Sandwiches, fries, sorullos and drinks

I first ate Meson in Puerto Rico in November of 2025 and it was really good. I was in Orlando and I found one opened and had to go in and eat. I was shocked that the food was exactly the same as Puerto Rico. the service very good, the restaurant clean and inviting. I ordered the Turkey sandwich and my husband the steak sandwich, he had a side of fries and I had sorullos. wow!! the sorullos con queso were delicioso. I will be back.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this location. i've been here several times and love it. First off, big El Meson Sandwiches fan. Used to eat there all the time in PR. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices are fair and food is delicious. Their bread is one of a kind. Whether it's some toast, a grilled cheese or a full on sandwich with all the condiments, this tasty bread makes a difference. They also serve decent pastries and good espresso coffee. They also have a variety of coffee drinks. Service might sometimes take a minute, but aren't great things worth waiting for? Finally, the times I have been there, there's always someone cleaning and everything looks spic-and-span. It might sometimes get a bit noisy, especially during lunch time, but still worth visiting.

Meson Sandwiches is located in a shopping plaza not far from the Orlando International Airport and is a decent enough place to grab a quick meal. Meson Sandwiches has been around since 1972. The first location was started in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. It has since opened multiple locations throughout Puerto Rico. It also has four locations here in the Orlando, Florida area. The staff here was friendly enough and the ambiance is okay for a sandwich place. The sandwiches were decent enough. Again, this place is convenient to Orlando International Airport so if you are either coming or going to the airport and want a quick meal, Meson Sandwiches is a decent enough stop.

Clean little sandwich spot with an interesting history, starting in Puerto Rico and bringing the PR sandwich/breakfast concept to Orlando. They've been around for a while which makes this place even cooler to see their growth from the island to here. They've got sweet bread, sides like quesitos, coffee. It wasn't too filling for me but if you love sandwiches this might be a great place to try some new flavors out. I plan on going back to try their breakfast options.

Breakfast sandwich

This is the best Hispanic style breakfast sandwich I've ever had in the continental U.S., it's like being in Puerto Rico. The staff is friendly and the decor is nice.

I've definitely given them many chances, but they keep screwing up my orders. I've ordered from the Lee Vista location four different times, in which 3 of those times, something has been wrong with the orders. First time: I ordered a large corn meal. Got to the office, open the container and there was oatmeal. Second time: I ordered at ham and cheese omelet sandwich, got a turkey sandwich. And today...I ordered a ham, egg and cheese with salad breakfast sandwich. Guess what...there was no salad. I've included pics of receipt and the sandwich as proof. The Restaurant has potential, but they really need to get their stuff together.

Can you picture Jar Jar Binks saying the name of this restaurant? "Meesa Like Meeson". Do you hate me now? This location in the Lee Vista area of Orlando was excellent. Very nice seating area with a friendly staff that explained how things worked. I've only eaten at one at a mall many moons ago and I will say this one seemed better than I remembered. She recommended the Caribe sandwich as one of their popular items so I ordered that for myself. We tried the corn sticks as one side and fries as the other and I will say I liked the fries better. The corn sticks just didn't do it for me for some reason. We also had a quesito thing which was flakey and had some type of cheesy filling inside. It was good but we were already kinda full when we ate it. It was a filling meal for sure and we didn't finish everything. It was a quick meal before a movie and probably saved me like $50 in snacks at the movie theater. I'd stop again for a quick bite.

Great restaurant! Good Puerto Rican food. You you go definitely try one of their amazing sandwiches. One will fill you up and it's very flavorful. This one is is a great location on Lee vista. I like to grab a sandwich and go shopping or to the movies close by.

Breakfast sandwiches!

We had breakfast sandwiches delivered and I was pleasantly surprised by the options that we were given. We had a chicken sandwich, which had small chunks of chicken and was a little spicy with the seasoning. I was my lest favorite because the chunks of chicken kept falling out of the sandwich. The beef was great! The beef tasted moist and the sandwich just had a little bit of lettuce and a tad bit of mayo on the bread. It was the perfect amount and blend of everything. Whatever bread they use for these sandwiches was amazing!

