Everything about Madilynn's Craft Coffee shop keeps me coming back again and again. I haven't been to a big coffee chain since I found this great spot! The service is always fast and efficient. Sometimes, the owner is behind the counter but most of the time it is the same, very friendly barista. Excellent choice of baked goods and pastries as well! The vibe is excellent here with a nice seating area, books for kids, and plants all around. I recommend coming in and checking it out for yourself and see what makes this place so great.

No acknowlegment since the staff was busy helping another customer. Thought it was weird but assumed that was the status quo customer service for the barista. Nope, after I place my order, a couple comes in behind me and she immediately says, "Be with you in a second." Hm. Another thing, during my order staff asks me if I want a 12oz or 16oz for my coffees. So wouldn't one assume that the latter is a large size? Next to the counter, in plain sight, is this "10% large drink coupon." So I ask to use the coupon with the 16oz. Barista says, actually our 16oz is a small. What, then is the large drink option? Apparently doesn't exist for my drip nor the latte. The saving grace was that the coffee was a coffee, I guess.

Stopped in at this corner shop for some coffee after brunch and was not disappointed! All the drinks that my party received were delicious (I tried them all). The staff was really nice and helpful when asking about what was in the latte! I got the Keke which was toasted marshmallow and vanilla (I believe, maybe check before you order it lol) was very tasty. Other girls in my party had the a coconut one, honey bee, and a fall seasonal toasted marshmallow and pumpkin spice flavor!! The shop itself is mixed in with a hair salon which confused me at first when I walked in through the back door but nonetheless, the vibes were good!

I am always on the search for a good cup of coffee and today I found another gem. Nestled just off of 13th street in St. Cloud you will find Southern Grounds in a shared space with a hair salon. With my newly shaved head I wasn't in the need of a haircut but I was in need of coffee. For a small space they have a great assortment of coffee options. I chose a Honeg Bee Iced Latte, which is local honey and vanilla. The barista was very friendly and quickly brewed my drink. It was sweet with honey and a nice blend of vanilla, which really hit the spot. I will definitely be back to try more of their drink offerings! Please be safe and enjoy!

One of my best friend had told me about this place. I had been meaning to come for months and one of my lunch breaks I finally gave in. BEST DECISION I MADE! I love this place, ever since going on my lunch break I haven't stopped. If you're in the area I suggest for you to stop by. They are conjoined with a hair salon but you can't even tell. Whenever I go in I can't never smell any chemicals or anything of that sort. They have other options besides whole milk which it's so good for me and others. Their coffees, teas, and pastries are all amazing!

SO CUTE! I absolutely love this place! The coffee is of course delicious, with lots of syrup flavors, cappuccinos & lattes, plus bakery options and the prices are very fair - after you tip your barista you still spend less than you would at Starbucks plus you're supporting a local business = win/win! I first heard of this place because I go to Salon Emvy to Emiliee Lainer for my hair, and her sister is the owner of Southern Grounds ! They're in the same building and it's so stinking cute honestly the whole vibe of it is fabulous. Here I have a Toasted Marshmellow Iced Latte, and yes it's to die for! FIVE STARS!

First time here. I was greeted right away. The atmosphere was nice very cute quaint shop. Looks like it is connected to a hair salon. I asked for an ice macchiato, barista asked me for flavor and milk preferences. She gave me options, She was very sweet! I was in and out of shop within 3 minutes if that. My macchiato tastes perfect, not too sweet and holds the coffee flavor very well. I will certainly be visiting again soon.

Can't wait to try this Salted Caramel and Toasted Marshmallow Macchiato

OK I've been here probably three or four times and it's always cute sophisticated and just a whole different vibe kind of coffee shop. The coffee grounds here are homemade, not store-bought. Almost everything I've had has been delicious. Today I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie as I am six months pregnant and cannot have coffee. It was really good, had a great flavor & lasted me my entire hair appointment at the salon next-door. What's great about this coffee shop is it's connected to Salon Emvy, and they ask you if you were a client getting your hair done and if you are they will deliver it to you. That was an added perk! Make sure if you're in the area you go and check this place out you will not be disappointed.

