The new location of this shop is so cute and cozy and was much needed! Now you can stop in and stay awhile, none of the seating options inside are bad options. The menu has a lot of variety and plenty of flavor options to customize with. Haven't tried the food yet but they always have a case of pastry options read more

Cute little coffee shop and reasonably priced including their pastries. I wasn't super impressed by the flavor of the coffee but I added an extra shot at home and it was better so maybe add one when ordering. They use monin and it tasted almost sugar free but I don't think it was. The muffin and cinnamon roll both tasted stale and didn't have a good underlying flavor. The customer service was really subpar as well and the barista didn't seem to want to be there. A few people noted that's a common theme when they come as well. read more

Cool little craft coffee shop. Some pretty interesting iced coffee creations they have. Gave one of them a try, and it didn't last long. Reasonable prices and cool vibe as well. read more

Madilynn's is such a cute little coffee shop in downtown St. Cloud and the perfect spot to start the morning. It has a cozy, welcoming feel, and the drinks are always made with care. One of my favorite things is that the owner rotates seasonal specials, so there's usually something fun and new to try. It makes each visit feel a little different in the best way. Great local spot for a morning pick-me-up! read more

Everything about Madilynn's Craft Coffee shop keeps me coming back again and again. I haven't been to a big coffee chain since I found this great spot! The service is always fast and efficient. Sometimes, the owner is behind the counter but most of the time it is the same, very friendly barista. Excellent choice of baked goods and pastries as well! The vibe is excellent here with a nice seating area, books for kids, and plants all around. I recommend coming in and checking it out for yourself and see what makes this place so great. read more

Great local shop, coffee is really good. Only recommendations is maybe expanding the food menu in the future (maybe more options of bakery items) and having more food inventory in stock. I went Friday at 930am and they were of bagels and limited bakery items available. Besides that, I have been going to this coffee shop for years and still amazing and consistent with flavor :-) read more

I have been coming to this coffee shop since they first opened and they still have not let me down. The service is amazing! They are always so welcoming! The atmosphere is cozy and cool and a nice spot to just sit and relax. They have so many different beverages and my favorite part is when they come out with new coffees during the holidays. 10/10 recommend. :) read more

$7.10 for a 16oz cup of regular coffee with cream and sugar? Menu lists the price for $5.65, but they charge you $0.85 for the Half and Half lol. Nice place but think I'll pass next time. read more

Amazing customer service and hospitality, young lady made my coffee very well and salon located next door was a good touch .

No acknowlegment since the staff was busy helping another customer. Thought it was weird but assumed that was the status quo customer service for the barista. Nope, after I place my order, a couple comes in behind me and she immediately says, "Be with you in a second." Hm. Another thing, during my order staff asks me if I want a 12oz or 16oz for my coffees. So wouldn't one assume that the latter is a large size? Next to the counter, in plain sight, is this "10% large drink coupon." So I ask to use the coupon with the 16oz. Barista says, actually our 16oz is a small. What, then is the large drink option? Apparently doesn't exist for my drip nor the latte. The saving grace was that the coffee was a coffee, I guess. read more

Coffee was good. Cute shop and the staff are really sweet. I'm from NY so when I go to Florida I try to find a good coffee spot and this is definitely on my list read more

I went here yesterday morning and loved it so much that I had to go again this morning ...except this time I left with a lot more . I just moved here and I've been going to Starbucks every day because I'm not familiar with what's around and I hate it so much. I don't even finish my drinks because I'm not a fan of Starbucks (for many reasons not only because they suck ) so needless to say, I was very happy to have found this cute coffee shop! When I first walked in, I realized that not only is it a coffee shop but the other half of it is a hair salon! I absolutely love the idea of that because I'm a hairstylist and I'm constantly running to a café near my salon to grab things for my clients, so what a brilliant idea! Then come to find out the owners of both businesses are actually sisters! So cute. Anywaysss.. I got a cinnamon bun coffee and and everything sourdough bagel, made from a local baker, and it was so good! Today I went back and ordered a mocha chocolate latte and a jalapeño cheddar sourdough bagel and it is delicious as well. Also ordered coffee and a bagel to go for my husband. Today they had a pop up shop happening selling things from local vendors and I bought a bunch of hand made Christmas decorations that the owner's mom makes and sells. New favorite place! I'll be there tomorrow read more