Criollo bread was the best! Eggs were soft and hot. Yum! A must stop for an all day-breakfast place.

I took my mother out for brunch to celebrate her birthday, and the service we received from our server, Joshua, fell well below expectations. Shortly after we were seated, Joshua approached our table ready to take our order. We politely asked for a few minutes to review the menu, but he did not return for approximately 15 minutes. I ordered the Market Hash with an English muffin, while my mother ordered the Monterey Club with a cup of soup. When our food arrived, we noticed that both of our spoons appeared dirty, preventing my mother from enjoying her soup right away. Additionally, my order came with whole-grain toast instead of the English muffin I had requested. While I understand that mistakes can happen, Joshua was nowhere to be found when we needed assistance. When he eventually returned, we requested a clean plastic spoon and the English muffin that was missing from my order. Unfortunately, it took another 10 minutes for these items to arrive. By that point, my mother's soup had gone cold, and the overall experience had left us frustrated and ready to leave. Despite the poor service, I tried to remain positive because it was my mother's birthday, and I wanted her to enjoy her special day. It was disappointing that what should have been a pleasant birthday brunch instead became such an unpleasant dining experience. I understand that restaurants can have busy days, and occasional mistakes are inevitable. However, attentiveness, professionalism, and basic courtesy go a long way toward ensuring a positive customer experience. Unfortunately, those qualities were lacking during our visit, and Joshua's service came across as inattentive and, at times, dismissive. As a returning First Watch customer, I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this particular location, and the service we received today has certainly made me reconsider returning.

We arrived just before 10am on a Saturday, and just beat the rush that lines up outside. This place is popping! Order at the counter and pay to have brought out to you. Beverages are also served to you, and you can request a refill. Very cozy place, and love that separately is the bakery so you can do dining, bakery, or both if you desire. What I Enjoyed: - I'm Not Throwing Away My Shot (Hamilton Menu): This scone was on the Hamilton Menu, which I thought was neat as a I'm a theater nerd. My boyfriend said he enjoyed it as it was not too sweet. The ingredients (white chocolate, raspberry, and blueberry) paired well together, and if we were local, he'd get again. - Oatmeal Cream Pie: This was STUNNING. Yes, all caps needed. I think this was one of my favorite baked goods since my cousin stopped her bakery stand selling the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I hope this is both a staple item, and we visit Orlando soon to get one! Yum! - se7en Benedict: Loved the biscuits as it tasted like a true southern biscuit. Loved the cheddar chive grits that I shared with my boyfriend who also enjoyed. I'd definitely order again! Definitely check out this place if you are in Orlando!

What a pleasant surprise it was to have dined in at Vanessa's coffee shop…read more You walk into an open-concept seating arrangement and you basically find your own available seating. There's a kiosk by the front where you can order your food and coffee or you can grab a seat and there's a QR code on the table that you can scan to access their menu. Both of the coffees we ordered were great. I ordered it hot (latte with flavored syrup) which was unusual, and my fiancée ordered hers iced (croquette iced coffee or something). Personally, I liked the flavor and depth of the hot coffee better. My fiancée ordered her pancakes and I ordered Vanessa's sandwich with chips on the side. Both were delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and the sandwich was served hot. The chipotle-like sauce was the key that brought all the ingredients together. I do recommend this place to everyone who enjoys great-tasting breakfast and brunch, and also is a fan of great-tasting coffee. I got the impression that this business is very religious. They have Bible scriptures on the coffee cups and on the walls. The reason for me giving it 4/5 stars and not 5/5 stars is that this restaurant is a self-service/pick up your own food by the window type. Even though we placed our orders for everything at once, my name was called three separate times to come pick up the four different items. I thought more than once how inconvenient this was. But we will definitely be back again in the future for their coffee and breakfast! Thank you Vanessa's Coffee shop for a great first time dining experience.
