The big reason I'm knocking it a star is the pricing. My waffle (small) was $13. I could go get a whole meal at chipotle or a food spot for that. Over all everything I bought here, 1 drink, 2 food items was almost $40. Too pricey IMO! They don't have prices anywhere either like others state, that's annoying to me. I know I go to a lot of coffee shops but when I saw this one in my feet on TikTok and how close and proximity it is to my house which is about 40 minutes lol I knew I needed to go on my day off and try it out. I visited the week afternoon years on the 5th and the windows were still painted for the holidays and it was absolutely beautiful and I immediately felt at peace. I'm not going to get into too much detail because this is a review of the location but I've been going through some stuff walking in I was greeted and welcomed in and I took a few minutes to look over the menu and I decided to order a cinnamon honey latte with almond milk. No I'm not going to mince words This is a faith-based coffee shop hence the name John 3:16. So expect to see faith-based everywhere so if you're not down with it then that is your choice but I will tell you this place makes a great latte. So I ordered a Goliath which is a large Rebecca latte which is a cinnamon honey latte with almond milk. Since at the time I was the only one ordering the barista had me go ahead and take a seat and within a few minutes my hot latte was brought to my table she pointed out that there were Bibles on the table and that there was a Bible verse written on the bottom of my cup which was her way of letting me know if I wanted to look up the verse I could. I of course immediately looked up the verse and it just spoke volumes to my heart. Now before you think oh it's probably the same verse on every cup it is not there are all sorts of verses written and this one just happened to speak to me. Upon the first sip I knew I had made the right choice to visit today. I took my time enjoying my latte and others quickly filed in through the doors and place their orders. When your entire business has Bible verses plastered on everything you should realize you have a higher standard to behave like believers. The fact that your menu has NO PRICES, is a sleazy tactic to charge high prices without being honest. Then you have negative signage everywhere; charging $.50 for a water cup..!? Other people have also commented about how disingenuous this place is. It's like generically using Bible verses to ripoff Christians and it's a bad look.. $30 for a few WATERED down coffees and slices of bread. Never going here again. I'd rather go to a non "Christian" business that doesn't rip off their customers and aren't rude.. Here's tips: 1. Be transparent on your menu pricing. 2. Stop watering down your coffee as many have said. 3 Take off all your negative and cheapskate water signage. If I see outreach from the business and update to their deceptive menu, I'd happily come back here and revisit my low rating. read more

We were in area shopping and decided to stop in for some coffee. The decor and ambiance was very trendy and cute! There were tables inside where you could sit and enjoy your drink, or you were able to get it to go. The menu had an extensive selection of flavors and options, definitely made it hard to pick as they all sounded good! We both got an ice white mocha cold brew coffee. While we enjoyed the drink, we were slightly disappointed that they didn't inform us that it came with a whipped topping, as we try to avoid eating dairy. Not a huge deal breaker, but had we known it came on the drink we would have made to sure to order without it. At other coffee shops when we order a nondairy option, typically the person taking our order would let us know that something with dairy comes with the drink, allowing us the opportunity to ensure we order the drink the way we want, but that did not happen here. The pricing here was a bit steep. For both coffees we paid $17. We felt like we had more ice and whipped topping in our cups than we did coffee, which made the price hurt a bit more for us too. I feel like we could get similar quality coffee for a more affordable price elsewhere. We loved the atmosphere of this coffee shop, and hope to give it another try in the future! read more

I must say this is in my top 3 of local coffee shops that offered not only an amazing cup of coffee, but the vision why this coffee shop came about. We met the owner and she was so inviting of the history and her testimony of this café. The coffee was absolutely delicious. It was like a deconstructed oatmeal cream pie. I have never had anything that tasted like this before in a coffee version. This is a great place to meet up with friends and Bible study, or by yourself. The sourdough homemade bread was toasted to perfection crunchy on the edges, and the butter on top just made it melt in my mouth. The place began to get very busy as the day went by, but it is worth the wait and travel to get here. It has a classic charm look and feel to it situated in the heart of downtown St. Cloud as it also has a quaint hotel right to the left of it. So happy to have found this wonderful hidden gem in the heart of downtown St Cloud. One day I decided to stop by and I don't see myself having any other coffee besides this one except for Sunday (they're closed). As soon as you walk in Kristy (the owner) greets you with a friendly smile. Being my first time here I had a few questions about the menu and both, the employee and the owner were super attentive and helpful. The first time I came I didn't realize there was food until I heard them telling someone something about avocado. Then I realized I had found my favorite coffee pairing. Sea of Galilee a perfect Egg Avocado Toast. Love the atmosphere and ambiance in here it's so relaxing weather your looking to work or just sip on your drink, either inside or outside on their patio. We visited on Wednesday afternoon. There were a few people inside but we didn't have any wait. We ordered and had a seat and our orders were called out to us. I tried an iced tea and it was delicious! My kids had various coffees and a hit chocolate. They all loved their drinks and my son told me it was the best hot chocolate he'd ever had. He's only 9, but the boy has sampled a fair share of hot chocolate in his short life. I appreciated the prayer wall. It was nice to read the prayer requests and say a brief prayer for them as we waited for our drinks. Such a cute place & we would love to visit again if we're in the area! read more