I ordered a caramel latte and it was really good. Had a hint of something different that I can't place but made it really good. I would totally go back next time I'm in town. read more

Stopped in at this corner shop for some coffee after brunch and was not disappointed! All the drinks that my party received were delicious (I tried them all). The staff was really nice and helpful when asking about what was in the latte! I got the Keke which was toasted marshmallow and vanilla (I believe, maybe check before you order it lol) was very tasty. Other girls in my party had the a coconut one, honey bee, and a fall seasonal toasted marshmallow and pumpkin spice flavor!! The shop itself is mixed in with a hair salon which confused me at first when I walked in through the back door but nonetheless, the vibes were good! read more

I am always on the search for a good cup of coffee and today I found another gem. Nestled just off of 13th street in St. Cloud you will find Southern Grounds in a shared space with a hair salon. With my newly shaved head I wasn't in the need of a haircut but I was in need of coffee. For a small space they have a great assortment of coffee options. I chose a Honeg Bee Iced Latte, which is local honey and vanilla. The barista was very friendly and quickly brewed my drink. It was sweet with honey and a nice blend of vanilla, which really hit the spot. I will definitely be back to try more of their drink offerings! Please be safe and enjoy! read more

One of my best friend had told me about this place. I had been meaning to come for months and one of my lunch breaks I finally gave in. BEST DECISION I MADE! I love this place, ever since going on my lunch break I haven't stopped. If you're in the area I suggest for you to stop by. They are conjoined with a hair salon but you can't even tell. Whenever I go in I can't never smell any chemicals or anything of that sort. They have other options besides whole milk which it's so good for me and others. Their coffees, teas, and pastries are all amazing! read more

I had their ice coffee, it was great. Not bitter at all, unlike other ice coffees I've tried. Careful it packs a punch with caffeine. Only draw back to this place is its very small, very limited seating. Most people take coffee to go. read more

We are on vacation in the area and wanted something other than the basic chains. We were able to order online and our order was ready when we got there and there was no confusion on where to pick it up. I got the Keke and my partner got the S'mores! Sometimes drinking locally-owned coffee is an unfavorable experience, but we loved our drinks and are looking forward to going back again! We visited Madilynn's on 09/12/2023. read more

You wouldn't find this place unless you were looking for it, but you need to look for it. Great coffee and signature drinks. It's connected to a hair salon which is odd and interesting but didn't hamper business as it was brisk when I entered at 3pm. I ordered an iced latte which was delicious. I'll be back for more. read more

SO CUTE! I absolutely love this place! The coffee is of course delicious, with lots of syrup flavors, cappuccinos & lattes, plus bakery options and the prices are very fair - after you tip your barista you still spend less than you would at Starbucks plus you're supporting a local business = win/win! I first heard of this place because I go to Salon Emvy to Emiliee Lainer for my hair, and her sister is the owner of Southern Grounds ! They're in the same building and it's so stinking cute honestly the whole vibe of it is fabulous. Here I have a Toasted Marshmellow Iced Latte, and yes it's to die for! FIVE STARS! read more

First time here. I was greeted right away. The atmosphere was nice very cute quaint shop. Looks like it is connected to a hair salon. I asked for an ice macchiato, barista asked me for flavor and milk preferences. She gave me options, She was very sweet! I was in and out of shop within 3 minutes if that. My macchiato tastes perfect, not too sweet and holds the coffee flavor very well. I will certainly be visiting again soon. read more

