I got an egg white omelet with spinach, turkey sausage, and cheese. It was just ok. The size was small, there wasn't much spinach, and the sausage was very small and also not filling. I feel like I've had better omelets at ihop. The breakfast potatoes were meh. I like a different cut personally. They weren't cooked well, too soft. I don't know if I'd return. Let's me start off by saying , our waitress Ashley was wonderful and did her best as she was handed way too many large tables at the same time. For overall I have to give this a 3 as 2/3 kids orders were received later than the rest of the table which is issue number 1. Kids orders should come first always ! Second one of the orders came out with cheese slapped on top not even blended or melted and had to go back after already waiting longer than the rest of the table. We had to ask another waiter for utensils and napkins as well as water. I know we had 8 people but the hostess should have divided tables evenly amongst servers are we were celebrating birthdays and this took away from having an overall fun and great experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place. The service was very friendly, but the food and overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Greek omelette with country potatoes and a side of salsa. The omelette itself was good, but the potatoes had a noticeable bitter taste that was hard to ignore. My husband's potatoes had the same bitter taste. Even worse, the salsa tasted spoiled, so I couldn't eat it. We also parked in the additional parking area and noticed trash and trash bags lying around near the dumpster, which added to the poor impression. We recently had another delightful experience at Keke's Breakfast Cafe! Overall, of the 5 or more Keke's we've been too, they've all had very quick and friendly service, and inviting ambiance, and a plethora of tasty food options! Today we opted for the chocolate chip pancakes which were not only massive in size, but both deliciously and generously full of chocolate chips! We also had a very cheesy omelet, garnished with tomatoes, and both fruit salad and wheat toast on the side. We left full, happy, and wanting to return to Keke's as soon as we could. Nice staff and clean restaurant. If you're looking for a quick breakfast, this is not the place. It wasn't super long to get our food but not as quick as a breakfast diner. We noticed the staff did not use trays and would carry the food in a way that their clothing or body parts would be touching the food on the plates and that was an appetizing. I would suggest either a standard of only two plates per server or get trays. The food was average but 2 of our plates had hair in the home fries. We loved our Sunday breakfast. Wait was a little long but considering it was a Sunday... it's expected. Service and atmosphere was very nice. Very friendly hosts. The 2 hosts kept us informed us with updates of the wait time without asking. Our waitress, Christina, was excellent! Our large order of 4 people came out hot and correct. Walking into the restaurant and there was no one at the hostess stand. We waited a couple minutes for a younger boy to come seat us. We sat and our waiter was nice and asked if we wanted something to drink. I asked if their iced coffee had any milk alternatives such as oat, soy, or almond milk she apologized and said they didn't have any alternatives. I got an iced tea instead. Our server took our order and got a few small items I got eggs, bacon, toast, and sausages. The eggs tasted a little weird. After getting home from this location we both ended up having stomach pain and ended in the restroom. Apparently the eggs were expired. Now with places like Keke's Breakfast Cafe and First Watch, you have better options if you are seeking to eat out for the first meal of the day (and what I was told since grade school was the most important meal of the day). Keke's Breakfast Cafe is a hometown creation, having started here in Orlando, Florida back in 2006 by brothers Keith and Kevin Mahen. Back then it had the more straightforward name of the Florida Waffle Shop. This location was on Conroy Road and when the brothers started eying the horizon of expansion, they went with the name Keke's (which was a combination of both of their names) both because the name was perceived as more catchy and also because they could not obtain a trademark for the business name Florida Waffle Shop. From that humble beginning of one location, Keke's has grown to over forty locations here in Florida. The reason they have not expanded beyond the Sunshine State yet is that they have not saturated the market yet. The menu at Keke's Breakfast Cafe is filled with the usual breakfast favorites like waffles, omelets,eggs benedict and more. They also have a lunch menu, but I have only tried their breakfast offerings. All in all, my breakfast here was an overall winner. The food was very good, the ambiance was a great alternative to the standard greasy spoon breakfast joint with cheap chairs and chipped tables and my server was friendly, attentive and professional. This restaurant is disgustingly dirty!! My tea cup had lipstick on the inside and out. The manager Oscar stopped by the table to see how our experience was going. I shared with him about the lipstick and he laughed n said it was mine. Which I replied I was not wearing lipstick. He never offered to change out my cup, instead he walked away. We had to send one plate back because there was hair in the eggs n bacon. My grandsons omelette was not cooked. Beware if you eat here.
