    Smoked Turkey Wrap

An Airport Eatery With Really Good Food We had a long stop over in Orlando and wanted a little more substantial meal. I read about this place on various review sites so we gave it a try. It's a fairly large place with comfortable inviting décor. Jason R. was our server and was very personable. I had a couple draft beers that come with airport beer prices - Yuengling $12.50 and a Lone Palm Ale $14.50. Fountain Pepsi runs $4.25. For our meals we had a Southern Cuban Sandwich ($20.50) and a Smoked Turkey Wrap ($17.50). The Cuban was pressed and toasted perfectly and had all the right ingredients - ham, pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on Cuban bread. Totally delicious! It was served with twice fried French Fries that were great! The Wrap had smoked turkey, sweet pepper brie spread, arugula and marinated tomatoes rolled in a flour tortilla, served with kettle style potato chips. My wife loved it and it is a large wrap. Jason made sure we never went dry and provided top notch service. And he had a great smile. Check it out if you're looking for good airport food.

Second time stopping here on our way back home from Orlando and we even saw some familiar bartenders! Super super friendly and give great advice on drinks if you are unsure what you are in the mood for. We had an hour and a half until the flight and we opted to add some food too, both had the Cobb salad which I know it's a simple one but dayum... that was a great ass flavorful salad! I ate the whole damn thing and could go for another right now. Price wise it's not terrible for airport standards and it's wayyyy better than a kiosk sandwich. Will gladly keep returning here if our flights continue out of this terminal in the future

This drink was so pretty I almost didn't want to drink it. Very tasty as well. The chicken and waffles presentation was also great and it was delicious. Even though this is in an airport terminal, you feel separated enough to not realize it. Service was great too.

Nashville "hot" "hunny" sandwich. Didn't feel either...

This was the best sitdown option in the Orlando Airport with alcoholic beverages. I viewed the menu; looked good, I needed to plug in and charge my phone and saw plenty of options. A little disappointing though, as the place was advertised as southern food... I asked a patron next to me if the Nashville hot honey chicken sandwich was good and she said yes... but it was not; in my opinion... I live in Indiana; not considered "Southern" At All, but I could name at least 3 places that have more "southern" Nashville hot chicken than this place! But clearly it's a matter of opinion/preference. The chicken was Super crispy which I do like! However; it was not hot at all... and I am a wimp when it comes to "hot". I tasted no honey either. The sandwich had no heat or sweet. I expected to "see" some sauce on it and the bun was barely wet. I asked the server and he said that was the sauce. So I thought maybe it's IN the chicken or the breading and it was neither. There was half a spoonful of slaw and 2 sad pickles... ijs if you're gonna have to pay jacked up prices at the airport... which I expect, give me the fullness! We're talking about some sauce, pickles and slaw... minimum garish to the perfectly cooked chicken that would have sealed the deal! For the service; I'm torn. My server was quick, the other server who brought my food was quick to assist. My fries were cold and he quickly brought me some fresh fries to burn my mouth... lol-that's what I'm talking about! My server suggested a great wine pairing for my dinner, but maybe his wit or attitude was dryer than the wine choice. Being a former server, we should always introduce ourselves and he did not.. no big deal, so when I asked his name ( to give him a compliment) I looked at his name tag at the same moment and said ohh I would not have guessed as your name tag says xyz... he said that's my first and I go by my middle (or vice-versa versa) " but feel free to correct me about my own name" Well dang bro, I was gonna give you a compliment but not sure how to take that comment.. maybe dry humor, maybe sass... I don't know... but I'm gunna give him the benefit of the doubt because he was cool other than that, so it could have been my misunderstanding... Anyway, when you're traveling, trying new food, in a hurry or on a layover... I'm not trying to be difficult nor have any difficulties. Work with me! I am full and relaxed, so overall it's average

This was an ideal place for me to stop for lunch while traveling through terminal C on JetBlue. There are plenty of options where to enjoy your meal - they have a bar, table service, take out, I chose to get table service at the high top tables near the bar. I got the barbecue brisket flatbread which was so flavorful and filling. It was much better than grabbing fast food at the food court. Service from Jayme was fast and friendly. Pricing is very reasonable with the entire meal at just under $25 including tax and tip.

Stopped here while I was waiting on my flight to grab a quick lunch. I would say for airport food they had some pretty fair pricing options. I ended up ordering the shrimp tacos because I wanted something a little bit healthier. I did ask for no cheese, but when it came out, it did have cheese. They were happy to remake it. The shrimp tacos barely had any shrimp and they were pretty overcooked. I also wasn't expecting it to be as sweet as it was. I was expecting it to be very savory and maybe even a bit spicy. I wouldn't recommend it, I'd get something else, like a burger or chicken tenders. the person next to me was eating french fries and they looked super yummy so I had to get some as well. They were pretty good. Overall, it was OK. I would explore different options that are in the terminal next time.

Honestly, this was some of the best food I have ever eaten at an airport. Loved the decor, the service, and the food and drink. Bloody Mary might have been a bit average but it hit the spot. I would recommend their Cobb salad.

