It's always nice when cafes offer both seasonal and regular flavor options, in addition to a large selection of menu items and pastries, and Vanessa's was the place for that! We'll have to go back again for a meal, because the meals looked huge and delightful, but the whole cafe vibe was inviting, relaxing, and the drinks were very tasty. I have come to this shopping center several times on my way to Joe Overstreet's (for wildlife photography) and never noticed this place, today, thanks to Yelp I found it, Kali made a delicious cappuccino and suggested the three meat sandwich, everything was delightful. The ambience of this place it very modern and layback, a few people talking softly, others in their laptops or phones but all and all super quiet, clean and relaxing. Stopped by Vanessa's Coffee Shop in St. Cloud on our way down from a weekend in Orlando, and it was such a pleasant surprise. There is plenty of free parking out front, which was great. Inside, it was clean and has a cozy, modest setup. I can see it getting full during the weekend rush, but it wasn't overly crowded when we visited around 10:15am on a Sunday. The bathroom is towards the back and was kept very clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! We ordered a *Mallorca sandwich with bacon, cheddar, and an over-medium egg*-- and wow! The Mallorca bread was soft, fresh, and topped with powdered sugar, just like you'd expect from a panadería on the island of Puerto Rico. My husband, who's Puerto Rican, and I both agreed that it was as authentic as you can get without actually being there. *5 Stars!! I ordered an iced matcha tea, which I was made aware after trying it that the power comes sweetened. I missed that detail when ordering as I prefer mine unsweetened, but that's on me. Would love to see an unsweetened matcha option in the future. Overall, a great breakfast/brunch/coffee spot with strong menu offerings, authentic touches, and a clean, welcoming environment. We arrived around 6 PM and the place was practically empty, with only two customers having coffee. We purchased our drinks and sat down as a family. My child was quietly sitting in his stroller watching cartoons on a phone at a low volume. Even so, a relative of the owner (not a customer) approached us and asked us to turn the volume down because there were "customers" who were bothered by it. This was despite the fact that no actual customer complained directly, and the only other two people in the shop were having conversations at a similar or even louder volume than the child's device. We still complied and lowered the volume without any issue. The cashier who served us was very kind and polite throughout the transaction, which was one of the few positive parts of the experience. Another very concerning issue was the presence of a large number of flies inside the shop, especially around the pastry display. It was obvious and constant. My husband respectfully informed an employee about it, explaining that it could become a serious health concern if an inspection were to happen, and suggested they address the issue. The employee responded politely and took action. However, what was extremely concerning is that afterward, the owner's relative served cinnamon rolls to other customers that had been exposed to flies landing on them, which we found completely unacceptable from a food safety and hygiene standpoint. It is also important to mention that the owner was present during our visit. However, she did not acknowledge us at any point, not even a basic greeting such as "good afternoon," even though she walked directly past our table. That lack of basic courtesy was noticeable. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the establishment was very disappointing. The floors were dirty, and the restroom was in truly unacceptable condition, appearing unsanitary and poorly maintained. In general, while the cashier was kind and professional, other interactions came directly from the owner and a male family member, who were the ones showing an unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude throughout the visit. The atmosphere of the coffee shop also strongly contrasts with its spiritual décor and religious messages displayed throughout the space, which makes the overall experience feel even more inconsistent with the values it appears to promote. Overall, it was an uncomfortable, unsanitary, and disappointing experience that did not make us feel welcome as a family. read more

A little stingy with the food they do charge for sauces on sandwich and then put a dap on it. They also charge for extra stuff added on coffee/match but the coffee was good the match was alright wasn't strong if you like that matcha strong. I stopped in here early one morning. It was quiet inside. There was a young woman behind the counter who greeted me. I mentioned it was my first time in and how good everything looked. She barely said anything back and gave me a slight smile. Didn't recommend anything or offer any advice. I began to order on the iPad and then she came back over and said she would take my order for me. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and a beef empanada. I have to say the food was good but I don't think I'd go back. As a first time customer I would have hoped for more from an employee. Especially since I was the only customer in there. read more

The food was really great! We got a pastrami sandwich and the berry french toast. My girlfriend is a french toast enthusiast and this has been her favorite ever, which is an achievement. The sandwich was really delicious, especially when you layer the potato chips inside the sandwich. The workers were also very kind and helpful when I requested to make my iced coquito latte a little sweeter as I don't like the taste of coffee too much. It didn't really taste too much like coquito, but I could taste the cinnamon! Still a really good latte. Would definitely come back again when we have the finances to afford it because this place is expensive!! A large drink is $9 and the french toast was around $20. The employees are welcoming and friendly, they help with any questions you have; I also liked that you could scan a QR code and order from your menu, which is great. I ordered the iced caramel latte with whipped cream, it was alright, nothing out of the ordinary but it was good. The sandwiches I ordered I wasn't the biggest fan of, the Cuban was not like any other Cuban I've had before, it had a block of pork and slice of ham with pickles and mustard; which yes is all inside a normal Cuban but the block of pork really offset the sandwich. We have heard wonderful things about Vanessa's so we decided to give it a try. Such a great find, and a lovely local coffee shop! They offered a large variety of breakfast and brunch foods, along with different kinds of coffees and drinks! Something neat was their seasonal offerings, with right now having a selection of pumpkin brunch and coffee items! The staff was very friendly and was able to answer any questions we may have had. Vanessa's started off as such a cute and perfect little coffee shop. Everything was great from service to the different craft coffees. The food was excellent! Used to be one of my go to places to study and get my caffeine kick. The staff is very polite and the aesthetics of the place are lovely. As time has passed I have noticed ordering online and in person has become harder and harder. Online orders do not get made until you tell them you are there for your order, leaving you to wait a long time which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. I understand the point is freshness but there needs to be a better system. I do think they've grown more than they have the staff and the location for it. Although it has always been pricey I never had an issue paying for it as the food was great quality but with these wait times everything gets affected. read more