Small coffee shop in historic downtown St. Cloud. Obviously a Christian themed shop with a cozy atmosphere. Brick walls are adorned with plastic ivy providing a 'natural' feel. Service was fast and courteous and friendly. The shop has a very limited health oriented menu. I had the Sea of Galilee and a large latte. The latte was very smooth and bold. The Sea was an avocado toast spread. It's a mix of avocado and hard boiled egg, topped with balsamic and some sort of spice sprinkle. This is complimented with either sourdough or everything bagel crackers. I went with the sourdough. Although good, I thought the Sea could have used more egg and the balsamic was a tad sweet. There is limited indoor seating but there is a large outdoor patio and play area. There is also a nice lobby area adjoining the shop. Overall, I recommend this place. BE WARNED, a glass of tap water will cost you 50 cents :o (minus one star). read more

Not sure if it was an off day/morning, but the service was not good. Second time here. First time, it was an amazing experience with the owner. This time the lady working the register and making the coffee seemed liked I was bothering her by being there. She was condescending, smirks and offers me 2% when I asked for a splash of cream in my coffee and rolled her eyes when I order avo toast (deconstructed) and was told "you're gonna have to wait cause we are out". Not how I would expect to be treated at a coffee shop with scriptures in its name. As reference, there were a few people seated and having their coffee and I was the only one in line when I walked in. You can tell it is very community driven and I love all the little humorous and creative names for their drinks like a salted caramel "Lot's wife." The drinks were very nice but pricey. We would definitely go back but with a foreknowledge that we are going to pay a lot per drink. read more

I had the vanilla coffee, and my wife opted for the vanilla lavender oat milk with a shot of espresso. Both drinks were fantastic! This place was recommended by my nephew so I decided to drive an hour from East Orlando to St. Cloud. Let me tell you this place is does not disappoint. I love the Bible scriptures. The atmosphere is very, very humble, peaceful and warming. This little café spot is very cozy and very welcoming like I said I could see why some people wanna hold private events there and let me talk about their coffee. I'm not gonna lie. I indulged in about two different types of coffee, one hot one cold any suggestions the barista offers taken it you will not be disappointed. I have a friend that moved to the area not so long ago. This is the cutest and coziest caffe I have been to! I love the intentionality from the menu items down to the cup sizes (David and Goliath)! There is lots of seating outside, inside by the windows/doors, tables throughout, and even outdoor seating in the back porch. The service is always friendly and quick every time I've come in and I am always greeted with a warm smile. I ordered the strawberry matcha which was absolutely delicious!!! You can tell the syrups are made in-house and add a lovely sweetness to the drinks. This place is so special you can feel the presence of god. The menu is all bible versus which makes this place so unique. I met the owner and she is the kindest person I have ever met! Beautiful ambiance. I believe there was a bible study happening as we walked in, which we loved to see! Friendly staff. We ordered three items: Kids Eden Beverage (almost four dollars!) Vanilla iced latte Cappuccino They didn't have whole milk for our coffees. They did have 2%. When we ordered the cappuccino they asked for size but usually a cappuccino comes in a standard size due to portioning. We love seeing a faith centered place. If you're into coffee, expect average coffee. We are the type to grind our own artisan beans so please allow that for context. We spent about $17 total and found it to be overpriced for the quality. We will continue to support but hope the quality of coffee does improve for the price. read more

The iced mint mocha latte was delicious and the avocado egg salad on the everything bagel was also very good. My only complaint is the pricing. It was twenty-some dollars for a drink and a bagel with a little egg salad. The drink itself was over $8! I am huge into supporting small businesses and I love privately owned coffee shops, but the prices are just too high for me to afford to be a regular customer.
