Sunshine Diner is located in Terminal C of MCO. A plus is that this place opens early. We were hear for a 7:30am flight and were in this restaurant around 6am. The staff is very friendly and we received some great service. They pointed us in the direction of some of the breakfast specials they have had and we ordered the sandwich and the buttermilk pancakes. The portions are decent if you're not too hungry and want to share. The food was good and came in a timely manner...something much appreciated when you're in an airport and trying to eat before catching a flight. The ambiance was "airport" LOL meaning it was fine and the vibes were good. Like I said before, the staff was really great and even offered to fill up our water bottles with ice and water for us in lieu of asking for a glass of water to use. The Sunshine Diner got the job done for an early breakfast!

Seated pretty quickly. The seater was not the friendliest but our server was great. Food was good and prompt.

Pretty decent airport establishment. Their food was all very tasty and very fresh! They weren't too busy on a Saturday afternoon, so we were in and out relatively quick. Overpriced, but that was to be expected with airport food. Definitely worth a visit if you need quick and reliable food in their airport.

Delicious, friendly, and perfect location. I was heading out for a trip and was looking for something to eat. I came across the Sunshine Diner in terminal c and was thrilled. I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Chris, he was great. Knew the menu, made a mean drink, and had a great personality. I had a side of fries, two empanadas, the smashed potatoes, and some delicious drinks. It was a great location watching people running for their flights and I can't wait to go back.

I was traveling out of terminal C and the options near my gate were limited. I am sure the restaurant knows this and that's why they feel justified charging these prices. My server looked like he was losing a little bit of his soul with every passing minute. I don't blame him though... I probably would too working in that environment and dealing with tourists. I decided on the grilled chicken platter. It was surprisingly tasty! I do wish there was more broccoli. Will I return? Most likely not.

Airport food usually doesn't have the best reviews. This was the highest rated place in terminal C so that was what brought me here. I would say my experience was just average for an airport. Nothing was personal or overtly friendly until it was time for me to pay and a different woman than my waiter came over with my check and asked if I wanted a refill on my drink ... maybe if I was still eating but I'm ready to leave at this point. My waiter didn't check on me ever. My flatbread was decent for an airport. There is a bar you can sit at here. Price was high as expected for an airport.

This was a place we came across prior to boarding our plane to Jamaica. The server was pretty nice and attentive. The place wasn't too crowded ether and clean. I ordered breakfast but without any meat protein but the server was actually able to give me avocado which I thought was great! I paired my breakfast with coffee and it was delicious. I love diners like this especially when you are at the airport. Food came out hot. Definitely would come back!

I was at the Orlando airport waiting for my flight and I decided to get breakfast and decided to give Sunshine Diner a shot! The food and service were amazing! The ambience was that of a typical diner. I had breakfast plate with eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes and toast with a cold brew coffee. I would definitely check them out again for breakfast if I am back at MCO for a morning flight.

Arrived early? Got through security quickly? Hungry, teetering on hangry? Caffeine deficit? Needing a Mimosa? Make sure you head to the Sunshine Diner by Art Smith. Located in the departures of Terminal C at Orlando International Airport. It's across gate 236. The Diner has a quick to go market and a side for table service. There is ample seating, varied with tables and booths. Singles, doubles or groups. The hostess sat us and promptly our server came over & took our drink orders, coffee, water and apple juice. The menu has plenty of options, platters, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and oatmeal. Lunch sandwiches and specialty drinks, mimosas, lattes and teas. My husband ordered baconeggandcheese, made with 3 scrambled, eggs and very crispy bacon, on a brioche bun. It is served with home fries. I got the Jose's breakfast sandwich, sunny side up egg, caremalized onions, avocado and bacon, on a croissant. Also served with home fries. Both sandwiches are good, the scrambled eggs are fluffy, the avocado fresh, the bun and croissant are toasted. The coffee was just ok. The service, excellent, attentive, friendly, efficient and quick. The prices range from $17 and up.

Came here to enjoy a drink before my flight and I love this area. It is so cute with delicious beverages. I didn't taste any food but the food I saw others eating looks out of this world for airport food. I got a blackberry Gin and Tonic which was unbelievable. I had a wonderful experience with Chris. He was unbelievably friendly, attentive, kind, and did his job well. He carried on great conversation while still working the bar top with ease. Next flight I'm here for I won't even give the other bars/restaurants a chance. Well done sunshine diner. Well. Done. !!!

I'm not a huge fan of the restaurant at Disney Springs (overhyped and over-priced) but I loved the Sunshine Diner at Terminal C AT OIA for my morning flight. I was immediately seated in a preferred booth and quickly placed my order of eggs, bacon, toast, and maybe the best OJ I've ever had in this airport. Friendly and fast service, I don't even think I was here 30 minutes and my food was served nice and hot. I would definitely return and recommend breakfast here to anyone before they hit the friendly skies.