Today, October 24, 2025, I went to this place for the first time, and I think it was my biggest mistake, my debut and my final goodbye. The coffee didn't taste good. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, and to my surprise, it came with pickles (see photo). It's not what's on the menu, and what they serve. I complained about the small amount of meat, which was almost nothing, and they responded in a rather unpleasant way that that was the portion. I replied that for $13.50, I should have had a little more meat, that this was a rip-off. I expected better service, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case! I think when it comes to having customers, you should think about quantity and quality. For what you pay, you expect to be satisfied at least. I would have liked to give it a second chance... but no! Very expensive for what they serve, little flavor, and poor customer service... Located in Saint Cloud... I don't recommend it! read more

Finally visited this cafe after bookmarking it a while back. We were able to find seating immediately on a Sunday. Their doesn't seem to be table service. You must scan menu to place orders for drinks and food. I ordered the Graham Cracker Latte and although the coffee was delish, I wasnt a fan of the graham cracker crust. I have not been here in a few years and have been wanting their coffee, I remember it was so good. So I looked up the place for it's hours and saw they close at 9pm so on a Friday evening about 7pm I decided to take a drive there and found them to be closed. They closed at 4 was the note on the door. I was disappointed. The next day I decided to drive out there again and have breakfast with my coffee. I heard there were long lines. I gave 2 stars because I got my food pretty quickly and the coffee was just as delicious as I remembered but that's where the praise stops. I ordered a Vanessa omelette at $13 which consists of one meat, cheese, potatoes and toast. I was asked for onions too. I ordered a medium coffee with oat milk and I was asked if I wanted whip cream, sure I replied but just a little. I was charged $2.50 for the onions, 75 cents for the oat milk and 75 cents for the whip cream. Last time I bought milk in store, oat, almond and whole milk were all the same price. The omelette looked very good when I opened the box but when I could not cut a piece of it with a fork I wondered why, upon closer inspection I realized this "omelette" was a burnt fried egg turned over, 3 slices of folded boiled ham put in the middle, folded in half to hide the brown and cheese melted over top. Everything was pretty greasy and gave me a stomach ache after; with the little bit I did try. The rest went into the trash. I was more than disappointed in this place. $13 for burnt eggs? Oh and the coffee? A medium was a small in most places 8oz cup here. I'm not sure what brings the crowds but I'll pass on this one next time. It's too bad; their coffee does taste good read more

Stumbled upon this place while looking to kill time. It's a great coffee house! The food all looks spectacular. I had previously had and wasn't really hungry so I had to control my impulses just because everything I saw looked great. My latte was delicious. Whenever I'm back in the area I'll certainly stop in again. Plenty of space to sit with friends, chat, or set up for a few hours to work. We have this very charming coffee shop in St. Cloud. It's located in the Canoe Creek Plaza. Although it's a bit pricey, I recommend that you come and try it out. You order your food and then they call your name so you can pick it up. They don't have waiters. In their menu they offer more than just coffee. They have omelettes, waffles, French toast and much more. I ordered a sandwich and coffee, and it was pretty good. Their staff is very pleasant. I walked in was never greeted and just handed a menu. I hope you speak Spanish. I asked for whole milk and then I noticed she charged me for oat milk. I asked her about charge and that I did not want oat milk I wanted whole milk. She kept repeating oat milk and I would say no whole milk. She had to get someone else to translate it for her. When I was handed my drink she never said thank you or anything. She handed me my drink in a to go cup while everyone else had ceramic/glass mugs. I guess that was a hint they wanted me to go.....doubt I will be coming back. They also charge 3.5% surcharge for using debt/credit card. Have a little choices for kids menu. Honestly their serving is big so it can be shared. One dish can be share with 2 people. Love, love, love this cute little place. So nice to have something like this in Saint Cloud. There's hope for my small town yet. They have a couple tables outside the store front. Inside there is a lounge area with a sofa, loveseat and coffee table, and some tables along the wall. It's a small cozy space but comfortable. Immediately you notice the case with all the yummy pastries. They have a large variety of drinks to choose from; regular espresso type drinks (hot or iced), tea, and specialty drinks. In addition they have breakfast sandwiches and croissants. I ordered two pastries, the guava-cheese pastry and the carrot cake, and a cinnamon latte to wash it down. I was immediately served the pastries and given a buzzer to notify me when my latte was ready. I found an empty table to sit at and set up my laptop while I waited for my latte. They have free Wi-Fi and the noise level is low, so it was a nice relaxing place to work while enjoying my coffee and sweets. Both of the pastries were yummy, fresh, moist and sweet, without being sickening sweet. The cinnamon late was made perfectly and toped off with a beautiful foam design. I look forward to going back many more times and trying some of their interesting specialty drinks and deserts. They also have carryout. I can see me ordering a box of pastries to take home early as a surprise for the family on weekend mornings. The only point for improvement I would make is the service. Everyone was very nice, but not very attentive to the patrons needs. It would go a long way if they greeted people when they entered, and engaged the customers more, even after serving them.
