Do you like breakfast? Do you like brunch? If you said yes to either of these, you've found the place to visit. First Watch is the current leader (in my opinion) of the chain breakfast/brunch places. Can you do better going to a local place? Yes. Can you do worse for what they serve? Oh so much worse. I like that you can put your name on the list before you leave home. I love their bacon. I love their options, but I usually only get the same thing about 75% of the time (the trifecta if you're wondering) and it's delicious. The things that keep this from being 5 stars? They overload their servers and wait times for both being seated and getting your food are longer than you expect. They've sort of worked on the seating wait by smashing more tables in together and they have SMASHED them together. Be ready to sit within arm's length of people anywhere you sit. You feel for the servers because they are hustling with a lot of tables. Remember to get the bacon. read more

The restaurant, like many ones in this chain, had windows along 2 walls giving it a light and airy feel. The seating is a mixture of tables and booths. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The menu has a good assortment and plenty of choices. I ordered the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The cost is reasonable for the amount you get, quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere. My meal was ~$14 without the drink. Today, I tried the whole wheat pancake with banana and almond crunch, which brought back fond memories of the Honey Bunches of Oats cereal I used to love. The biscuits and gravy were delightful, though I would have liked a bit more gravy. The SHISHITO BRISKET HASH bowl was great as well. I had great time here catching up with my friends after church. The wait wasn't long was about 15mins. We sat outside since the weather was nice. Didn't realize they served drinks there I had my usual biscuits and gravy and a mimosas. The service was great. The only thing the glasses need to be cleaned a little better we had to request plastic cups to drink out of. Thankfully they were nice about it. This particular location is in the Lee Vista Promenade, a nice outdoor mall that is close to Orlando International Airport (MCO), so this place is good for both travelers and locals alike. This mall is nice, well maintained and offer ample parking. In addition to the more traditional breakfasts, First Watch also offers healthy options. I have to say that when I have breakfast out, healthy is not what I am thinking. The omelets are a good choice, as are the eggs Benedict. My sister chose First Watch for a quick birthday brunch prior to her wedding weekend, so we stopped by to grab some food before the festivities began. For some reason, pumpkin was a big thing already in September (thanks, Starbucks PSL #iykyk) so there were a ton of pumpkin oriented items on the seasonal menu. I wanted something light (I mean, I needed to fit into my bridesmaid dress) so I ordered the power breakfast quinoa bowl. Ok so it still has 800+ calories versus the pesto chicken quinoa alternative's 660 but I was convinced by the ingredients. It was freaking delicious. No wonder it has 880 calories. I got my eggs poached and they were the perfect brunch touch. The roasted crimini mushrooms were meaty and savory and added so much depth to the flavor alongside the kale and tomatoes. The Italian sausage was also pretty tasty, although I wouldn't have missed it in the bowl. It was super filling (I could barely finish it) and I would definitely order again. So maybe next time I'll order bacon and pancakes. But for now, I may stick these gluten free power bowls! read more

Oh boy, when it comes to the service this place is a hit or miss. You'll either get great or lackluster service. Same goes for the food. I love that they serve a coffee pot when you want coffee, but although they have alot on the menu, not much of it is appealing to me. Alot of it seems like variations of the same exact thing. We checked in online then got to the restaurant a few minutes later. They sat us basically immediately because we wait we were willing to sit outside. We unfortunately didn't see a server for a good 5-10 minutes after we sat down. We ordered The Works Omlette with potatoes as the side, and the stack of two chocolate chip pancakes. We also got cranberry juice and iced coffee. The omelette was great! Filled with a lot of cheese and meats. We really really enjoyed the potatoes that came as a side to the omlette. Our only complaint with the omlette is that it was a little on the small side. The pancakes were great! We really enjoyed the multigrain flavor and texture of them and of course the chocolate chips were yummy. The pancakes were a good size for what you pay for. I'm surprised I've never reviewed this place. I enjoy breakfast at first watch and I prefer this location. On the weekends it can be very very busy. I'm happy that they know offer alcoholic drinks as well. I really like the cereal milk with cinnamon, rum and coconut. It has changed a but since I first tried it, it's alot less alcohol. Stopped for breakfast after seeing pulmonary doctor at the VA to celebrate after great results (no cancer). My wife had the Belgian Waffle and was just ok with it. I had the BLT Benedict and it was good, not great. We both had hot tea. The seating and service was just ok. My wife received syrup for the waffle as she was completing her waffle.
