    Florida Pancakes

We had Marissa as our server for our group of 8. She was wonderful and interact nicely with my grandkids at the table. We enjoyed all our meals which included the banana Nutella stuffed French toast, raspberry stuffed French toast, Western Omelet, Eggs Benedict, Florida pancakes, small stack pecan pancakes, egg combo with grits and kids eggs combo. We received our meals quickly. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived but it did get full by the time we left.

    Turtle Stuffed French Toast...... stuffed?

food was very cold... stuffed French toast was sooo disappointing. Definitely won't come back to this location but others may have more potential...

I forgot to take pictures. I had the eggs over easy with a side of bacon, English muffin and waffle. All of them are good. The bacon was nice and crispy. My hubby just had egg sandwich with bacon add he said, it was really oowie gooey goodness coffee was excellent! Our server, Maritza was very respectful and kind, gave us great service. There was a 10 minute wait but, for was worth it

We recently had another delightful experience at Keke's Breakfast Cafe! Overall, of the 5 or more Keke's we've been too, they've all had very quick and friendly service, and inviting ambiance, and a plethora of tasty food options! Today we opted for the chocolate chip pancakes which were not only massive in size, but both deliciously and generously full of chocolate chips! We also had a very cheesy omelet, garnished with tomatoes, and both fruit salad and wheat toast on the side. We left full, happy, and wanting to return to Keke's as soon as we could. Definitely recommend!!

I frequent this location often and the food and service is absolutely amazing. I had the chicken and waffles. This location is in the heart of Lake Nona.

Yummy no complaints except for the coffee.. always watered down. I need strong coffee with my breakfast .. Service was to be expected. Nothing outstanding and nothing underwhelming. Always a good spot to eat

We were dying for a place with fresh air and outdoor seating, so a colleague found Canvas and we were all completely on board. This exceeded all expectations. The outdoor table in a covered area on the lake was just what we needed and the space itself is beautiful. Our server was Elizabeth and she was someone who has a real gift for delivering great hospitality. We were a larger, last minute group and she really took great care of us so we were all grateful to be seated in her section and all said how excellent she was at her job. The drink list was awesome and they had a great variety of cocktails, mocktails, and wines by the glass/bottle. I had a watermelon ranch water to start, that was so light and refreshing, plus really unique. I then moved onto wine, but my colleagues ordered a variety of drinks like the Lake Side Collins, Espresso Martini, and Blood Orange Cosmo. One in our group who is pregnant really enjoyed the mocktails on the menu. We started with a few apps that Elizabeth recommended, including the whipped ricotta, buffalo chicken, and calamari. We had a lot of different food preferences, but everyone easily found something to order. I had a Caesar salad and truffle fries (the fries were good, but not truffle-y) since like a toddler, I filled up on apps, but everyone cleaned their plates. The portions are also HUGE - two of my friends split the mushroom calzone and a Caesar and it was probably enough food for 3 people. We ended by sharing the Nutella donuts at the table which was the best choice to wrap up a wonderful evening out after two really hard days of work. If I lived in the area, Canvas would be somewhere I'd want in regular rotation to visit - it was a great blend of amazing service, a beautiful ambiance and vibe, and wonderful food/drink options. The most difficult part was figuring out WHAT to order off this menu!

I swear this whole experience felt like a social experiment or something. We were quoted a 20-minute wait that turned into 40, which is fine, but when we got the "table ready" text and went up front, the staff didn't even know if our table was actually ready. Already confused. Then we get seated at a 4-person table. We ask if we can sit at the 2-person table literally right next to it (like... less than a foot away), and they say no. Instead, they have us pull apart the 4-person table ourselves to make it work... and we had to clean it too because there was still stuff on it. At this point I'm like ok so we're employees now? Then a manager comes over and asks us to pick up and rotate our table to make space for a couple with a baby. Mind you this is the SECOND time we've had to move our table. We do it... and then they don't even seat the couple there. So we just rearranged the restaurant for fun I guess. The hostess was also hovering and making small talk about a matcha I got from the coffee spot inside, which felt like she was trying to make up for the table situation but it just made everything more awkward. Also why are the water refills like that?? They kept coming by and pouring literal droplets instead of just filling the glass. And our server somehow had perfect timing in the worst way possible -- every single time my mouth was full, she would appear and ask how everything was. It became a running joke. At one point we were laughing so hard because we genuinely couldn't believe what was happening. The crazy part is the food was actually really good. We spent around $200, so I expected the experience to match. Overall... great food, but the service felt like a fever dream. At this point I'm just wondering when HR is sending my onboarding paperwork.

Positives the corn beef was nice and you almost had me that it may have been real hollandaise until that gritty floury aftertaste confirmed it was not. Something told me to look at the breakfast sandwich and I was shocked. I ended up ordered a chicken empanada and a tequeno in case I didn't like the sandwich because it looks awful (doesn't taste good either) In total with the additional purchase I spent $30. I feel like I got ripped off badly. They slapped two deli slices on this sandwich and they gave it to me on hamburger buns. This isn't what was advertised on their order screens or website. I wish I could get a refund because I didn't even enjoy the first bite and ended up not eating. The empanada was another disappointment. Flavorless boiled chicken mixed with some potato with a lightly seasoned rosemary crust. They give you some kind of garlic sauce with it and it's to distract you from flavorless food. The sauce can't always save food. Very overpriced for mediocre food. The coffee was the only decent item I had. Not even the tequeno was good and it's just a stick of cheese wrapped in dough. You're better off spending money at a drive through. For the amount of money I paid I am Highly disappointed and upset with this experience. Definitely do not recommend wasting the drive or your money to come here.

While Lake Nona offers several options, you and your BFF have found your sanctuary at First Watch at Lake Nona, a spot so popular that it seems to perpetually have a line out the door. The Mid-Day Breakfast Heist: "My BFF and I were on a mission. It was mid-day, the sun was high, and our stomachs were demanding breakfast with the kind of urgency usually reserved for emergency sirens. We needed two things: fresh, piping hot coffee and a meal that didn't involve a 20-minute wait in the Florida humidity. This place is so legendary in Lake Nona that there's almost always a crowd. Fate, however, was on our side. While the 'wait for a table' list was already hitting that dreaded 20-minute mark, we spotted the holy grail of hungry diners: the bar-height tables. We bypassed the queue, claimed our high-altitude seats, and got straight to business. First, the coffee. It wasn't just a beverage; it was a sure-fire 'wake-up and get-running' miracle in a mug. First Watch's signature Project Sunrise coffee, sourced from women-led farms in Huila, Colombia, was the true co-star of the show--rich, bold, and served by the potful. It perfectly prepared us for the main event: The Farmhouse Hash. This skillet is a masterclass in savory breakfast--a bed of seasoned potatoes, bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions, and tomatoes, all under a blanket of melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack. In a display of culinary individuality, we ordered it in two different styles. My BFF opted for hers as a fluffy omelet, while I--knowing exactly what I like--requested my eggs cooked well-done. The result? A fresh, savory masterpiece that satisfied every mid-day craving we had. And let's keep this between us--shhh--but this place easily takes the crown over Keke's. Whether it's the more upscale, modern vibe or the fact that the food never misses, it's our undisputed go-to. Just don't tell the rest of Orlando, or we'll never get those bar seats again.