Lovely spot in Terminal C. Service was fast, we got our food within minutes. Tasty breakfast but a little on the expensive side. Captive audience I guess .

I came to kill time before a flight. The service was great from start to finish! The server/ bartender recommended a few drinks since the key lime beer was out. I settle on a nice crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc with a Double Jack Daniel's shot. He upsold me for $5 why not! I will be fast asleep on this plane chin chin! The ambiance was calm and inviting. A Floridian diner feel. I will visit again next time I fly out!

When she returned, she told us about the specials, what some of her favorites are, answered any questions we had, and took our food order. Mom ordered the 1 Pancake. 1 Egg with Bacon and and Sausage. I had the Beef Short Rib Hash (Scrambled Eggs). The food arrived quickly. Jason delivered the food to our table and chat with us for a bit. My hash was served deconstructed and not mixed together like I expected. Everything tasted good. I especially loved the Grilled Biscuit that accompanied the hash. Grilling the biscuit added an additional texture and flavor of buttery goodness. Jason and Savannah were attentive and checked with us periodically to make sure we were good. Coffee refills were available. By the time we were ready to leave, the restaurant was almost full. Thank you Jason and Savannah for the good customer service and care. I would definitely return for that Grilled Biscuit.

On a Saturday morning, my boyfriend and I dined here around 9am. We were lucky to score one of the few parking spots since there isn't many and parking is tight. Upon walking in, I was fairly surprised at the size of the place inside since it looks much smaller from the outside. Service was pretty decent. Not overly personable, but had what we needed. I ordered a scrambled egg plate with patty sausage, home fries, and a blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was my favorite, it was really good. The home fries were less desirable. I wish they were crisper and maybe had onions with them to add more flavor. My boyfriend ordered his breakfast with an extra order of toast and we had to ask our server to bring it out because it was forgotten about. The food could of overall used more seasoning. Also for the quantity and quality, I thought it was very expensive.

This is one of the most friendly and welcoming businesses in central Florida, and I absolutely adore them for it. This place is counter order with full table service. I believe before the pandemic that you self served drinks, but the full service change has definitely been for the better. They've got a rotating list of specials that you can see on their instagram too. This place always delivers quality food. Their fried chicken is excellent, I've never seen an overcooked egg, their grits are amazing, their gravies are perfect, their biscuits are to die for, and their Mac n cheese is creamy delicious goodness. I haven't tried their lunch menu myself because I can't bring myself to not order breakfast. Between the Minnie pearl, three little pigs, seventh trimester, their specials, and even their sausage sandwich, nothing on a lunch menu could ever tempt me away. And don't even get me started on their bakery! Their bakery is a separate counter with cakes, cookies, handpies, brownies, and whoopie pies. Their selection is rotating and I've genuinely never been disappointed. Usually I have to take their stuff to go because I'm so full from breakfast, and it's usually pretty rich. This place is an Orlando staple and I hope they're open and successful for as long as they wish to be. I know I'll be back as long as they're still cooking.

We dined in last night for my friend's 27th birthday and we were seated on the patio closest to the sidewalk. It started to rain at one point and the manager came over to us to let us know that if the rain picked up or started blowing in towards our table, they had a table available for us inside. The rain ended up stopping, and we were safe to stay outside! We started off with the focaccia and it was nothing like I've ever tasted before. There was this purple Tasman sea salt on top and it was paired with an orange butter. It was hands-down, the best focaccia roll. I've ever put into my mouth. I almost ordered another, but I wanted to save room for dinner. My friend and I split the lobster flatbread and the flavors of the red peppers with the lobster and the special sour cream sauce was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the Chapman meatballs. They were very flavorful, and it sat on a bed of lentils and a green salsa Verde, which I believe had avocado in it. I need the recipe to these meatballs! They were delicious! I took a few bites of the ahi tuna stack, as well as a few bites of the Involtini. The tuna had a slight spicy kick to it, but was very fresh and flavorful. The Involtini was AMAZING. I almost wish I ordered this as my entree. It had this citrus yogurt that paired really well with the egg eggplant and zucchini and curry. I will definitely be ordering this dish the next time I dine in here! Once it was time for dessert, Maddie informed us that she would be giving us a no bake cheesecake to try. We had also brought in a Bundt cake for my friend's birthday and Maddie provided us with small plates and a knife to cut the cake. The no bake cheesecake was delicious, however I forgot to snag a photo! The restaurant gave my friends happy birthday cards, with personally signed messages from the entire staff. I've never seen anything like it before. This was very special and intimate. Throughout the night, Maddie was very attentive, asking us how everything was tasting, consistently clearing our plates, and filling our waters. Towards the end of the evening, she found out that it was most of our first times there, and she sent us all home with complementary macaroons. I haven't had a dining experience this great in a really long time, so Maddie really made my friend's birthday extra special. Give Maddie her flowers because she deserves it!!!! I will gladly be coming back to The Chapman in the future for a date night, and I hope to have Maddie as my server again!!!