OK I've been here probably three or four times and it's always cute sophisticated and just a whole different vibe kind of coffee shop. The coffee grounds here are homemade, not store-bought. Almost everything I've had has been delicious. Today I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie as I am six months pregnant and cannot have coffee. It was really good, had a great flavor & lasted me my entire hair appointment at the salon next-door. What's great about this coffee shop is it's connected to Salon Emvy, and they ask you if you were a client getting your hair done and if you are they will deliver it to you. That was an added perk! Make sure if you're in the area you go and check this place out you will not be disappointed. read more

Based on images posted, this appears to be a traditional coffee shop. It's more of a coffee bar annexed next to a hair salon. That smell crossover was unpleasant. Very, very limited seating against the walls inside. Outside there are cute seats if your wish is to bake in coverless bistro seats in the sun. Coffee is probably fine--but the ambiance had us heading out of the door as soon as we entered. read more

Finally have a great coffee spot in St.Cloud. Enjoyed some hot brew with a pumpkin cheese muffin! Yummmm!!! Feeling like fall! ...great atmosphere..has outside seating. I'm kind of a "big city" craft coffee snob. So when I came to visit family in St. Cloud, I wasn't sure I'd find a local spot, especially after my non-coffee-drinking stepmom (who lives locally) told me to lower my expectations. But then...I found Southern Grounds and was more than pleasantly surprised. The coffee is fantastic and roasted locally. The owner knows her customers by name and makes every drink & treat with love. Every time I'm in town now, I demand a morning run to Southern Grounds for my large drip w/ cream and an iced latte (with the occasional bagel/muffin). Everything is delicious. It's a small space, so limited indoor/outdoor seating. Southern Grounds is all about coffee & kindness. Can't wait to get back read more

Southern Grounds delivers an experience I never thought I'd be a part of; walking into a hair salon that has a legit coffee shop inside! Southern Grounds' portion of the space is very cute with a cool wood and southern charm vibe. I mean who doesn't love the option to buy a wood painted sign that says "come eat ya'll" while sipping some yummy coffee? We ordered coffee for a morning meeting. It came in a cute and not so standard coffee box, with half and half as well as whole milk on the side. The coffee itself has a wonderfully nutty flavor. Will be returning to try the speciality coffees. The Keke sounds very promising. read more

Adorably cute little specialty coffee house in downtown St. Cloud. OPened since June of this year. They share a space with a hair salon next door that is run by the owners sister. All the wood art in the store is done by the owners mother. Very small with only one table and two high chairs inside. A few table are outside which is cute. This is cute right off the main corner, so there is a little more car traffic then I would like if seating outside but it does give you the hometown feel. Good sideways parking right outside the place and also many spots in the back. I went with the salty coconut because who doesn't love an almond joy in a cup. Great flavor. My daughter went with the smores. Again, smores in a cup. Yummo!!! Not too many snacks for sale but I feel it's about the coffee here (but they do have a few). Definitely with the trip. I know I will be back. read more

I live just a few streets from downtown & have been following this shop on IG for a months now. I finally got a chance to visit & was unfortunately disappointed in my first experience. The shop is very cute & the coffee was good. However, the customer service was subpar at best. Since it was my sister & I's first visit we wanted just a few moments to look over the menu, & I would have also liked to ask a few questions since I am on a dairy free diet. Instead of being able to we felt rushed by the barista & the 1 question I did ask she made me feel very belittled for even asking. She had a very condescending tone & seemed annoyed that she had to do anything at all. & on top of her bad attitude she was not even wearing a mask while making our orders or talking to us. I'm not sure if I will be back. The coffee was good but I hope the service is better if I return. read more

Nice, small, local coffee shop on downtown Saint Cloud. Definitely beats Statbucks, DDonuts and those other fast food chains coffee. Their coffee has flavor, its very rich and tasteful. When I first came to this shop I wasn't hopeful. It looks like a small place, and my mind didn't have great expectations for it for some reason. However, my walls were shattered by the fantastic decor, comfortable atmosphere, and great people working behind the counter. The drinks are incredible, and the people are just as lovely. I find myself at Madilynns 4-5 times a week now and every time I come in they are already making my drink because they know me so well.