Turkey Melt with Kettle Chips and Pickle Spear

Before taking a flight in the lavish Terminal C, I stopped at Cask & Larder for a bite to eat. The eatery is divided into two: one side is a little market area with drinks and snacks to purchase, and the other side is for sit-down dining, with a bar in the middle. The employees were helpful and even gave me some ideas of what to order. I decided to order the turkey melt, which did not disappoint. It was served with kettle chips and a pickle, a lighter alternative to the usual fries. Thick pieces of bacon were in every bite, and the sandwich almost melted in my mouth (get it? Turkey MELT?) I was glad I stopped by Cask and Larder, and considering their extensive menu, I might try something else the next time I'm in the terminal.

My first visit to Terminal C, rumor has it there aren't many dining options after leaving the entrance to this ginormous terminal, so before taking the lengthy walk to my gate I decided to take advantage of this opportunity. I grabbed a seat at the counter / bar which I might add was clean and tidy. Sean my bartender / server approached me within minutes and gave me a most welcoming greeting and tossed a napkin my way in anticipation of my drink order, being I was still "working" I ordered a Coke and was offered a Pepsi product which I begrudgingly accepted. The menus are available via a QR Code printed on small placards scattered around the restaurant, so I hope someone in your group has a smart phone, I think we are at the point everyone does so it's probably a nonevent, I guess they may have paper copies if you don't have a phone but they aren't offering any or a glass of water. The menu is limited per category which makes it rather easy, I chose the double cheese burger after debating over the Cuban Sandwich or the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich - it came with fries that I must say were only okay these were accompanied by a small cruet of ketchup, I can't speak of it being homemade, a national brand or a food service knockoff but was okay. The Burger: The Brioche Bun was fresh, the tomato and lettuce were fresh, the two beef patties were of good quality and the cheese was pretty good as well. I splashed some ketchup on the buns since I didn't request any mayo or mustard and again I wasn't given the option, the burgers came medium and they were juicy so the natural flavors came through and weren't masked by an condiments or pickles. It was a pretty good airport burger. The service was friendly, professional and attentive and the price was what I expected. After cashing out I made the long walk to my gate and it appears things are opening up so there are food and alcohol options along the way I was assigned Gate 232 which is quite the walk and I passed a number of retail establishments. The Cask & Larder was a good choice although I'll probably try a few others in the future...

Impossible patty cheeseburger with fries and a side of beet salad
    Jayne Y.

If you're in Terminal C, Cask & Larder is the best place to grab a meal. They offer good food, comfortable seating, a pleasant atmosphere, and great service. I had at least 2 hours before my flight, so walked around to see what Terminal C had to offer. After a brief look at the menu, I stood in line and sat at the bar to order my meal. It was a Friday during Lent so I ordered the following: Impossible patty Cheeseburger with fries - this was good. The description said that it was supposed to include a "double" patty but it only came with one. No big deal, I really didn't need 2 patties. It was tasty and hit the spot. Beet salad - I didn't enjoy this. The granola and sweet topping were not complementary to the beets and goat cheese. I barely touched it. Service was speedy and efficient. The table was large enough to accommodate my iPad, so I was able to work at the same time. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for a quick bite since we only had 1 hr before boarding. There was a long line, but some space at the bar, so we sat there. Service was pretty quick which is good.goof. The food was good. I had the pork sandwich on pretzel bread. I thought it was pulled pork, but it came out with pork belly, so I could have just read the menu wrong. It still was good. My BF got a Cuban sandwich. He said the meat was dry. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese. It's white cheddar. The sauce was creamy. It just probably would have been better with bacon crumbs or prosciutto on top. Otherwise it's just regular.

I've been wondering for a while where to get some good stick to your ribs so food, so when my wife told us that Nikki's Place reached out to her to come try some authentic soul food, I had to join her. We had to make sure to get an array of different things to try as much as possible. So we ordered.. smothered pork chops, fried catfish and shrimp, lemon butter chicken wings, red rice, Collard greens, Lima beans, black eyed peas, cornbread, candied yams, mac and cheese, and some onion fries.. with some sweet tea. I want to tell you, every bite I took had me closing my eyes and smiling. My only complaint was the lima beans were a little bit salty, but when I ate it with everything else it didn't really matter. The lemon butter fried chicken wings were absolutely amazing. I have not tasted anything like that in my life. You can't go there and not get them. You need these wings. I'd also like to say that all the sides are meat-free , so vegetarians come get some . We ate till we were full, and we had enough to take home as well. We took an order of bread pudding home for dessert and that was absolutely delicious too. Overall absolutely great food. The staff took care of us very well. Highly recommended!

My son got the fruit punch mixed with lemonade. I like to get half sweet and half unsweetened tea. We commenced to ordering. We all got a side of cornbread with our meal. We devoured. We got our fingers and mouths all sauced up and messy. We feasted. Everyone loved their meal and I felt like a hero for suggesting this fine, homey establishment. We decided that we couldn't fit dessert but greediness prevailed and we got desserts to go. Red velvet cake, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and lemon pound cake. The bread pudding is one of my faves. The banana pudding was nothing to write home about. Could have used some fresh bananas cut up in there. Last but not least, I have to mention our beautiful server, Audrey. She handled our table with a winning combination of love and skill. She has a lovely smiling face and her warmth shone through and made our dining experience that much better. I'll be back and will continue to introduce folks to this tiny treasure of a place.
