The hostess greeted me as soon as I was at the door, promptly sat me at my table and even though the restaurant was almost full, a waiter came to take my order within 5 minutes of sitting. I ordered The Works omelette with a biscuit instead of the toast and the Pineapple Express drink I had ordered previously. Everything came out fresh and delicious and I finished my entire plate. The portions of ham and sausage as well as the mushrooms in they omelette were generous, and the drink was refreshing and not too sweet. Even though it was pretty packed, the wait wasn't too bad about 20 minutes and the staff kept things moving at a good pace. I ordered the Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast with over-medium eggs and chicken sausage. Honestly, the French toast didn't really taste like tres leches. It tasted more like regular French toast with strawberries on top. However, the chicken sausage was really good and a nice alternative to the Million Dollar Bacon. Usually I love First Watch, and I finally convinced my husband to try this location, but we were disappointed. After our food arrived, our server checked on us only once. It was impossible to get her attention, she spent most of the time in the back talking and doing other things, and I tried waving several times. When we finally got someone's attention, a different server brought the check, and it took another 20 minutes to get a to-go container. We ended up paying and leaving. What normally takes under 45 minutes for breakfast took over two hours even though it wasn't busy. Stopped here after picking my sister up from the airport. This is conveniently close by and luckily, it wasn't too busy at all. I normally go to any First Watch for breakfast but since it was later, I opted for lunch...and million dollar bacon always! This location is in a little side plaza and there is a parking lot available which is great. The service was quick and efficient. The salad I ordered was filling, fresh and delicious. I got the watermelon wake up as a juice and it is so refreshing, especially with how hot it was that day. I'm not normally on this side of town but do enjoy that for the most part, all First Watch locations are consistent in quality and service. Came for a visit last weekend. First Watch is a good breakfast spot on the weekend because you can join the waitlist while you drive over. We did that on our visit and were seated shortly after arriving. I tried the seasonal cold brew, I believe it was honey and caramel cold brew with cold foam and that was the sweetest morning coffee I've had in a long time. Personally would not recommend that one. The biscuits and gravy however hit the spot and they have a few other favorites that won't let you down. It's nice because they have decent healthy options and it's always quick if you get there before the 10:30am rush. I do love their juices and normally I like their coffee. I ordered a Pomegranate Sunrise and my husband ordered the Cinnamon Toast cereal Milk. My sunrise was the perfect mix of juice with tequila and tasted perfect. My husband's cereal milk was good but tasted more like sweet coffee, barely any booze in it. For entrees we ordered the Million Dollar Breakfast Sandwich and the Honey Bacon Brussels Hash. Both dishes looked better than what they tasted. It was an ok meal, but both dishes lacked flavor. Was it the worst brunch meal..... no but it wasn't the best either it was just ok. The service and the pomegranate sunrise were the highlights of the meal, next visit I'm just going to stick to the regular food items instead of the seasonal. I'm so torn on this review because I had the worst experience with my food, but the absolute best experience with the service. I arrived during an extremely busy Saturday morning on a holiday weekend, so I'm hoping they were so rushed that my table's food was an unfortunate rare mishap. I ordered the tri-athlete which sounds so good, but it was so runny. Not the egg running I don't think, but my dish was swimming in fluids that it was hard to tell what was running. The dish is supposed to have mushrooms in it and I found one tiny little uncooked mushroom. There were some slightly cooked onions and some other stuff that was cut up a bunch and dripping wet. The egg was just placed on top of the wet veggies, so not an omelette as described. There was no cheese, and I believe it came with mozzarella. The worst was that there were pieces of egg shell on my egg. It made me nauseous. My husband got the quinoa bowl and is was watery and also overcooked. No flavor. Both our dishes were around $15 each! For 3 edible bites if that. My daughter got the yogurt bowl which was very good. It was yogurt with fruit pieces on it, and handmade granola. The drinks they make in house are also tasty. Those 2 things are tough to mess up. Our waiter was nice, but very busy and rushing. The other people we interacted with were beyond awesome. Someone stopped to compliment my husband's anime hat and took time to chat with us. The front desk asked us how our meal was and we must have shown our disappointment because they pushed for feedback. We weren't planning on saying anything about the dishes, but when we did, they went above and beyond to compensate for us and make it right. Usually there is a wait to be seated but I have never exceeded more than 15 minutes of waiting They offer a variety of breakfast and lunch options. I never been the one to ever review a franchise restaurant. But this place needs to do better. Came here today for Father's Day. Was given false hope. They said it would take 20 minutes for us to be seated. There was a good amount of people waiting so I was a bit surprised that they told us 20 minutes and that there were 4 parties ahead of us. Ended up waiting for 30 minutes, wondered what took so long. Went to check with the host. They ended up telling us that we were behind 10 more parties and would have to wait 45 more minutes. No apologies from staff. Decided to leave the place and settle for something else. Don't know what the food tasted like. We never got served. Ended up eating the air instead. The place was super packed and busy, I get it. But it needs to do better. If you see it being busy please give us a realistic time instead of giving us false hope and wasting our time. When the host seated us we sat there for over ten minutes waiting on a waitress/waiter to take our order or at least ask if we wanted coffee or orange juice... Nobody ever came. Amazing experience here. This was one of the last meals I had in Orlando and it was one of the best ones. After a week of eating nothing but park food, regular food was so good. The breakfast tacos were a highlight for me, the eggs, chorizo, and sauce went perfectly together! The black beans were a nice touch. I had the Chicken Quinoa bowl, this was more like a plate and the chicken and quinoa were bursting with flavor. I was a bit off-put by strong feta, but that's just me. The summer Tres Leches French Toast was tasty. The strawberry added an acidic kick. It was hard to tell how this is different from regular French Toast and I think the bread was kind of soft. Solid choice, still. The syrup comes warm. I didn't even know people did that. The heat makes the syrup taste less sweet, but it was so light and it went with everything. I tried the summer Mint Mocha drink and it was great. It was sweet and gave me that hit of coffee I needed haha. Overall, great experience and I'd gladly come back.
