you, Kirstin and Orange Coast Brewerheart

This is a great place to have a nice cold beer while waiting for your flight. I found myself stranded for hours in the airport terminal due to holiday travel delays. The bar closest to my gate was packed, so I stared wondering aimless until I found Orange County Brewers. I'm so glad I did! There were plenty of seats available and I had a great experience. In addition to a great selection of beers, they serve liquor and food! My bartender was very friendly and they had an awesome music playlist with some of my favorite 90's songs. Another plus is that they have plenty of outlets which allowed me to charge my devices. I highly recommend this place for pre-flight beverages (and food too).

Within a few minutes our waitress came to take our order and answer questions. The waitress was really nice and helpful. We just stopped by for drinks today and no food. We ordered a Bacardi and Coke, Old Fashioned, and a cocktail called Heart Beatz. The Bacardi and Old Fashioned tasted normal. The Heart Beatz was a very unique tasting drink, it wasn't a strong drink nor was it weak. It had a very pleasant taste of pomegranate as well, I could've drank these all night long. Overall, the atmosphere was nice with the live music, the decor fun, service wonderful, and drinks delicious. The drink prices are on the expensive side but everything else was perfect.

They were super attentive of our every needs so we ordered the truffle fries, which were to die for we also ordered the tostadas with lobster and I don't even like lobster is just so fresh and delicious. You can also order some light bites and entrées from the restaurant pecan. We did order the pork belly Al Pastor and it was phenomenal.

The corn beef empanadas was surprisingly yummy, I didn't think it would be very yummy but it was. The brussel sprouts we always get because it's the best bussels ever. I usually get the chicken pad Thai because who doesn't love pad Thai, it wasn't too sweet which I prefer. My hubby got the curry, its very favorable but would have been well balanced with rice. The puff rice is not enough to balance the flavor of the curry. Our service was great! Always attentive but too attentive, our waiter always made sure our waters were filled and if we needed anything.

The restaurant was extremely busy, so I expected a bit of a wait. However, the service was much slower than expected. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and one of the four kids' meals we ordered never came out. After waiting around 45 minutes, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, the manager approached us and immediately became argumentative about how many kids' meals had been ordered. I wasn't looking for a confrontation--I simply wanted the missing meal. I actually had to stop the conversation and tell him that if he came over just to argue, I wasn't interested. That interaction really left a bad impression. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The blue crab dip was easily the standout of the meal--rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It's absolutely worth ordering. The edamame was also well prepared and made for a great appetizer. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was the complete opposite. It arrived ice cold, lacked flavor, and was one of the most disappointing entrées I've had. For roughly $45 between my meal and wine, I expected a much better experience. While I appreciate that they offered a Kids Eat Free promotion, the long wait, missing meal, and poor handling of the situation overshadowed that benefit. The restaurant itself has a sleek, contemporary atmosphere that's great for groups or families, but the lack of attentive service and the manager's approach to customer concerns made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope they've improved since my visit, because the blue crab dip alone deserves recognition, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Anyway I'm hungry, Bordering hangry, and I wanted something different. This place was well themed, I loved the colors and the fans. The hostess was really good and quick. I arrived and ordered an appetizer and a drink. It did take some time to get to me, but at the same time. It was BUSY. Although I got a table quickly not everyone was as lucky. I ordered the coconut mojito, water, and the spinach dip to start. The dip was tasty, chips crispy, and they served diced tomato and onions with it! I ordered the coconut shrimp tacos, with broccoli. I added some pepper to the broccoli but it was already seasoned so I made it a bit spicier. The sauce they had with it was a creamy delight. My husband ordered the kids grilled chicken and asked for it to be jerked. And it was perfect for him. The size and side of broccoli just right. Now to the adult portion of this review the alcoholic beverage was creamy, it was a good pour. The glass was unique. The added garnish of sugarcane was new to me and I was told to chew it. Just the right addition. All in all I was happy to be put in a different area then I'm used to as it allowed me to try something different.

So upon entry we were greeted and wished a Happy Anniversary from the hostess and then again from each person who interacted with us. I always appreciate attention to detail and small things that take notice. Our server and assistants were fantastic. There was never a time or moment to have even a crumb on the table that they weren't cleaning off. We both ordered the Moss as our cocktail, and my husband prefers a mezcal so he switched the regular tequila for one of the many they had to offer. He was also excited to learn new brands that most other places don't have. I enjoy a light and refreshing cocktail and that's exactly what Moss was with the cucumber and yuzu was perfect for this hot summer evening to start with. For appetizers we had the Nami nuggets which were fantastic, sliced thin, extra crunchy with lemon and dipping sauce, literally the perfect bite. My husband had the octopus (I'm not a fan), but he said it was the best octopus he'd ever had! We shared the lobster and fried rice for dinner and honestly we took a bunch home for leftovers because it was so much food! 2.5 pounds of lobster in total between the cracked shells and what's added to the fried rice. At the end we just went with the dessert they offered us for free because we were stuffed and couldn't eat another bite. We both tried it and agreed we weren't fans of lemongrass ice cream but we appreciated the thought. The pineapple compote and crumble were excellent though. Overall, Nami is a fantastic date and special occasion restaurant. Excellent food and service. We'll be back in the fall when the king crab comes back!
