As always, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I ordered the Rio Skillet, a Belgian waffle topped with bananas and strawberries, and a turkey BLT. The Rio Skillet was packed with flavor, with perfectly cooked eggs and a nice balance of ingredients. The waffle was light and fluffy, and the fresh fruit added a nice touch of sweetness. The turkey BLT was a perfect mix of savory and fresh, with the turkey being moist and the bacon crispy. The atmosphere at Village Inn is always welcoming, and the staff is attentive without being overbearing. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. I'll definitely be coming back!

Christine R. Was my waiter and she truly made me feel at home. The worst part of my experience here is that I had to finish my food in which it was so delicious, I did not want the experience to end lol. Christine truly made me feel like I was at home And the rest of the staff I interacted with was so lovely and kind. I can tell that upper management took their time, strategically hiring kind hearted people. I usually eat at Lechonera, and I saw "Village Inn" and I am so glad I stumbled across this gem, and will DEFINITELY BE BACK SOON!!

This is one of my husbands favorite breakfast spots! I like the breakfast here too! I wasn't a big fan of the current cinnamon pancakes however the rest of my food was pretty delicious. My husband always gets the French toast! If you are a French toast lover I would recommend trying theirs. The regular pancakes are also usually very delicious. The service is okay, the staff is nice but it's more of here's your food and go type of thing. I'm not sure if it's only me but I kind of find it rude to place the check on the table right when the food arrives. The atmosphere is fine they have cute/funny artwork on the wall , this location does need some renovations as last time we visited there was a leak.

I was so excited to try this place after reading the reviews, but my experience was horrible. First, I need to say that service was great. Our waitress Shawn was awesome. She is the sweetest lady. However, the food was horrific. I ordered the ultimate skillet plate. The potatoes, peppers, and onions seemed dehydrated, or previously frozen. The eggs were bland, sausage was all shriveled up, and crunchy (shriveled, and crunchy sausage?) one of the pieces of bacon was burnt, and the other wasn't fully cooked. I ate what I could, but immediately felt sick, and ended up spending about 15 minutes in their bathroom bringing it all back up. (IDK...) Maybe the cook was having a bad day. I'm not sure what the problem was, but that was my first, and will be my last time there.

V.I. in the Sunshine State (1 of 2 - St. Cloud, FL) This is currently the only Village Inn in what I'd consider the (sprawling and undefined) Metro Orlando area. I don't consider the Space Coast location part of the Metro Orlando area, even though you can take and make a "beeline" toward it. Yes, it was indeed Free Pie Wednesday when I went in. I called ahead and key lime pie was a seasonal pie currently being featured. They are "cool" here in that they will allow you to choose any pie slice, beyond the double crusted fruit ones, for a minor upcharge. I'm not a Village Inn expert, but I've come across some stores that don't let you do the swap and that's "jerky." I had the smothered chicken dish, which had mushrooms on it, as well as 2 sides and it made for a tasty and filling lunch. With it, I had coffee, which they kept refilling. It's hard to put together coffee and Florida, given that it's toasty in the Sunshine State. However, if indoors in air conditioned spaces, coffee is doable. The coffee, which was just okay, kept coming. That said, I also don't understand why there are so many smokers in Florida, doing their thing outside, when it's hot and muggy. I can see smokers lighting up at colder latitudes while huddling and commiserating under covered exterior parts of the buildings in which they work. I really enjoyed the slice of key lime pie. It took eating it a time or two to get used to it, but now I look forward to its tart and tangy flavor and aftertaste. While similar in look and it also being citrus, I almost have no use for lemon meringue pie. It seems like the size of the pie slices at Village Inn have gotten slightly smaller. What are you gonna do? At least Village Inn keeps Free Pie Wednesday going and I appreciate that. Apparently, others do too, seeing how full the parking lot - and the restaurant - were. The pricing here is fair. The food tends to be good and it's filling. The service was spirited. This is "poor man's California" and it's similarly free wheeling once the higher level of conservatism is pulled out of the equation. While boilerplate in its look and layout, the restaurant is clean, bright, and surrounded by windows, and has many seating options. Take note that if you sit in a booth, a regular sized individual will still feel like they sank quite a ways down. My only issue with Village Inn in St. Cloud on this visit might have been the slightly blander coffee and that, for this particular store, it's on the typical frenzied Florida racetrack sort of main thoroughfare, but they can't really help that.

Local to Kissimmee as well as St.Cloud!! And if you are local. You can't miss this spot!! Just remember this. Friday nights are for FISH FRY ALL YOU CAN EAT! What a hoot is this place. Homie, modern, nostalgic and more than anything. Delicious! The food it's by far the piece of le resistance. Really well made. Had the country fried chicken this time. Eggs. Pancakes. Hash brown. 11 dollars. Can't beat it!!! Cristina really went above and beyond to make sure her section was taken care off. She was very easy going and a hard worker. I really like to see her training other individuals her fine wys. I felt at home and welcomed!! Several tables next to us had nothing less to say!! She was on her ball game! Pies are what most people come here for. To take some home!! Next time I will make sure to take it on the box, and not on my belly!!! Jan C IG. Visitkissimmee

Very berry banana bowl with yogurt. Very delicious. Chicken bacon ranch bowl with frisée lettuce. Good too. To much frisée.

My Friend told me that they serve liver and onions. I love liver and onions and definitely had to try. It didn't disappoint. I've had deliveries for their salad and yogurt bowls. The yogurt bowls were very good, the salad was just okay. The ambiance feels like a Shoneys, very family oriented. I'll be back again. The only thing is the take out was placed on paper, so it was hard to move from the paper to the plate.

Second time here and I enjoyed it as the first time I came. We came on a Saturday around 11:00 a.m. the host said it would be like a 15 minute wait, and it was less than that. Our waiter was very polite, nice and attentive. The atmosphere was really nice, big space. Food was good. Prices are good for all the food they give you. If you join their rewards and download their app they send you coupons to use on your visit. Can't go wrong with saving money.

Not sure how I missed the opportunity to review the Village Inn. In comparison to other chains this chain seems to deliver better food. One just cannot stop in and eat breakfast without at the least leaving with a slice of their amazing pies. From the warm greetings to the table side service the staff here make one feel like family. My eggs are always done to perfection from Benedict to over medium nothing ever come wrong. As for the kids menu my son loves the happy face pancakes and again they make them just right. Finally if one comes for lunch I recommend the pot pie, but the club is also good.

    That old time feeling!

Free pie Wednesday is the best. The peach pie is delicious. Love the adult grilled cheese and the tomato basil soup.

Rodeo was one of the first places we found, and it's been a favorite ever since. This newer location may be an expansion, but it still holds tight to the heart and soul of the original. From the moment you walk in, you know you're somewhere special. There's nothing flashy or overdone, just honest, old-fashioned country cooking served with a smile. The staff is genuinely friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere is refreshingly simple and unpretentious. It's the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name, and newcomers are welcomed like old friends. We always go for breakfast, no reservations needed. Just roll out of bed and roll through the door. The specials are great, the prices are fair, and the food is consistently satisfying. If you're looking for a recommendation, trust me: the Rodeo Breakfast Special will absolutely make your morning. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. In a world that's constantly changing, Rodeo Diner is one of the last true vestiges of what old St. Cloud used to be.