I'm kind of a "big city" craft coffee snob. So when I came to visit family in St. Cloud, I wasn't sure I'd find a local spot, especially after my non-coffee-drinking stepmom (who lives locally) told me to lower my expectations. But then...I found Southern Grounds and was more than pleasantly surprised. The coffee is fantastic and roasted locally. The owner knows her customers by name and makes every drink & treat with love. Every time I'm in town now, I demand a morning run to Southern Grounds for my large drip w/ cream and an iced latte (with the occasional bagel/muffin). Everything is delicious. It's a small space, so limited indoor/outdoor seating. Southern Grounds is all about coffee & kindness. Can't wait to get back

The atmosphere is very, very humble, peaceful and warming. This little café spot is very cozy and very welcoming like I said I could see why some people wanna hold private events there and let me talk about their coffee. I'm not gonna lie. I indulged in about two different types of coffee, one hot one cold any suggestions the barista offers taken it you will not be disappointed. I have a friend that moved to the area not so long ago. I want to find more excuses to come visit her, but it needs to be a lot earlier before they close because when they're close, I have no desire to drive there because if I go to St. Cloud, this is my other spot to go so if you want your coffee early, get there early beautiful spot wonderful staff and the coffee is just amazing five star is underrated so I could double it I would.

The big reason I'm knocking it a star is the pricing. My waffle (small) was $13. I could go get a whole meal at chipotle or a food spot for that. Over all everything I bought here, 1 drink, 2 food items was almost $40. Too pricey IMO! They don't have prices anywhere either like others state, that's annoying to me. Overall would definitely come back, just wish they worked on lowering the prices

I chose a heavy one with coffee notes and my husband got the jalapeño wrapper. He let me try a puff and immediately I was jealous and wanted to trade. Google Cigar stores near me and this was the first on the list. I give it a 2 because of the billing experience. I would recommend people to visit. But pay attention to the billing process. The lack of a humidor = 1. The attentiveness to the customer = 5. Bathroom was clean and taken care of = 5. Seating was adequate = 3. It is a small cigar shop by footprint the main area has the cigars along the wall. A bathroom and a number of comfortable seating options. If one chooses there are tables outside to use. There is a bar area in a second room. It has bar stools for sitting. I was there mid afternoon not crowded. The owner Mr. G told me there is music in evening come the weekend. I would imagine this could become a tight place to be in. There is no humidor room for cigars. I shown a humidifier up in the ceiling area. But yet the door was open. Due to room size it would not be possible to setup a humidor room. That would give pause on how well cigars can hold up. I smoked two and one of them the wrapper started to show signs of coming apart. But was able to finish it. The team is very friendly. I was greeted when I came in. Was shown the cigar selections. Mr G the owner spent time chatting with me. Waitresses were attentive. I had a couple of Dark IPAs on tap. Good Pricing was to be expected ranging from $10 to $20. The downside to the experience was when I checked out 18% tip was added to the bill ($15.00) Yet on the bottom it has suggested tip from 18%, 20, 25%. So one is tipping on the beverages and beer. The tax is about 10.5%. In all my cigar shop visits I have never paid a tip on cigars. The beers were $5.95 each. I know that someone took time to show me the selection but others shop do as well. If i do visit again I would pay for the cigars upon purchase. Let the bar bill be a seperate charge. At this point when I tip I do it in cash and keep it to 10% to 15% and if exceptional 20%. The beers were expensive based on the tip. I am sure there is rationale to the why but this one took away from the whole experience. I supposed I could have push back but just let it be as a learning experience. The last point is when I went to sign off it was suggested by the staff and machine I could add an additional tip amount. I declined.
